That may sound li6e a grandiose claim; an impressi)e statement one may write 2ust to sell 3oo6s or gra3 attention - - - 3ut what if it<s true= Is it possi3le that anancient code e"ists>a magical formula used 3y one of the greatest leaders of alltime> 3ut has 3een lost for thousands of years= Interestingly enough; many ofus are already familiar with it and ha)e read a3out the miracles that werereali?ed through its first applications>some of the most ama?ing e)ents inhistory- 9et few people are aware of the Code that acti)ated those miraculousoccurrences@ and when it<s applied; it can attract e)erything our hearts ha)e e)erdesired-

Why it was hidden and left unused for so long is one of the great mysteries ofthe ages- Howe)er; for the first time the Moses Code is 3eing shared withe)eryone; not 2ust a select group of high initiates- In this 3oo6; I<ll show youhow to use the Code to change your life- - - and e)en the world- The wondrouse)ents recorded in the i3le were a result of this process; and now you canharness its power to create miracles in your own life- 9ou can use it to attracte)erything you<)e e)er longed for>wealth; the perfect relationship; property;and so on- ut the more you e"perience the Moses Code; the more you<ll reali?ethat it<s meant for something much greater$ to inspire peace and create a world

3uilt on compassion and lo)e-

I first 3ecame aware of the Moses Code when I was writing my most recent 3oo6 The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking - Clues and hints rose to the surface as I

wrote; almost as if the secrets hidden from sight wanted to 3reathe fresh airagain- (r perhaps humanity was simply ready to see in a way that it wasn<tready to 3efore- When I reali?ed what I was loo6ing at; I 6new I had to conductan e"periment to disco)er for myself whether or not the Code was real-

When I was wor6ing on my pre)ious 3oo6; references to the name of od>IAM THAT I AM>repeatedly came up- I sensed the power in the name; 3ut Ihadn<t yet connected it to the Law of Attraction- It was only as I 3egan studyingand applying the name when it 3ecame apparent to me$ As the su3title of this

3oo6 suggests; it really is the most powerful manifestation tool in history-

Bp to that point; I<d written nine 3oo6s; and only one of them had e)er made itto The 0ew 9or6 Times 3estsellers list- The Proposing Tree de3uted at num3er%. and remained in that position for a wee6- I<m saying this 2ust to show you

that I<m not an author who<s en2oyed an enormous le)el of success- My first 3oo6; !missary of Light; sold )ery well o)er the course of many years; 3ut e)enit didn<t crac6 a single 3estseller list- This 3eing said; I 6new I<d found the

perfect test-

I<d decided that I would use the Moses Code to help ma6e The Art of /piritualPeacema6ing the num3er one 3est7selling 3oo6 in the world on the day it wasreleased- This would re uire a miracle; and these were ideal conditions for mye"periment-

*or se)eral months; I applied e)erything I learned a3out the Code- When I wo6eup in the morning; I meditated with it- I e)en printed a do?en or so copies of the

3oo6<s co)er so that I could practice the e"ercise throughout the day; pausingfor a few seconds and meditating upon my goal whene)er I saw a co)er postedon the walls in the 6itchen; 3edroom; and e)erywhere else in my house- I couldfeel the energy 3uilding; and new ideas were streaming into my mind a3out howI could reali?e my )ision of it 3eing the 3est7selling 3oo6 in the world-

The day finally arri)ed when my 3oo6 would 3e released- I logged on toAma?on-com and loo6ed at its current place- The day 3efore; it was ran6edsomewhere around 1:;:::; 3ut early that morning on Dune ; %:: ; it hadreached '::E It seemed that it was on its way up- y noon the 3oo6 was in thetop %:; and at ' o<cloc6 it sat at the num3er three position- (nly two moreclic6s to go; I thought- y . p-m- it was at num3er two- Almost there-

It sat at the num3er two position for hours-

It was e"cruciating- I chec6ed the ran6ing e)ery hour; 3ut it didn<t mo)e- I e)en

rationali?ed that the title currently in first place was a softco)er 3oo6; whichmeant that mine was the 3est7selling hardco)er 3oo6 in the world>3ut I 6newit wasn<t enough- When I used the Moses Code; I en)isioned it 3eing at the top;and I wasn<t going to compromise- It was going to get there@ I 2ust had to ha)efaith- -

At 8 o<cloc6; I too6 another loo6- Number one!

I<d li6e to say that I was surprised; 3ut 3y then I 6new it was real- The Moses

Code isn<t something I made up or e)en disco)ered>in many ways; it dis7co)ered me- &ecently; there<s 3een so much tal6 a3out the Law of Attraction

and how we can use it to reali?e our dreams; which usually means as6ing; FHowcan I attract all the things I don<t currently possess that will ma6e me happyonce I do=G I<m willing to admit that this is an important first step; 3ut I felt that

the Moses Code offered something that wasn<t immediately present in thisformula- In other words; is satisfying the hunger of the ego the real goal; or isthere something else within us; something far more significant; that<s fulfilled ina )ery different manner=

The Moses Code is a3out the ne"t; and much more )ital; step- How do wesatisfy the longing of our soul= The story of my 3oo6 3ecoming a num3er one

3estseller on the day it was released is a great e"ample of how we can use theCode to 3enefit our li)es- - - 3ut is this as far as we<re as6ed to go= Ha)e we

3een gi)en these sacred tools to simply manipulate reality for our own gain; orare we 3eing called to something higher; a purpose that matches the originalintent for the reason why this gift was offered to humanity in the first place=

Although I<ll discuss the differences 3etween the longing of the soul and thehunger of the ego later in the 3oo6; it may 3e helpful to say a few words here to

prime the pump- The ego is constantly concerned with trying to get what it 3elie)es it doesn<t ha)e; while the soul see6s to gi)e e)erything it needs;there3y reali?ing that those things were already present within-

This is the focus of the Moses Code; 2ust as it is the highest goal of the Law ofAttraction- The Code was first used to secure the freedom of the Israelites whowere ensla)ed in !gypt- 0ow it can 3e used to free you from the 3ondage ofyour ego- After all; where you li)e means )ery little if your mind and soul areoppressed- The purpose of this 3oo6 is to offer you the most powerful tool inthe history of the world for achie)ing true freedom- What is true freedom;e"actly= It<s simply the a3ility to e"press your i)inity in e)ery situation; ine)ery moment; and reali?e that you<re the creator of the Bni)erse youe"perience- The ego see6s to ensla)e while your soul; li6e Moses; wishes to set

you free-

Let me gi)e you one more e"ample of the power contained in this process- I<mwriting these words while sitting in a small caf near my home in Talent;(regon; immersing myself in the ideas and energy of the Moses Code- A fewmoments ago; I spent some time using the Code to accomplish a particular goal;which was to sell a house I own- I too6 a few deep 3reaths; felt the energy of thewords I chanted uietly to myself; and then let it go- !)en though I spent nomore than a few seconds focused in this way; I somehow 6new it would ha)e a

profound effect-

It is almost + P-M- on /aturday; nearly closing time for the caf - There are onlytwo other people in the room>a middle7aged couple seated at a ta3le a3out 1.feet away from me; tal6ing in low )oices while loo6ing at a newspaper- I feel

the urge to glance o)er and pay attention to their con)ersation@ apparently;they<re from Minnesota and are getting ready to relocate for a 2o3 at /outhern(regon Bni)ersity- I notice that they<re chec6ing out the real7estate section ofthe paper and discussing current listings of a)aila3le houses and townhomes-This is interesting; yes; 3ut it isn<t enough for me to lose focus- After all; I<mattempting to write while I<m here- My manuscript is due to my pu3lisher HayHouse in two days; and there is still some more wor6 to 3e done-

I turn 3ac6 to the computer in front of me and type in the words Moses Code-The instant they appear on the screen; I feel something tug at my heart$ Tellthem about the house you’ve been wanting to sell - The house in uestion iscurrently 3eing rented; and although I<d thought a3out putting it on the mar6et; Istill ha)en<t ta6en action- espite this inner urging; I feel li6e it would 3e rudeto interrupt or e)en 3egin a con)ersation with the couple since they<re so clearly

preoccupied- ut the feeling is persistent and increases until I finally say hello-

