Upgrade from previous versions (1)

● All FlexiCapture 10 local projects (.fcproj) can be opened and used in FlexiCapture 11. Please note the following:

● It is impossible to open an .fcproj-project in FlexiCapture 10 once it was opened in FlexiCapture 11, so create a copy of the project before opening it in FlexiCapture 11 if you still need to open it in FlexiCapture 10

● After opening a FlexiCapture 10 project in FlexiCapture 11 you may need to delete all processing results and analyze all pages once again.

Upgrade from previous versions (2)

● FlexiCapture 10 network projects that were loaded on server can also be used in FlexiCapture 11.

● Finish processing of all batches in FC10

● Close all opened sessions via Administration and Monitoring Console

● Install FlexiCapture 11

● Make sure that FC 10 database is not used by FC 11.

● Upgrade database to necessary version on the Administration and Monitoring Console

● Open the project from Server on the Project Setup Station. It will be converted into FC11 format

● Check if the project and document definition settings are correct

● Continue working with the project.
