SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract, CSIDC Form No.1, Clause 7, the Purchaser / DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. Such security deposit shall not ordinarily exceed 3% . The security shall be in form of Demand Drafts issued by any of the Scheduled Commercial Banks. No other form of security is to be accepted. 1. Submersible Pumps shall be supplied with : i) Non return Valve fitted at pump delivery ii) Discharge casing (Integral or separate) iii) Submersible cable with copper conductor of suitable size of minimum 3mtrs external length
with suitable guard. The cable shall be PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, weather Proof THREE CORE, flat type to IS: 694/1990 with admit. No. 1 & 2. (The size of the conductor shall be suitably selected so that the voltage drop at motor terminal does not exceed 3% of the rated voltage with 15 mtrs. Extended length of the cable).
iv) M.S. Clamps: Two numbers of M.S. Clamps, suitable for Submersible Pumps of 150 mm diameter tube wells, made from 10 mm thick M.S. Plate of 50 mm width, with suitable length and with suitable drill holes on each side, along with suitable nuts/bolts/washers.
2. The Motor Stator of Submersible Pump sets shall be easily rewirable. It shall be possible to rewind the motor with ready made pre-tested coils
3. The stator body shall be rigidly fitted and welded on the stamping assembly to prevent any rotation or shifting of stampings. Stator or bearing housings shall not have threaded joints and shall be located by slide fit and held together by suitable bolts.
4. The rotating elements of the Pump and motor shall be dynamically balanced at high speed. The
manufacturer shall have the facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed. Details in this regard shall be enclosed with the tender.
Tenderers to Note:
1. The Tenderers must give the standard leaflets/literature of each model 2. Offered with their quotation.
3. They must give the required details in respect of Model No., Specified duty Points
(Head/Discharge), Motor rating (in KW), Delivery size (in mm), No. of stages and Overall efficiency of the pumps against each item of the schedules otherwise their offer will be ignored.
4. The Tenderers must furnish type test report from a government lab. or conducted at their own
laboratory for maximum and minimum discharge rating pump sets of each item along with their offer. In addition, the concerned Technical Agency shall conduct type test on selected pump sets before acceptance of the first lot at the firm’s premises. The tenderness must confirm that they possess complete type test arrangement at their works.
5. The Tenderers shall declare material of construction of pump set with reference to clause 6.2 of IS: 8034-2002 with amdt. 1 with their offer.
6. On demand by the consignee, the rate contract holders shall provide full information as per clause 10 of the specification along with performance curves of each pump set.
7. The Tenderers shall submit a clear & legible copy of and valid BIS License complete in all respects, clearly indicating the model No. and its duty points like Head, Discharge, motor rating, overall efficiency, etc. with tolerances indicated in the governing ISS, without which the Tender is liable to be ignored.
8. The tendering unit shall quote rates only for those pumping sets for which they have valid BIS license for marking.
9. The latest version of the related specifications with amendments as on date of opening of the tender shall be applicable.
10. The manufacturer shall declare the value of efficiency of the motors above 15 KW. 11. Submersible Pump sets shall be pre-dispatch inspected by the area concerned Approved
Inspection Agency. 12. The Pump sets shall be guaranteed by the manufacturers against the defects in material &
workmanship under normal use and also shall provide after sales service. The pump sets shall also be guaranteed for satisfactory performance for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning & acceptance of the stores by the consignee
13. Deviations, if any, from the tender enquiry specification shall be listed out by the Tenderers. 14. The entire pump should have warrantee for 2 years against any Manufacturing Defect.