0o more than 1. minutes later; we made a deal contingent on them lo)ing thehouse I had to offer- I 6new they would since it was e"actly what they wereloo6ing for and could 3e sold for e"actly the amount they had in mind- TheMoses Code is indeed the most powerful manifestation tool in the history of theworldE

/ometimes e)en I need to 3e reminded-

PART I The Law of Attraction

A lot has 3een said a3out the Law of Attraction in recent years- Peoplee)erywhere are 3eginning to reali?e that they ha)e the power to attracte)erything they desire- Actually; it would 3e more accurate to say that they<restarting to understand that they<)e always had this a3ility- The Law ofAttraction isn<t something that we practice some of the time@ there<s no way toa)oid li)ing 3y this i)ine principle-

This 3oo6 will pro)ide you with an ancient techni ue that has e"isted in theworld for more than ';.:: years 3ut was hidden away long ago 3ecauseauthorities decided it was too powerful to 3e ar3itrarily wielded- They were

pro3a3ly right- Whether we<re spiritually mature enough to do so now remainsto 3e seen; 3ut one thing I<m confident of is that we don<t ha)e much of achoice- The world is sitting on a critical precipice; and the decisions we ma6ea3out how we will or won<t implement this wisdom may mean the difference

3etween e)ol)ing to the ne"t le)el of achie)ement or complete destruction- Thechoice; it seems; is ours-

This may not 3e the most important 3oo6 in history; 3ut I 3elie)e that the principles and techni ues presented within it are crucial- When the Moses Codewas first re)ealed to the Israelites; some of the greatest miracles in history were

performed- /hortly afterward; influential leaders decreed that the inherentenergy was simply too )ast and potentially dangerous to 3e used 3y anyoneother than the highest initiates-

(ur collecti)e religious history is littered with legends and stories of spiritualmasters who e)ol)ed to the point where they not only understood the MosesCode 3ut were also a3le to practice it and achie)e e"traordinary results- Chiefamong the practitioners was Desus of 0a?areth- It<s now time for all of us to

master the Code as well>not 2ust to add riches to our li)es; 3ut to create aworld 3ased upon the laws of compassion and peace- If we continue to use thisremar6a3le tool simply for our own gain; then we<ll 3e lost-

This may sound ominous; and that is; indeed; the intention- 9ou<re 3eingoffered the most powerful tool in history for creating your reality- This isn<t a

0ew Age fairy tale@ it<s real and true- We need enlightened souls to finallymanifest the world of our dreams- It<s easy to loo6 at the earth and see thede)astation of unconscious manifestation- (ur planet didn<t arri)e at the 3rin6

of such terror on its own 3ut through our collecti)e decisions- The uestion nowis simply$ Will we choose this again; or will we finally and resolutely decide to

follow the call of the soul rather than the pandering of the ego= Whate)er wegenuinely feel; the world and e)erything in it will transform in order to matchthat 3elief-

9ou ha)e an essential and indi)idual role to play; and that<s why this 3oo6 hasfound you-

Part I of The Moses Code discusses the story of Moses and the 3asic spiritualma6eup of the Code- Then the tone changes dramatically; emphasi?ing onceagain the importance of your choice to create and consciously e)ol)e-

*or now; rela" and en2oy - - - you<re a3out to go on a 2ourney that will changeyour lifeE

Chapter One A STORY FOR THE AGES

9ou<)e pro3a3ly heard the story of Moses leading the Israelites out of !gypt; anastounding accomplishment that 3egan with him standing 3efore a 3urning 3ushlistening to the )oice of od- ut ha)e we e)er really heard the deeper message

3eing communicated; not only to Moses 3ut to each one of us= Is it possi3le thata code is hidden within this story>a secret that gi)es us the a3ility to attracte)erything we desire into our li)es= Could this 3e the most powerful gift odhas e)er 3estowed upon the world=

What are some of the things you most want to attract= o you wish fora3undance; your soul mate; the perfect house; or your dream car=

id Moses recei)e this cryptic message from od; and did od intend for us toalso unco)er the 6ey to reali?ing all our dreams; easily and automatically;drawing into our li)es e)erything we<)e e)er as6ed for=

If so; is it possi3le for you to use this same secret today and for the rest of yourlife; achie)ing what the rest of the world would call miraculous=

Welcome to the Moses CodeE

Let<s 3egin 3y re)isiting the story; setting the conte"t for us to finallycomprehend the most spectacular secret e)er concealed from humanity-

We<re told that Moses was 3orn an Israelite sla)e in !gypt; 3ut due to either profound luc6 or i)ine Inter)ention; he was raised a prince among hisoppressors- According to a law set forth 3y the Pharaoh; e)ery male child 3ornto Israelite sla)es was to 3e drowned in the 0ile- Doche3ed; the wife of Amram;

a Le)ite; ga)e 3irth to a son and 6ept him hidden for three months- Howe)er;when she reali?ed that he<d soon 3e disco)ered and 6illed; she set her infant sonadrift on the 0ile in a small craft made from 3ulrushes coated in pitch- A shortdistance down the ri)er; the Pharaoh<s daughter found the 3a3y and adoptedhim as her son- /he named him Moses; meaning Fto draw out-G

Here<s an interesting side note to our story$ Moses<s sister Miriam watched the 3oat as it floated along the 0ile toward the city; then to the royal palace- Whenshe saw the Pharaoh<s daughter rescue the child; Miriam approached her and

as6ed if she<d li6e an Israelite woman to nurse the infant- /he suggestedDoche3ed>Moses<s real mother>and she raised him to 3e the adopted

grandson of the Pharaoh- *rom the 3eginning; Moses had his feet in twoseparate worlds and had two distinct mothers with )ery different dreams-

The story continues when Moses is a man; a 3ra)e leader of the !gyptianempire- ut one day; something happens that fore)er changes his life- Moses isamong the sla)es when he sees an !gyptian soldier mistreating an Israelite man-(utraged at this a3use; Moses 6ills the soldier and hides the 3ody in the sand;hoping no one will e)er disco)er his crime@ howe)er; he soon learns that hissecret has spread throughout the ran6s of the sla)es- *earing that hisgrandfather; the Pharaoh; will 3e informed of his deed and ha)e him put todeath; Moses escapes to the /inai Peninsula and finds refuge with Dethro; a

priest from Midian- Moses ultimately marries Dethro<s daughter Jipporah; andhe stays there with them for +: years-

0ow we<)e arri)ed at the pi)otal moment when the great mystery of creationwas re)ealed to humanity; only to 3e hidden away upon the first demonstrationof its enormous power- It was one of the )ery first con)ersations with od; acon)ersation that changed the world- The time has finally come for each one ofus to e"perience and em3race it-

(ne day as he was leading his floc6 up Mount Hore3; Moses saw a 3ush that 3urned with a 3right fire; yet the fire didn<t consume it- He turned to loo6 at themar)elous sight; and od spo6e to him-

What did od say to Moses=

These words ha)e 3een shared and lo)ed 3y 3illions of people throughout theworld for almost ';.:: years- id anyone reali?e that this was one of thegreatest gifts od had e)er gi)en to humanity; for the secret to creating miracleswas re)ealed= Kery soon you<ll 3e among the first to understand the MosesCode and apply this ama?ing techni ue in your own life; 3ut only if you choose

to em3race it yourself-

Let<s e"amine some of the passages from the 3oo6 of !"odus that descri3e thiscon)ersation with od- It 3egins 3y saying$

God called to him from the bush and said "oses "oses#$ And "oses said %ere & Am# '() *+,-

Pay close attention to Moses<s reaction upon hearing od<s )oice streaming

from the fiery 3ush- He doesn<t run away in fear- He also doesn<t fall to theground; saying; FWhy are you spea6ing to me= on<t you 6now I<m not worthy

1:

of this=G Instead; Moses turns toward the 3ush and says; FHere I am-G This mayseem li6e an innocuous response; 3ut if we loo6 a little deeper; we reali?e thatit<s far more significant- Howe)er; it<s impossi3le to understand the impact of

his statement until we continue a little further in our con)ersation-Hearing Moses<s response; it<s almost as if od is pleased- od then says tohim$

