Tusdeer Signs Labeling & Packaging Agreement with
NESTLÉ PURINA PETCARE
Tusdeer, Saudi Arabia’s first and largest bonded and re-export zone, signed an agreement with
Nestlé Saudi Arabia, allowing NESTLÉ PURINA PETCARE products to be custom labeled
and packaged to conform with the Kingdom’s regulations upon arrival at Jeddah Islamic Port.
“To date, the majority of global brands still utilize other regional ports as transit hubs to re-label or re-
package their products to conform to Saudi Arabian regulations, before transporting them by land or sea to
their final consumers in the Kingdom,” said Mr. Hemanth Prakash, Tusdeer Managing Director.
“Tusdeer is now offering companies an efficient and cost effective process to bring their goods into
Saudi Arabia, thanks to extensive support and cooperation from the Jeddah Islamic Port, and the Saudi
Customs Authority.”
Companies can now bring their products directly into the Kingdom through Tusdeer’s bonded and re-
export zone at the Jeddah Islamic Port, saving on handling and freight charges, with Tusdeer providing all
value added services including re-labeling, bundling, and re-packaging.
Also Mr. Ayman Barqawi, Tusdeer Executive director (Portfolio) Added “This ensures Tusdeer
becomes a strategic option as a regional logistics hub for global brands looking to expand in the
region,” Also “We are proud of the fact that this new offering contributes to further enhancing
supply chain efficiencies in the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for the logistics
sector in Saudi Arabia.”
