• The H-Series MGR is equipped with a counter shaft T/M.

• These T/Ms have eight forward speeds and sixreverse speeds.

• These speeds are electronically controlled bythe electronic control module (ECM).







(1) T/M CONTRO L



Tran sm iss io n Oil Co o ler

• The T/M oil cooler is mounted next to the engineon the right side of the M/C.

• T/M oil cooler uses engine coolant in order tocool the T/M oil.

• The cooled oil is used for the T/M lubrication.

• Oil cooler relief valve setting is 520 kPa (75 psi).

• Supplies oil at a rate of 105 L/M at 2000 RPM.

• Conta ins :

-T/M scavenge pump which transfers oil

from T/M sump to differential sump.

-T/M charging pump which transfers oil from

differential sump to T/M filter.

(6) DIFFERENTIAL LO CK VALVE

• T/M control valve consists of one main relief

valve, one priority reducing valve, one manualmodulation valve, wiring harness, eight solenoidvalves, and eight modulating reducing valves.

• Provides the proper flows and pressures in order to engage the desired T/M clutches.

Main Relief Valve

• The main relief valve is located in the top frontquadrant of the inside valve body.

• It provides a restriction in the flow that sets theoutlet pressure of the T/M pump.

• Oil bypasses the main relief valve flows to T/Moil cooler line.

• Located at the top rear quadrant of the insidevalve body.

• Reduces the supply pressure to the selector valves and solenoids.

• Provides priority to the selector valves and to thesolenoids that are over the fill for T/M clutch or over the modulation for the T/M clutch.







Mod u lat io n Redu c in g Valve

•

Provides a unique pressure for each T/M clutchthrough different combinations of the springsand the orifices.







Solen o id Valves

• Solenoid valves connect pressurized oil from thepriority reducing valve to the correspondingselector spool.

• The differential is used to transfer power fromthe T/M output shaft to the final drives.

• The differential allows the rear wheels to turn atdifferent rates of speed.

• The differential allows the inside wheels to turnat a slower rate of speed than the outsidewheels when the M/C is turned.

• Allows the M/C wheels to turn at equal speed asif both tandem drives are being driven by thesame shaft.

• Differential lock control switch controls asolenoid activated hydraulic valve, that is held

open ( lock pos i tion ) or closed ( un lock pos i t ion ).• Differential lock control switch can be engaged

in any speed.

(6) DIFFERENTIAL LO CK VALVE





• The final drive is a planetary gear system thatincreases the torque to the wheels.

• The final drive also transfer torque to the wheels.

• Center shift function is to allow the armassembly and the circle to move in order toplace the blade in the correct position for the job.Center shift lock switch.Solenoid.