.o not draw away# Take your shoes from your feet for the place where you stand is holy ground# '() *+/-

Why is this place holy= The o3)ious answer is 3ecause it<s the spot where odhas 3ecome manifest and 6nown in the world- od<s presence is 3einge"perienced through an ordinary 3ush on a mountainous ridge- And the fact thatthis )ery same 3ush is 3urning with a fire that doesn<t consume it is certainlymiraculous- It ma6es this ordinary moment uite e"traordinary-

ut is there another possi3ility for why this ground is so holy=

od clearly understands od- This is something we can all agree upon sinceod is omnipotent and omnipresent- Therefore; if od 6nows itself to 3e in all

places at all times; would the Creator single out one place a3o)e all others asholy 2ust 3ecause od<s presence is 3eing e"perienced there 3y one particularman= Is it not the will of od to 3e seen and felt in all places and in each

person= *rom od<s perspecti)e; all places are holy 3ecause od ise)erywhere- This means that the Creator is unli6ely to identify one physicallocation as more 3lessed than another- We may do this; 3ut od wouldn<t

3ecause it would 3e the same as limiting what<s limitless-

The greatest difficulty of our humanness is that we<re una3le to )iew ore"perience od in all places at all times>our minds simply can<t concei)e

anything so )ast- ut does the i)ine also share this limitation= If so; then odwould 3e as restricted as we are; una3le to 6now itself as &tself -

Is it possi3le that when od as6ed Moses to ta6e off his shoes; od wasspea6ing much more intimately than we first guessed= Moses said to od;FHere I Am-G It<s almost as if od smiles at him and says; FAh; well said;Moses@ indeed; here I Am- This ground is holy 3ecause it<s the spot where youha)e 6nown yourself to 3e who you are-G

9ou may 3e thin6ing$ Wait a minuteE Are you saying that od was pleased 3ecause Moses seemed to recogni?e himself as one with his Creator=

The answer is yesE*or thousands of years; we<)e 3een sold a lie; and this has led to the suppressionand dismissal of the Moses Code throughout the world- We<)e 3een told thatwe<re wea6 and )ulnera3le; una3le to do little more than e6e out a meagere"istence on !arth- If we<re luc6y; we<re a3le to accumulate a relati)e degree ofcomfort; may3e e)en own a few houses and 3uild a 3ig 3an6 account; 3ut noneof that will really e)er satisfy us- (ur purpose is to li)e and then die; hopefullywith a few moments of 2oy in 3etween- We<)e imagined oursel)es in a prisonfrom which we can ne)er escape; and we<)e con)inced oursel)es that this is ourreal home-

ut what if the door to that prison cell was ne)er loc6ed= What if the world weli)e in is nothing more than a pro2ection of our thoughts a3out oursel)es; andod has ne)er shared that )ision at all= If od is all7powerful; all76nowing; andfully present in e)ery moment; is it possi3le that the Creator would re2oice whenwe reali?e the Truth=

Hold on 3efore you answer- 9our response will determine your entiree"perience of life and how willing you are to accept e)erything that od intendsfor you- 9our answer will determine how open you are to recei)ing miracles;and ultimately; crac6ing the Moses Code-

Let<s continue with the con)ersation 3etween Moses and od- od says to him$

& am come down to deliver them &sraelites out of the hand of the (gyptians andto bring them out of that land unto a good land # # flowing with milk and honey#'() *+0-

od is ma6ing a great promise to Moses$ granting the Israelites a passage out of!gypt and into a new home where they<ll 3e a3undant and free to li)e as they

please- (nce again; let<s loo6 to the nature of od and decide if the rest of usare included in this promise- If od is in all places at all times; then this could

3e more than a historical decree that was made to one particular indi)idual orgroup to the e"clusion of the rest- Is it possi3le that od<s )ow is made to e)ery

person who listens; meaning it<s 3eing made to you right now= If you<re willingto listen and 3elie)e; then you<ll disco)er; 2ust as Moses did; that od ne)er

3rea6s a promise to anyone- If this is true; you<re 3eing led to the same land

flowing with mil6 and honey>in other words; the place where your dreams 3ecome reality-

od is telling Moses that he<ll lead the Israelites out of 3ondage into thePromised Land- In this place; we<re told; Moses and his followers will ha)ee)erything they need; and nothing will he denied them- Why= ecause they arethe chosen children of the Creator; worthy of all goodness and 3lessings- Mostgenerations 3elie)ed that this was a gift reser)ed for specific people theIsraelitesN- And according to this 3elief; od fa)ors one group o)er another andis therefore willing to offer the Fchosen onesG something that the rest can<trecei)e-

ut is this really true= od says; FI am come down to deli)er them out of thehand of the !gyptiansG and into the land of the FCanaanites; and the Hittites;and the Amorites; and the Peri??ites; and the Hi)ites; and the 2ehusites-G Inother words; there are lots of other groups already there- Perhaps these peoplene)er left the promised land; or they were a3le to use the Code to arri)e thereearlier- All we 6now for sure is that od<s will is for them to 3e free; and thiscan<t 3e reser)ed for a single group of indi)iduals- *reedom is meant fore)eryone; as is the land o)erflowing with a3undance-

In the end; Moses is really no different from any of us- *aced with such ane"traordinary gift; most would fall into the ego pattern that has ruled our li)esfor so long$ fear -

9our ego; otherwise 6nown as the part of you that percei)es itself to 3e separatefrom od and e)erything else; 3elie)es that you don<t deser)e anything;especially not the fulfillment of your greatest dreams- A well76nown acronymfor the ego is !dging od (ut- How can we edge out the Creati)e *orce of theentire Bni)erse and still ha)e what our soul most longs for= The ego forces usto fall 3ac6ward and play it safe and ne)er comprehend the infinite potential

that lies within- Li6e Moses; we say to od$

And now we come to the critical uestion and answer that the entire MosesCode is 3ased upon- od has gi)en Moses a tas6; one that seems impossi3le- Infact; od e)en tells Moses that the Pharaoh will ne)er listen to him or consider

honoring his demand; which doesn<t seem to surprise Moses- After all; theIsraelites were responsi3le for 3uilding half of !gypt- Without their forcedla3or; the Pharaoh wouldn<t 3e a3le to construct his )ast temples or moderncities- In short; without Moses<s people the Pharaoh would 3e lost; and hewouldn<t ta6e this loss lightly- Moses needed something more>something totell the Pharaoh and his own people>that would con)ince them that this wasthe will of the (ne od-

And "oses said unto God 1hen & come unto the children of &srael and say tothem 4the God of your fathers has sent me to you’ and they say to me 41hat ishis name2’ 1hat shall & say to them2$ '() *+3*-

A name has great power- It not only identifies people and separates them fromothers; 3ut in many cultures; it defines who they are>that is; a name 3ears theessence of the indi)idual- When Moses as6s what name to gi)e his people sothat they may 3elie)e he<s telling the truth; it<s a )ery 3ig re uest- It must 3e aname that incites passion and dedication@ it also must 3e worthy of the Creatorof all things; the single /ource of life in the entire Bni)erse- What 6ind of namecan encompass the power and ma2esty of such a 3eing; as well as contain themagic and mystery that od deser)es=

Chapter Two A GIFT FROM GOD

Are you ready to ha)e the same con)ersation with od that Moses en2oyed= Iassure you that it<s the 6ey to recei)ing e)erything in the world that you<reentitled to- 9ou thought you deser)ed lac6; sic6ness; and ultimately; death-Why else would you 3e e"periencing these things if you didn<t want them=

This may 3e the hardest concept you<ll e)er ha)e to admit$ the idea that you<)ecreated e)erything in your life; including what doesn<t ser)e you well-

(nce you do accept it; though; you<ll also 3e a3le to accept happiness;a3undance; and perfect 3alance- That<s why you<re hereE It<s the reason whyyou opened this 3oo6- - - nothing else will satisfy you now-

