OUR PROCESS AND METHODOLOGY
Through a process of consultation with the client,
architect, and other consultants, Studio HBA will
assist in establishing the program scope and
design requirements.
Studio HBA will prepare for presentation
conceptual schematics inclusive of furniture,
fixture and equipment plans, and mood style
images from other projects, which will assist to
determine the design direction moving forward.
Upon approval of conceptual design, Studio HBA
will prepare all required design development
drawings. These drawings will describe design
intent sufficiently and will allow for preliminary
pricing and coordination with the other consultants.
Studio HBA can present 3D renders along with
key elevations and color boards in order to
convey the interior design to the client for final
approval.
Studio HBA will collaborate with any appointed
consultants according to the requirements of the
project.

PHASE 2D E S I G N D E V E LO P M E N T
Upon approval of design development, Studio HBA
will prepare all design documentation required for
the purpose of tender and construction.
Studio HBA will arrange all schedules and
corresponding documents for material
specifications of specialty items and finishes.
These documents and specifications will convey
the entire interior design intent and will be
incorporated into final documentation.
Studio HBA will choose and/or design all flooring,
textiles, accessories, lighting, furnishings and
fixtures. Furnishings that are specially designed
will be detailed completely.
Studio HBA can offer periodic visits to the project
site in order to ensure all work is carried out
according to the documentation. Studio HBA will
report the progress of the project and certify quality
control during each visit.
Studio HBA will assist the client to review the final
placement of furniture, furnishings and equipment
within the design service scope and
documentation.
Contractors’ consignments that relate to all items
within the interior design services scope will be
reviewed to assess compatibility with design intent.
Studio HBA can offer a defects report on when
construction and installation is completed.

Goa is a seamless whole created by succeeding
waves of settlers who came upon the haunting
beauty of red earth crisscrossed by rivers, bordered
by the Arabian Sea, a land fertile and salubrious,
where they camped, traded, planted, built, and
where each left an imprint to enrich its intrinsic
beauty and character...cultures from across the ghats
and beyond the seas have clearly contributed to... a
society that is cosmopolitan in its rootedness.
Humbled by the verdant landscape, glazed shutters
fold out into languid terraces to extend the suites
and immerse themselves in nature. Judicious use of
local materials such as laterite & timber embellish an
otherwise restrained material palette for the facade.

Regarded as one of the biggest industrial city in the
state of Haryana Faridabad is also a melting pot of
many cultures and its crafts. One in particular is
‘Phulkari’. It is a rich embroidery flower work of a
snawl. Woven on a coarse khaddar fabric with silk
and threads, the phulkari is a intricate craft of vibrant
colors, layers and textures.
Aesthetically the elements of such then evolve to
geometric patterns layers of screen with bold colors
that encapsulate the space, reminiscing the
discerning traveller of the city’s culture.

Inspired by nature to create a natural habitat, without

metaphor for the safe luxury of home from home. We

Abundance of forest in state of Karnataka, gives birth to many
distinct art and crafts to this southern state.
One in particular is art of wood carving: Karnatakan wood exhibits
several techniques, such as coating, lacquer, brightly colored craft
of wood-turned doll making and of course the uniquely, inlay work
by its local artisans.
Aesthetically, the elements of these techniques, evolve to rich
textures, layers and bold colors encapsulating the space,
reminiscing the guests of the state’s age old tradition. By infusing

Located in the residential neighbourhood of Andheri, this
private residence for a Mumbai developer is a penthouse
apartment spread over three floors with seven bedrooms, a
double height living room with dining, home theatre, spa and
private banqueting facilities.
Our designs for the residence emerged from close interactions
from the family members and understanding their individual
requirements and shared vision. A Warm & inviting palette of
materials and colors was developed for all the common areas
featuring customised local artwork with curated furniture. The
private areas for each member were thematically developed
based on their profile and personalities.
Care is taken to design areas that the family uses together such
as the informal living and entertainment zones. While the
residence is a testament to the successes of its owner through
its understated grandeur, it provides warmth and comfort of a
home to its occupants and guests.

We must live without borders to truly appreciate what the world has to
offer. Studio has created a hand- crafted sanctuary in the hills of Pune.
Seamlessly blending fine materials, we have designed a club that evokes a
sense of adventure and serenity. The reception is a perfect place to invoke
a sense of what is to come. Rich stone, gleaming metal and lush fabrics
echo the lifestyle of the user. Screens provide privacy yet an openness that
allows for bonhomie and an exchange of time and ideas.
In the spa, weathered timber screens line the corridor, water tumbles
through the space and soft lighting allows the guest to escape towards the
treatment rooms. Bricks and refined marble reminds the guest of their
basic need for a connection with nature. This need a reinforced by
nostalgic scents and sounds experienced in the meditation cave. Each
treatment room is glowing with purity and purpose. The clean materials
used persuade the guest that there is an intimate relationship is nurtured
during their stay and is glavanized by what all the senses experience.