5. Submersible Pumps shall be supplied with : i) Non return Valve fitted at pump delivery ii) Discharge casing (Integral or separate) v) Submersible cable with copper conductor of suitable size of minimum 3mtrs external length
with suitable guard. The cable shall be PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, weather Proof THREE CORE, flat type to IS: 694/1990 with admit. No. 1 & 2. (The size of the conductor shall be suitably selected so that the voltage drop at motor terminal does not exceed 3% of the rated voltage with 15 mtrs. Extended length of the cable).
vi) M.S. Clamps: Two numbers of M.S. Clamps, suitable for Submersible Pumps of 150 mm diameter tube wells, made from 10 mm thick M.S. Plate of 50 mm width, with suitable length and with suitable drill holes on each side, along with suitable nuts/bolts/washers.
6. The Motor Stator of Submersible Pump sets shall be easily rewirable. It shall be possible to rewind the motor with ready made pre-tested coils
7. The stator body shall be rigidly fitted and welded on the stamping assembly to prevent any
rotation or shifting of stampings. Stator or bearing housings shall not have threaded joints and shall be located by slide fit and held together by suitable bolts.
8. The rotating elements of the Pump and motor shall be dynamically balanced at high speed. The
manufacturer shall have the facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed. Details in this regard shall be enclosed with the tender.
Tenderers to Note:
15. The Tenderers must give the standard leaflets/literature of each model 16. Offered with their quotation.
17. They must give the required details in respect of Model No., Specified duty Points
(Head/Discharge), Motor rating (in KW), Delivery size (in mm), No. of stages and Overall efficiency of the pumps against each item of the schedules otherwise their offer will be ignored.
18. The Tenderers must furnish type test report from a government lab. or conducted at their own
laboratory for maximum and minimum discharge rating pump sets of each item along with their offer. In addition, the concerned Technical Agency shall conduct type test on selected pump sets before acceptance of the first lot at the firm’s premises. The tenderness must confirm that they possess complete type test arrangement at their works.
19. The Tenderers shall declare material of construction of pump set with reference to clause 6.2 of IS: 8034-2002 with amdt. 1 with their offer.
20. On demand by the consignee, the rate contract holders shall provide full information as per clause 10 of the specification along with performance curves of each pump set.
21. The Tenderers shall submit a clear & legible copy of and valid BIS License complete in all respects, clearly indicating the model No. and its duty points like Head, Discharge, motor rating, overall efficiency, etc. with tolerances indicated in the governing ISS, without which the Tender is liable to be ignored.
22. The tendering unit shall quote rates only for those pumping sets for which they have valid BIS license for marking.
23. The latest version of the related specifications with amendments as on date of opening of the tender shall be applicable.
24. The manufacturer shall declare the value of efficiency of the motors above 15 KW. 25. Submersible Pump sets shall be pre-dispatch inspected by the area concerned Approved
Inspection Agency. 26. The Pump sets shall be guaranteed by the manufacturers against the defects in material &
workmanship under normal use and also shall provide after sales service. The pump sets shall also be guaranteed for satisfactory performance for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning & acceptance of the stores by the consignee
27. Deviations, if any, from the tender enquiry specification shall be listed out by the Tenderers. 28. The entire pump should have warrantee for 2 years against any Manufacturing Defect.

The Tenderers shall submit a clear & legible copy of and valid BIS License complete in all respects, clearly indicating the model No. and its duty points like Head, Discharge, motor rating, overall efficiency, etc. with tolerances indicated in the governing ISS, without which the Tender is liable to be ignored.
36. The tendering unit shall quote rates only for those pumping sets for which they have valid BIS license for marking.
37. The latest version of the related specifications with amendments as on date of opening of the tender shall be applicable.
38. The manufacturer shall declare the value of efficiency of the motors above 15 KW. 39. Submersible Pump sets shall be pre-dispatch inspected by the area concerned Approved
Inspection Agency. 40. The Pump sets shall be guaranteed by the manufacturers against the defects in material &
workmanship under normal use and also shall provide after sales service. The pump sets shall also be guaranteed for satisfactory performance for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning & acceptance of the stores by the consignee
41. Deviations, if any, from the tender enquiry specification shall be listed out by the Tenderers. 42. The entire pump should have warrantee for 2 years against any Manufacturing Defect.

with suitable guard. The cable shall be PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, weather Proof THREE CORE, flat type to IS: 694/1990 with admit. No. 1 & 2. (The size of the conductor shall be suitably selected so that the voltage drop at motor terminal does not exceed 3% of the rated voltage with 15 mtrs. Extended length of the cable).

14. The Motor Stator of Submersible Pump sets shall be easily rewirable. It shall be possible to rewind the motor with ready made pre-tested coils
15. The stator body shall be rigidly fitted and welded on the stamping assembly to prevent any rotation or shifting of stampings. Stator or bearing housings shall not have threaded joints and shall be located by slide fit and held together by suitable bolts.
16. The rotating elements of the Pump and motor shall be dynamically balanced at high speed. The
manufacturer shall have the facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed. Details in this regard shall be enclosed with the tender.

43. The Tenderers must give the standard leaflets/literature of each model 44. Offered with their quotation.
45. They must give the required details in respect of Model No., Specified duty Points
(Head/Discharge), Motor rating (in KW), Delivery size (in mm), No. of stages and Overall efficiency of the pumps against each item of the schedules otherwise their offer will be ignored.
46. The Tenderers must furnish type test report from a government lab. or conducted at their own
laboratory for maximum and minimum discharge rating pump sets of each item along with their offer. In addition, the concerned Technical Agency shall conduct type test on selected pump sets before acceptance of the first lot at the firm’s premises. The tenderness must confirm that they possess complete type test arrangement at their works.
47. The Tenderers shall declare material of construction of pump set with reference to clause 6.2 of IS: 8034-2002 with amdt. 1 with their offer.
48. On demand by the consignee, the rate contract holders shall provide full information as per clause 10 of the specification along with performance curves of each pump set.
49.