It<s time to throw open the steel door that has 6ept you apart from your heart<sdesire- The Moses Code is a3out to 3e unloc6ed; 3ut I<d 3e remiss if I didn<t

pro)ide you with the following warning$ (nce you open this door; it can ne)er 3e shut- 9ou<ll 6now too much once you<)e 3een e"posed to this secret; andyou<ll ne)er 3e a3le to fall 3ac6 into ignorance again- *rom this moment on;you<ll reali?e that you ha)e the 6ey to e)erything you could e)er dream of- Ifyou choose not to use this gift; then it will 3e no one<s decision 3ut your own-

Also 3e aware that this tool you<re a3out to 3e gi)en is far more powerful thanyour mind can possi3ly comprehend- The words may seem simple; 3ut theyunloc6 a source of energy that created e)erything you percei)e- LiterallyE 9ouwere created 3y od; and therefore; you possess all the ualities of od; 2ust asyou possess the genetic information of your earthly parents and ancestors- Ascientist can e"plore a person<s 0A and determine who his or her children are

>and this same idea applies to od- 9ou<re a3out to e"plore a code that<s 3eenloc6ed inside your soul@ and in doing so; you<ll disco)er that you<re the child of

the i)ine; possessing the same power to create as od-

When Moses as6ed for od<s name; he was gi)en what may at first seem li6e acryptic statement- It wasn<t a normal name od offered 3ut an assertionindicating a presence; transcending ordinary definitions- od said; FI AMTHAT I AM;G then commanded Moses to tell the people that FI AM has sentme to you-G This seems to sol)e the argument of the day$ Are there many gods;

as the !gyptians 3elie)ed; or only one od; which was the foundation of theHe3rew faith=

This wasn<t the first time such ideas were presented in !gypt- *rom around1'4. to 1'.5 -C-; the Pharaoh A6henaton; who re2ected the old gods and

initiated a monotheistic worship of the sun god Aton; ruled the country- /inceMoses is usually regarded to ha)e li)ed no earlier than 1':: -C-; it<s clear thatthe !gyptians had already endured at least one attempt to institute a society 3uiltupon the 3elief in one /upreme eing-

The statement; or name; FI AM THAT I AMG tells the He3rews and !gyptiansthat od does indeed e"ist; and there<s )ia3le power in saying the name- Moseshas apparently 3een gi)en more influence than e)en A3raham; the father ofthree great monotheistic religions; 3ecause he<s aware of od<s name whileA3raham isn<t- In the si"th chapter of the 3oo6 of !"odus; od tells Moses thatA3raham was ne)er gi)en the name e)en though the Creator appeared to him-With this name; Moses confronts the most powerful ruler in the world andcompels him to release e)ery He3rew sla)e in !gypt- What was it that finallycompelled the Pharaoh to commit such an unli6ely act=

Mirac e!"

O Part the &ed /ea and destroy the pursuing !gyptian army

This is more than enough e)idence to create a strong impression on anyone- Inthe end; Moses and the He3rews were left alone to follow their destiny- - findingthe promised land-

And now you<ll use the name of od 2ust as Moses did in order to reali?e yourgreatest dreams- The process you<re a3out to learn will align your power withthe Power of od; gi)ing you the authority to draw into your life anything you

desire- Authority>that<s the 6ey; for without proper authority; the cosmic andelemental energies lie dormant 3efore you- Howe)er; when the name and

Moses Code wor6s- It<s as if you<re finally acting upon the 6nowingness ofyour soul instead of your mind; which is at 3est confused a3out e)erything it

percei)es- It sees e)erything as separate and alone; whereas your soul )iews

e)erything as intimately connected to its source-When you inhale; saying FI AM;G imagine that this is od<s response to you;claiming and accepting the thing you desire to draw into your life- 9ou say tood$ FI AM THAT;G and od answers$ FI AM-G The name of od now comesfull circle and easily draws the thing you<re focused on into your life-

Pay close attention to this ne"t part of the e"planation- If you can understand it;e)en with the limitations of our limited minds; you<ll reali?e the power of usingthe name of od to manifest your desires- When you say FI AM THAT;G tood; od doesn<t answer you; saying F9ou are-G The Creator replies; FI AM-GIn other words; od is saying through you$ FIf you claim it; then I claim it; too;for we are oneEG FI AM THAT I AMG now 3ecomes a single statement ratherthan two- It is od spea6ing to od; and od answering od- And Qwhat wouldod gi)e itself= !)erythingE

0ow you understand the 3eginning le)el>the first form of the Moses Code- Asyou practice it and e"perience the results; you<ll ha)e direct 6nowledge of the

power of od<s name; 2ust as Moses and the Israelites did- The miracles thatwill naturally occur in your life will reflect the greatest ones that humanity hase)er 6nown- Will they 3e as distinguished as the parting of the &ed /ea= (fcourse; 3ecause to od; a small miracle is e ual to one that changes the world-They<re no different 3ecause eternity isn<t concerned with concepts such as 3igor little>only the mind is interested in that; and the Moses Code leads youaway from the mind and into your soul-

I said earlier that it<s important for you to feel as if the thing you<re as6ing for is

already yours- This is one of the most )ital aspects of the Moses Code- od willalways gi)e you e"actly what you want in life- Bnfortunately; we often as6 forthe things we don<t want; and they<re gi)en to us 3ecause that<s what we<rereally as6ing for- In other words; if you feel that something isn<t yours or thatsomething is 3eyond your reach; you won<t recei)e it>your heart<s desireremains outside your grasp- 9our feelings are the 6ey to drawing what you wishfor into your life- i)ine !nergy flows in the direction that you design- If youfeel that you don<t ha)e something; then it is the not having that the energyresponds to- If you feel that you already ha)e the thing that you<re as6ing for;

then od responds accordingly-

Chapter Three RAMSES THE GREAT

How was Moses; elderly and altogether forgotten; a3le to stand 3efore the most powerful man in the world and compel him to free the Israelites from 3ondage=Is there a difference 3etween the worldly force wielded 3y the Pharaoh and thei)ine !nergy that Moses was a3le to generate 3y using the name of od=

Let<s remem3er that Moses>a formerly well7respected mem3er of the royalfamily in !gypt>was forced into e"ile and had 3een tending sheep for +:years- If he was around %: years old when he was 3anished; he would ha)e 3een: 3y the time his encounter with the 3urning 3ush too6 place- That doesn<tseem )ery old from our perspecti)e; 3ut in the time of Moses; reaching that agewas almost unheard of- The a)erage life span of a male was appro"imately +: to+. years- Ta6ing that into consideration; Moses would ha)e 3een around 8: 3ytoday<s standards> clearly not possessing a great deal of worldly acumen orinfluence-

(n the other hand; the Pharaoh en2oyed all the power of the 6nown world- It<shard to imagine what it would ha)e 3een li6e to rule a country li6e !gypt at thistime; 3ut suffice it to say that his dominance is legendary- Many of the mostinno)ati)e architectural achie)ements in history are attri3uted to this era; andthe Pharaoh &amses was the 6ing of 6ings-

Let<s ta6e a deeper loo6 at this significant character in this drama- -

&amses Il or &amses the reatN is often regarded as !gypt<s greatest ruler- Hewas responsi3le for constructing some of the most ela3orate cities and templesin the region; as well as leading his army to spectacular )ictories; esta3lishingthe !gyptian empire as the most powerful force on !arth- He was 3orn around

1':% -C- and is 3elie)ed to ha)e ta6en the throne sometime in his early %:s;ruling from 1%48 to 1%1' -C-; a total of years and two months- /ome claimthat he li)ed 88 years; 3ut it<s more li6ely that he died around the age of 8: or81- This would mean that &amses 6new Moses personally when he still li)edamong the royal family; although it<s unclear if he was aware of Moses<s Israel7ite roots-

&amses the reat accomplished many things in his life@ more than ';::: yearslater; he<s regarded as one of the most prolific rulers of all time- His focus

3efore the 3attle of adesh the war that ultimately secured his commandN was 3uilding temples; monuments; and cities- He constructed the city of Pi7&amesse

in the 0ile elta as his new capital and main 3ase for the Hittite war- The city;which was esta3lished to honor his eminence; was situated on the remains ofA)aris; the capital of the Hy6sos- This is also where the Temple of /et was

located- Pi7&amesse was a sacred city for &amses 3ecause it<s where hesupposedly harnessed the energy of the deities /et; Horus; &a; Amun@ and hisfather; /eti-

