Arts & ScienceAndreas Syngros Avenue features fine examples of modern and post modern architecture in Athens, many of these emblematic buildings house important cultural and educational institutions. The old beer factory is being converted into a Modern Art Museum while a few years ago the Onassis Cultural Center was completed. In addition, we will explore the visitors’ pavilion of the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center with an exciting sneak preview of this huge project designed by the architectural firm of Renzo Piano. When completed the project will contain a new opera house and a public library and will restore the city’s lost connection to the sea. Lastly, participants will explore the New Digital Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation which is one of the largest, state-of-the-art digital planetariums in the world.

14:45-16:00 3D Reality TheatreAfter a scrumptious lunch, it is time to embark upon a 3D Reality experience. We will visit the “Hellenic Cosmos”, the Cultural Centre of the Foundation of the Hellenic World which stands out for its innovative programs and design. We will enter the “Tholos”, the dome-shaped Virtual Reality “Theatre”, whose shape is similar to a whirling celestial body. This is where we will experience an interactive show, which will be spectator-controlled giving us a unique experience of immersion into the virtual world.

Morning Site VisitsOur day will begin with a site visit to explore the biggest conference and Exhibition Venue of the city of Athens the Metropolitan Expo near the Athens International Airport. We will then enjoy our coffee at the Vorres Museum, which is considered one of the most beautiful and original of its kind in the world as it comprises of Folk Art Collection, Contemporary Greek Art and Gardens that create a unique Greek aesthetic harmony. We will then head off to the seaside to explore the seaside conference venues and enjoy our lunch by the seaside.

14:20-17:30 Afternoon Site VisitsDuring the Afternoon site visit we will explore the New Digital Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation, one of the largest, state-of-the-art digital planetariums in the world. We will head off to visit the Onassis Cultural Centre offering 18,000sq.m. for conferences, symposia, Press Conferences. It also makes its well-appointed restaurant available for professional dinners and other corporate events. Site visits to select hotel venues will follow (45 minutes to an hour for each venue).

Art amongst NatureOur day will begin with a visit to the Vorres Museum which is considered one of the most beautiful and original of its kind in the world as it comprises of Folk Art Collection, Contemporary Greek Art and Gardens with Mediterranean flora that create a unique Greek aesthetic harmony.

10:00-15:00 Saronic Sailing!In the morning, our buses will take us through the Athens Riviera reaching the city's main marina, Alimos Marina (or Flisvos). From there, we will embark on private boats for a sailing tour of the Athens southern coastline. We will sail across the Saronic gulf to reach the island of Salamis. The island is known for the Battle of Salamis, the decisive naval victory of the allied Greek fleet, led by Themistocles, over the Persian Empire in 480 BC. Then, we will sail through Vouliagmeni, the most picturesque and lush seaside suburb of Athens. While your skipper & host sail your boat, you'll be able to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the gorgeous sea-view. While on board, you will have the opportunity to experience traditional local cuisine. After lunch, our boats will take us back to Athens, with a stop at Floisvos Marina, where you will enjoy your coffee with a fabulous view of the yachts and the sea. Please note that we might have to alter our route depending on weather conditions.

Animal LoversWe will then go to the Attica Zoological Park, and ideal destination for the entire family-which extends to a total area of 20 hectares and hosts more than 2000 animals from 350 different species. You will be also be able to witness a live educational, half-hour show.

Country-side wine-tastingAccording to mythology, Dionysus, the god of wine, spread the art of wine-making to the Greeks. We will sample some of the most famous and award-winning Greek wines, amongst the pristine environment of the Nasioutzik Museum, with 4000m2 of gardens as well as a complex of beautifully decorated ancient mansions, which are available for a variety of corporate and private events, and a small Byzantine art museum.

09:30-13:30 Morning Site VisitsOur day will begin with a breakfast and site visit at the Athenaum Intercontinental which offers a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1500pax and 40 meeting rooms. We will head off to explore one the Historical Conferece Centers of Europe the “Zappeion”. We will walk through the National Gardens and the Syntagma square to visit the hotels around Syntagma square and enjoy our lunch at a select Hotel venue

14:30-16:00 Afternoon Site Visits (Optional)During the Afternoon site visit we will explore the Hellenic Motor Museum and the New Acropolis Museum which are also suitable for mid-scale events and conferences. The rest of the day you can choose between wine tasting or food tasting tours.