In other words; &amses was im3ued with the power of the gods; a uality thatsurely aroused the interest and contempt of the Israelites with their monotheisticreligion- ut regardless of these disputes; the 6ing had ascended to a godli6estature and was the )ery essence of authority and might-

It<s easy to imagine what &amses must ha)e thought when Moses first enteredhis la)ish and stately palace- id he recogni?e him>perhaps a distant memoryfrom his own childhood= id he remem3er Moses<s fall from grace and flight tosafety; ne)er to 3e heard from again- - - at least until that moment- All we 6nowfor sure is that &amses wasn<t at all impressed; for it was clear who was incommand- Moses undou3tedly arri)ed in the garments of a wandering shepherd;while &amses was attired li6e a god- Moses may ha)e stood for the Israelites;

3ut they were sla)es whose sole importance lay in their strong 3ac6s- ThePharaoh represented e)erything that was ci)ili?ed and good in the world>theem3odiment of worldly stature and power- Moses; it seemed; didn<t stand achance against him-

ut that isn<t how things turned outE

Moses was most li6ely as unsure of himself as &amses was confident- As theshepherd entered the room to face the Pharaoh; he pro3a3ly wondered not onlyif his people<s dream of freedom was a3out to end; 3ut if his own life was a3outto 3e e"tinguished as well- His initial escape from !gypt secured his continuede"istence; 3ut now after many decades; he<d 3een commissioned 3y od to

return and face a different 6ind of music- The Pharaoh<s ma2esty would ha)emade Moses<s chosen simplicity seem naR)e and unsophisticated; whichwouldn<t ha)e fared him well-

ut there<s another possi3ility to this scenario- The fact that Moses finally diddecide to follow through on od<s re uest may ha)e signified that he wascertain of his ultimate )ictory- od told him that using the /acred 0ame wouldgi)e him authority and power; and it seems that Moses was con)inced- Is it

possi3le that Moses had e"perimented with the Code 3efore ma6ing the

2ourney= If he<d done so and witnessed for himself the creati)e force inherent inod<s name; then he<d ha)e stood 3efore &amses empowered and confident-

How would the Pharaoh ha)e reacted to such self7assurance= The fact thatMoses wasn<t immediately punished or 6illed illustrates that &amses chose to

entertain him at least for a little while- His command eclipsed Moses to such adegree that he might ha)e 3een somewhat curious- &amses would reser)e theright to change his decision; putting Moses and the Israelites 3ac6 in their placeas soon as his curiosity wore thin; which is; in fact; e"actly what happened-

Moses 3egan 3y as6ing &amses to grant the Israelites a reprie)e from theirwor6; allowing them to go into the desert for three days to ma6e sacrifices tood- &amses was apparently astounded 3y the re uest and did the opposite-Bntil then the !gyptians had 3een pro)iding the Israelites with enough straw toma6e the 3ric6s for construction- &amses>in order to show Moses who wasreally in charge>forced them to gather their own straw; there3y dou3ling theirwor6-

ut Moses 6ept coming 3ac6; insisting that od<s wishes 3e fulfilled- It wasnow time to pro)e once and for all that the Pharaoh<s reign and the will of odwere on a collision course - - - and the 6ing would surely lose-

If this were a Western; this would 3e the point where the showdown ta6es place-Moses had 3een practicing his manifestation techni ues; learning how to turnhis staff into a sna6e and turn water into 3lood; as well as other strange and

phenomenal demonstrations of power- ut this was happening at a time whenmagic and magicians were a great resource; especially for a ruler of &amses<stature- When he was finally in front of the Pharaoh; Moses threw down hisstaff and it 3egan writhing upon the ground- The Pharaoh<s magician performedthe same transformation; 3ut Moses had the upper hand- The sna6e representingod<s emissary ate the Pharaoh<s sna6e; and the contest was on-

Although &amses< magicians were a3le to duplicate some of the miracles

Moses manifested; it<s clear that they weren<t winning the competition- A seriesof plagues then descended upon !gypt; apparently at the 3ehest of Moses usingthe power of od<s name-

As recorded in the 3oo6 of !"odus; the miraculous occurrences included thefollowing$

Here<s an e"ample of one such e"periment- In 1888; the B-/- and its allies wereon the 3rin6 of war with Ira - /addam Hussein had forced the Bnited 0ationsinspectors out of the country; and there didn<t seem to 3e any way to a)oid aninternational conflict- regg; oreen; and I were spea6ing at a conference in*lorida on 0o)em3er 1'@ and we decided to announce a worldwide meditation;

praying peace into that tenuous and dangerous situation-

!7mails were sent through many online communities; and 3y the time themoment of the )igil arri)ed; hundreds of thousands of people from around theworld were 2oining us- We were onstage together leading the prayer; which was

3eing 3roadcast o)er the Internet; and we could feel the energy- I remem3erthin6ing that it was FrainingG peace; 3ut it wasn<t until the ne"t morning that wereali?ed 2ust how powerful the effect had 3een in Ira -

According to the morning news; President Clinton had decided to 3egin the

3om3ing campaign the e)ening we were engaged in prayer@ in fact; fighter 2etshad 3een deployed and were waiting for their final orders- ut precious time

passed as the pilots wondered a3out the delay- Then to the astonishment ofe)eryone in)ol)ed; Clinton ordered the 2ets 3ac6 to their ships- /ome momentslater; as if reconsidering the command; the 2ets were sent 3ac6 into position-(nce again; the Fgo7aheadG to drop the 3om3s ne)er came; and the 2ets returnedwith their weapons cache still filled- A stand7down order had 3een gi)en; 3ut noone really 6new why-

oes it ama?e you to 6now that this happened at the same time as hundreds ofthousands of people were focusing on peace for that region= Hopefully it

The Moses Code is in our 3odies and our minds- !)ery cell sings the same song;

the song of creation; and e)ery heart 3eats to the rhythm of that melody- It<s anenergy that transcends anything our minds can comprehend and unites us withelemental forces that e)ade the intellect- The most learned scholars on !arthwill ne)er 3e a3le to dissect the comple"ity of this secret; yet the most innocentamong us resonate with it already- It is who we are; and when we unloc6 theCode; we<re really unloc6ing the deepest part of our own nature-

/o how do we tap into the Moses Code within us=

If the name of od is within our )ery 0A; it stands to reason that it<s theactual foundation of our li)es- od<s name; then; creates a resonance patternthat when acti)ated aligns us with anything we desire>no matter how large orsmall- As I mentioned earlier; A 6ourse in "iracles says that there<s no degreeof difficulty in creating miracles- In other words; a 3ig miracle is no moredifficult to create than a small one 3ecause they operate according to the samelaws- (nce we understand these laws and apply them; wondrous happeningswill naturally occur on their own-

This means that there<s no limit to what you can achie)eE It doesn<t matter howmuch a3undance you en)ision; how happy you want to 3e; what 6ind of car youwant to dri)e; what style of house you want to li)e in; or what type ofrelationship you want to en2oy…if you understand and apply the secret foundwithin the Moses Code; attaining all your goals will 3e no harder thanmanifesting %:-

In essence; unloc6ing the Code means entering into the same con)ersation withod as Moses did- The fact is that we<re engaged in this dialogue e)ery momentof our li)es- We sometimes call this prayer; 3ut for most of us; our concept of

praying is )ery limited- In reality; howe)er; e)ery thought is a prayer thatcreates a magnetic attraction; pulling whate)er we<re thin6ing a3out into ourli)es-

Bnfortunately; we tend to thin6 of prayer as as6ing for something we want 3ased on what we thin6 we need or don<t already ha)e- If we pray and don<trecei)e what we want; then our prayers of petition sometimes turn into prayersof coercion-

The Re, 2i3e

There was once a young 3oy who heard a3out using prayer to attain whathe wished for- His parents told him that if he as6ed Desus for what hewanted with enough con)iction; then Desus would surely gi)e it to him-That night; the 3oy 6nelt down at the side of his 3ed to pray-

F ear Desus; I really want a new red 3i6e- My mother told me that if I pray hard enough; you<ll gi)e it to me- Please gi)e me a new 3i6e-G

The ne"t morning he wo6e up to find there was no 3i6e- That night; he6nelt down again to pray-

F ear Desus; I really want that new 3i6e; and I 3elie)e that you<ll gi)e itto me if I pray hard enough- Please gi)e me a new 3i6eEG

The ne"t morning; once again; there was no 3i6e waiting for him-

The 3oy was ma6ing final preparations for school when he passed themantel where a statue of the lessed Mother was resting- He found a

piece of rope; too6 the statue from the mantel; and wrapped the ropearound it- Then he put it in his 3ac6pac6- When he arri)ed at school; heopened his loc6er; placed the statue inside; and loc6ed the door-

That night 3efore getting into 3ed; the 3oy 6nelt down to pray once more-

F ear Desus; if you e)er want to see your mother again…

The point is that the moment petition no longer wor6s; we immediately turn to

coercion$ If I can<t tal6 od into gi)ing me what I want; may3e I can force theissue-

The Moses Code doesn<t wor6 when you as6 for what you want; 3ut rather;when you feel and know that you already ha)e the thing you<re see6ing- Thenthe )ery thing that you<re see6ing is automatically drawn to you 3ecause theBni)erse doesn<t understand lac6- It 6nows only a3undance 3ecause od onlygi)es; or e"pands-

It would mean that you ha)e the power of od within you; and there<s nothing 3eyond your control- As I<)e said 3efore; this is something to gi)e than6s for 3ecause now you ha)e the wisdom and a3ility to ma6e a new choice; one thatreflects your freedom instead of your 3ondage- When you ma6e choices fromfreedom; the result is more freedom- (nce you accept that; you can recei)ee)erything you desire 3y simply recogni?ing that you already ha)e e)erythingyou want - . . and then more of what you wish for will 3e drawn to you-

!)erything in your life is there 3ecause you called it into e"istence- In otherwords; it<s impossi3le for you not to use the Law of Attraction simply 3ecauseyou<)e always possessed the creati)e power of od within you>it isn<tsomething you can 3egin to practice 3ut something you<)e always done- 9oucreate as od creates@ drawing into your life all the things you focus on andlo)e- If there are things in your life you don<t want or that don<t ser)e yourhighest good; the uestion isn<t why are they there; 3ut why do you lo)e themso= o they represent something you ha)en<t yet disco)ered= Perhaps they<rethe limiting 3eliefs or concepts you hold that would prefer to control your liferather than release it- If this is true; then the uestion 3ecomes$ o you want tocontinue fueling them; attracting more and more e)idence of your insufficiency;or is it time to finally release them into the light=

Why do we lo)e our inade uacies= The response will )ary from person to person; 3ut the simple answer is that our deficiencies pro)e the 3elief that li)esright 3ehind them>that we are unworthy of recei)ing the gifts od intends forus- We don<t deser)e lo)e; happiness; and peace@ instead; it<s more li6ely thatwe deser)e separation; sic6ness; and death- This is what the ego would ha)eyou 3elie)e; 3ut your soul; which is always aligned with od<s will; has a )erydifferent idea-

od<s will for you is perfect 2oy- Howe)er; you can<t en2oy this until you sharehis will; for without your consent; od would he wor6ing against you rather

Chapter Fi/e REALITY /!8 IMAGINATION

As6 yourself right now if you want to 3e a prisoner or if you wish to 3e free- 0oone in their right mind would pic6 capti)ity if the choice was put 3efore them soclearly- ut let<s thin6 a3out it for a moment- 0o one in their right mind wouldchoose 3ondage; yet when you<re honest with yourself; it<s e)ident that untilnow; that has 3een your choice- Choosing to 3e wea6 and insufficient is a 6indof prison- Is it possi3le then; that you ha)en<t 3een in your right mind= Whatother possi3ility is there= The answer is simple$ 9ou<)e 3een thin6ing with your

split=mind#

A symptom of a split7mind is the 3elief that you<)e 3een successful in splittingapart from od-

*rom there; it<s an easy 2ump to assert that you<)e also 3ro6en away frome)erything else>all the people you encounter; the world; and e)erything in it-(f course; the indi)iduals around you will reflect the original decision youmade a3out your relationship with od; which until now says that you<reseparate and alone- And if you<re separate and alone; it also means you<re)ulnera3le to attac6; and thus; you<re at war with e)erything around you .

Is any of this 3eginning to sound familiar=

A 3elief that isn<t grounded in reality can<t 3ecome real 2ust 3ecause you want itto 3e- A thought may seem genuine and manifest in your life in different ways;

3ut if it doesn<t align with the will of od; then it has no real effect>and whathas no real effect is not real-

There was a time when most people on the planet 3elie)ed that the world wasflat- The collecti)e decision a3out this so7called flatness was so profound that

any seafaring 2ourney was accompanied 3y e"treme terror- What if you went toofar and fell off the edge= This wisdom was ne)er uestioned@ in fact; all e)i7

dence seemed to support the theory- 9ou could stand on any 3each in the world;loo6 at the distant hori?on; and actually see where the world ended- There it wasright in front of you - - - 3ut does that ma6e it real=

What do you thin6 would ha)e happened if you tra)eled 3ac6 through time andtold e)eryone the truth= 9ou e"plain that the earth is actually round; and theapparent flatness is 3eing caused 3y the cur)ature of the planet- How do youthin6 people would react= As6 alileoE

The news would pro3a3ly not 3e welcomed; as history has shown that peoplewho 3ear unfamiliar or uncon)entional insights are often forci3ly 3rought 3ac6into line- After all; 3oundaries are comforta3le when you<re in prison> e)eryone 6nows where they stand and what<s e"pected of them- It doesn<t reallymatter if the decision is right or wrong; or if the e)idence used to ma6e thedecision is flawed- What matters is the idea for there<s comfort in thin6ingyou<re right-

(nce again; thin6ing you<re right doesn<t ma6e it so- If a thought doesn<t alignwith reality; then it has no actual effect@ and as I<)e said 3efore; what has noeffect isn<t real- 9ou can want it to 3e real; put energy into ma6ing it seem real;and wish with all your might; 3ut some laws can<t 3e o)ercome- If you<rewor6ing against the Creati)e *orce of the Bni)erse; then all the wishing in theworld isn<t going to help you-

/o let<s get 3ac6 to that Creati)e *orce; also 6nown as od- If the ego 3elie)esyou<re )ulnera3le; wea6; and alone; 3ut od 3elie)es the opposite; which onewill you 3elie)e=

!"actly what does od say a3out you=

O 9ou are holy-

O 9ou are perfect-O 9ou are safe-

The a3undance you see6 comes from reali?ing these truths; not with your mind 3ut with your whole heart- This is what the Moses Code offers you>the a3ilityto align your will with the will of od 3y using his name- The more you

practice these e"ercises; the more you<ll em3race all of these gifts and sharethem with others- od only gi)es 3ecause e)erything that<s gi)en 3y od isgi)en to od- Imitate this and there<s nothing you can<t accomplish-

E#erci!e $9& The Law of Gi/in) an, Recei/in)

If the nature of od is to gi)e; then it would ser)e us well to imitate this action-In the past; most of us ha)e focused our minds on giving in order to receive# Inother words; 3ehind e)ery act of gi)ing is the e"pectation of getting something-(ne of the pro3lems with this way of thin6ing is that we usually 3elie)e we6now e"actly what it is we should recei)e; and therefore; we gi)e to others as away of 3argaining for what we thin6 we want- If we want our partner to ru3 our

3ac6; we may offer to ru3 theirs first- 0ow there<s certainly nothing wrong withthis; 3ut it<s time to e"plore an e)en higher way of gi)ing to others that doesn<tre uire 3argaining-

What happens if you offer to ru3 your partner<s 3ac6; who gladly accepts; 3utthen doesn<t offer to return the fa)or= If your fa)or was predicated on the desireto recei)e; then you<ll pro3a3ly 3e frustrated or e)en mad- FI ru3 your 3ac6 allthe time; and you ne)er ru3 mineEG may 3e your response; and e)en if it isn<ttrue; it appears that way to your ego- Why= /imply 3ecause the ego isconcerned with only one thing$ recei)ing- The idea of gi)ing without moti)ation

>e"cept to imitate od>seems insane- FWhat<s in it for me=G the ego as6s-The answer is clear- What<s in it for you is a gift far greater than a 3ac6 ru3 oranything else you can imagine- What<s in it for you is freedom-

*reedom from what= The moti)ation of your soul is to 6now that it<s free toe"perience anything it chooses- If you want to e"perience 3ondage; then you<refree to do so- Howe)er; if you wish to e"perience yourself as holy; a )erydifferent application must 3e applied- /ince gi)ing and recei)ing are ultimatelythe same thing; the only way to e"perience yourself as holy is to see others asholy- In other words; if you want to recei)e the gifts of od; you must gi)ethem away-

Wait a minute- Hasn<t this entire section 3een centered on gi)ing withoute"pectation= How can you 3e free of e"pectation if you<re seeing other peopleas holy in order to 6now yourself as holy=

I li6e to call this .ivine Selfishness# The fact is that it<s nearly impossi3le for usto e"ist without the ego or its moti)ations- The 6ey isn<t to destroy them 3ut touse them in a new way> one that achie)es the goals of your soul- There arethings that each one of us desires such as peace; 2oy; contentment; and success;

to name a few- If it<s true that gi)ing and recei)ing are the same; then it ma6essense to gi)e what we most want-

/o if your highest goal is to 3e happy; ma6e others feel that way- The morehappiness you spread; the more you<ll e"perience- This is using the ego in a

Let<s return to the 3ac6 ru3- As6 yourself; is getting my back massaged my real goal or is there something deeper2 Perhaps what you really want is to feello)ed and cared for; and that may not come from the person you<re offeringsomething to- The Bni)erse might ha)e a dif ferent plan for you>somethingyou can<t percei)e the moment you<re offering a gift- 9ou may gi)e lo)e andaffection only to ha)e it returned from a direction you didn<t e"pect-

/pend some time today focusing on what you really want- It<s certainly morethan attaining a new car or some other possession- 9ou may get these things;

3ut if the soul is ignored; you won<t come close to reaching genuine fulfillment;which the ego can ne)er understand- Pic6 one uality that you choose to recei)einto your life today- Is it 2oy= Peace= Lo)e= 0ow find creati)e ways to increasethat uality in the life of someone who<s close to you or e)en someone you<)e

Chapter Si# THE HOLY NAME OF GOD

When Moses told od that he could ne)er accomplish the seemingly impossi3legoal of setting the He3rews free in fact; e)en the father of his religion wouldfind such a 2o3 insurmounta3leN; od had one simple answer$

& appeared to Abraham to &saac and to 8acob by the name of God Almighty but by my name was & not known to them# '() +*-

A3raham 6new the i)ine 3y a title>the title of F od Almighty-G *or the firsttime; howe)er; od is 6nown 3y an actual name$ I AM THAT I AM- Thisindicates an intimacy that didn<t e"ist until that moment- The uestion then

3ecomes$ Was this closeness reser)ed for Moses and the He3rews; or was this agift gi)en to each one of us= The idea that od lo)es one group or person o)erthe rest is )ery humanli6e--- that<s what we do; 3ut it isn<t what od does-

od<s lo)e is unconditional and the name of od; indicating intimacy oroneness; is a gift 3estowed upon e)eryone- /o what should we do with it= owe shrin6 away li6e Moses did at first; saying that we<re not worthy= o we useit once or twice; witness the power of the /acred 0ame; and then file it away ina neat little ta3ernacle ne)er to 3e seen again= (r could we use it to change ourli)es and the world=

The Co''an,'ent

()er the years I<)e had the chance to 3ring many groups to Israel; the land

promised to Moses and the He3rew people- (n a recent trip; we spent time in asmall town called /afed; which is renowned as the greatest center for a33alah;one of the most mystical; spiritual paths in the world- While )isiting a gift store;I spotted a sculpture 3ehind the counter with the He3rew letters that spelled thename of od- I as6ed the young woman wor6ing there if she<d pronounce it inHe3rew for me-

FThat would 3e 3rea6ing one of the commandments of od;G she repliedmatter7of7factly; as if any child would 6now- F od said we should ne)er ta6e

the holy name in )ain; and that<s why it must not 3e pronounced-G

8/11/2019 152249632-The-Moses-Code

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/152249632-the-moses-code 42/96

I e"plained that I was raised with the same commandment 3ut with a )erydifferent understanding of what it meant- Christians are taught that ta6ing theLord<s name in )ain is an edict to not swear or curse; 3ut it seemed that she had

a much more literal interpretation-F0o; that<s not what it means at all;G she said- FIt<s one of the clearest things welearn; and it<s right there in 3lac6 and white- Ta6ing od<s name in )ain meanswe can<t pronounce it at all- If we do; terri3le things will happen to us-G

I as6ed her where she learned this and if it was a common Dewish 3elief-

FIt has nothing to do with 3eing common;G she continued- FThis is the truth; andthere<s no way to interpret around it- If you say the name of od; then sometimein the future; he<ll remem3er it and punish you- There is a way to a)oid this;though-G

(f course I was intrigued-

FWe sometimes change one of the letters so that we can say it without reallysaying it- If I wanted to say your name; Dames; 3ut you as6ed me not to; I mightsay 9ames instead- That way; I<m safe and ha)en<t done anything wrong-G

I reali?ed that this is what happened to the He3rews when they left !gypt and 3egan searching for the land that od pro)ided for them- They were empowered 3y the Holy 0ame; 3ut it was ultimately set aside-

Was this what od had intended; or was it the result of fear=

There<s nothing in the Torah that specificaiiy prohi3its Dews from pronouncingthe name of od- In fact; it<s dear from many ancient sources that od<s namewas spo6en aloud routinely; especially when praying in the temple- The

Mishnah>an early written compilation of Dewish oral tradition that 3ecame the 3asis of the Torah>recommends using od<s name as a routine greeting

era6hot B+/-#Howe)er; 3y the time of the Talmud; the custom was to su37stitute names for od- /ome ra33is e)en taught that a person who pronouncesthe actual name instead of using a su3stitute should 3e put to death what nearlyhappened to DesusN- Things had certainly shifted in a new direction-

It<s also interesting to note that the )ersion of the name of od we<re using forthe Moses Code is actually a misinterpretation of the original He3rew te"t- *or

years; perhaps e)en centuries; most of us were led to trust the most populartranslation of od<s words> the original name gi)en to Moses; I AM THAT I

/o whether you use I AM THAT I AM or I WILL ! WH( I WILL !; theresult is the same- The intention of connecting with the i)ine com3ined withthe name creates an intimacy with od that unites you with the Creator<s mainfunction- And what is the function of od=

Howe)er; there<s another path that lies 3efore us; one that leads in a newdirection you ha)en<t yet tra)eled- This path is much narrower than what you<)ee"perienced so far; and the canopy of trees o)erhead ma6es the forest seem dar6and e)en a 3it dangerous- I guarantee that this isn<t an illusion- It is moredangerous; and the life you<)e 6nown up until now is in great peril if youchoose to continue- I don<t mean that you could he physically hurt or die if you)enture down this path and are una3le to finish- I 6now I<m 3eing dramatic; 3utmy description isn<t that o)er the top- What you may lose is far more importantand )alua3le than your physical life; and this is what you must e"amine-

O (ne way to ward off death; at least for a little while; is to gather as much stuff as possi3le- Anything that seems to ha)e )alue will do; 3ut the ego prefersthe big stuff# The grander the house; the more comforta3le the ego feels>until;

of course; it reali?es that nothing can secure its life- It 6eeps searching; hopingto find the ne"t 3ig thing that might 6eep it ali)e- ut in the end; e)erythingfails no matter how grandiose; and the ego dies as surely as e)erything else itcreated and percei)es-

0ow let<s e"amine the characteristics of your soul$

O The soul ne)er see6s to get anything 3ecause it 6nows that it already possesses e)erything of )alue; and whate)er lac6s )alue is disregarded; gi)enlittle; if any; attention- Why= ecause the soul 6nows that e)erything flowseasily and naturally in its direction when it<s aligned with its i)ine /ource-A3undance; ideal relationships; and security aren<t the goals 3ut are achie)edwithout effort-

O Whereas the ego see6s to get 3elie)ing that it then possesses whate)er itneeds; the soul see6s to give 6nowing that its needs are already fulfilled-

O The soul understands that death isn<t real 3ecause whate)er is real can<t 3e in2ured or threatened in any way- *ear; therefore; is o)ercome 3ecause thesoul 6nows itself to 3e in)ulnera3le; perfectly protected from any percei)edthreat or error-

It goes without saying that the ego>with all its defenses and desires>isn<t real;or at the )ery least; it<s a shadow of reality- 9et we<)e 3uilt our entire e"istenceon 3elie)ing in this illusion; puffing all our faith in its assertions and endowingit with its own world where it can con uer and rule-

Imagine that you<re standing in a room with a single 3right light set to one side-

The light hits your 3ody and casts a shadow on the floor; roughly the sameshape as your 3ody- If you were to stand in this room for a )ery long time or ifsomething were to happen that ro3s you of your memory; you may 3e temptedto forget the 3ody and the light and focus entirely on the shadow; gi)ing it a lifethat doesn<t really e"ist- The shape is no longer that of your 3ody 3ut of a crea7ture or monster that may attac6 you at any moment- !)ery time you mo)e; itmo)es; too; although you<re una3le to percei)e the relationship 3ecause you<)eforgotten that your 3ody and the shadow are actually the same- 9ou 3ecomeafraid of the 3ody that created the shadow and especially fear the light that

Chapter Ei)ht SPIRIT<AL /!8 RELIGIO<S

In 188.; a 3oo6 was pu3lished that shoc6ed many people around the glo3e-6onversations with God 3y 0eale onald Walsch; sat at the num3er one posi7tion on The New ?ork Times 3estseller list for more than two years; and the

pu3lishing world hasn<t 3een the same since- Many people hadn<t consideredthe possi3ility that od ne)er stopped spea6ing to humanity and that anyonecould ha)e an intimate encounter with the i)ine Presence>sometimes 6nownas od>anytime they chose- It was assumed that od only spo6e to thegreatest prophets and teachers that we<)e read a3out in the i3le or other sacredte"ts; 3ut the idea that od would spea6 to an ordinary person li)ing todayseemed impossi3le-

ut as we<re disco)ering now; nothing is impossi3le; especially when it comesto this topic-

The story that led 0eale to his own i)ine encounter is pro3a3ly not terri3lydifferent from your own- It was at a time when 0eale seemed to ha)e loste)erything of )alue in his life- He was at the lowest rung on the ladder when heheard a )oice from within>a )oice he recogni?ed 3ut couldn<t 3elie)e- It wasthe )oice of od@ and a con)ersation 3egan that changed the way we loo6 atoursel)es; the world; and our connection with the Creator-

How many times ha)e you felt lost and out of control 3ut then sensed a gentle)oice within assuring you that e)erything would 3e fine= We usually assumethat this is a con)ersation with our own self; perhaps a higher part of us that lies

2ust 3eyond the reach of our conscious mind- If we could only remem3er thatthis is e"actly correct and that there is no distance 3etween our Higher /elf andod; then perhaps we<d reali?e that we<re con)ersing with the i)ine e)erymoment of our li)es- It<s as if the phone line 3etween od and oursel)es is

always open; and od is waiting to 3e included in the con)ersation- Instead; wecontinue on our way; thin6ing that we<re alone and a3le to control the endlessdetails of our li)es without our i)ine enefactor<s influence-

ut what happens when we remem3er this connection and tap into its wisdomfor e)erything we thin6; say; or do=

od is in e)ery detail of your life; guiding you into the infinite reality in whichyou were created and still remain- Let<s stop there for a moment 3ecause it<s so

important@ in fact; the first sentence of this paragraph may 3e the most crucialassertion in the 3oo6- We<ll 3rea6 it apart and loo6 at it piece 3y piece-

This is something that most people; if they ha)e any concept of od at all; ha)eno pro3lem accepting- The whole point of a religious life is to see the i)inethum3print in e)ery moment; 6nowing that od is in charge and watching o)erus- 0otice that I used the word religious instead of spiritual# I could ha)e 2ust aseasily written Fthe whole point of a spiritual life;G 3ut this wouldn<t ha)econ)eyed what I<m trying to illustrate-

/o what<s the difference 3etween a religious person and a spiritual person= I<ll 3egin 3y repeating something that a friend told me many years ago- He said$FThe difference is that a religious person 3elie)es in hell while a spiritual

person has 3een there-G It may 3e cute; 3ut in some ways it<s true- What aresome of the other possi3le differences=

O &eligious people oftentimes 3elie)e that od is Fout thereGsomewhere; usually in Hea)en; whereas spiritual people 6now thatthere<s no separation 3etween themsel)es and their i)ine /ource-

O &eligious people may 3elie)e that they must die 3efore they canenter Hea)en; and spiritual people trust that Desus was correct when hesaid$ FThe ingdom of od is within you-G

O &eligious people sometimes state that od is holy and they are not;whereas spiritual people 6now that anything created 3y od is still onewith od- Therefore; if the Creator is holy; so are they- As it says in ICorinthians$ F now ye not that ye are the Temple of od and that the/pirit dwells within you=G

O &eligious people may 3elie)e that od<s lo)e is conditional and

can 3e ta6en away at any moment; 3ut spiritual people 6now that od<slo)e is eternal and unconditional-

I<m 3eing careful to say that these are statements a religious person sometimes 3elie)es 3ut not always- I<m fully aware that it<s possi3le to 3e spiritual andreligious at the same time- What I<m really trying to con)ey is that spiritualindi)iduals Fe"perienceG od in a way that transcends thought and logic; andtheir e"perience of the i)ine isn<t limited to any one religious or spiritual

tradition- The deeper one goes into the spiritual e"perience; the more uni)ersalit 3ecomes- Christian theologians may draw profound distinctions 3etween their

3eliefs and those of Muslims; Dews; or e)en from other sects of Christianity- AChristian mystic; on the other hand; uic6ly e"periences the meaninglessness ofthese schisms and watches calmly as all di)ergent streams flow into the same

ocean- A 0iew fro' A1o/e

o you remem3er the story of the astronauts who first saw our planet fromouter space= Their perspecti)e of the world changed when they ga?ed upon it;seeing past the 3oundaries and di)isions that rule our li)es- orders thatseparate countries mean )ery little to one who )iews !arth in its entirety>muchli6e the mystic who rises a3o)e the di)ergent 3eliefs of a particular religiononly to see that all paths ultimately lead to od-

The second part of the sentence we<re e"amining says$ F- - - guiding you into theinfinite reality in which you were created and still remain-G

Ah; this is something )ery different from what most of us were taught in/unday school or catechism class- When I was growing up in the CatholicChurch; I ne)er heard anything a3out remaining perfect as I was created- Infact; I was told the opposite>we<re 3orn in sin and need to 3e redeemedthrough a wonderful sacrament called 3aptism- If you die 3efore you<re

3apti?ed>so the story says>then straight to hell you<ll descend to 3urn for alleternity; which; 3y the way; is a )ery long time-

I felt little solace when I was told that od had a special place for children whodie 3efore they ha)e the chance to 3e 3apti?ed- Apparently; Lim3o is 2ust

3etween Hea)en and hell and was created especially for these poor infants-While they<ll ne)er see od; at least they won<t suffer eternal hellfire>a smallconsolation from a merciful od-

This leads to the ultimate difference 3etween a spiritual and religious person$ Areligious person sometimes 3elie)es that we were 3orn in sin and need to 3eredeemed; while a spiritual person 6nows that redemption isn<t re uired- Inother words; you<re perfect as you were created and there<s nothing you can doto change the lo)e that is your /ource- Most Christians 3elie)e that the role ofDesus was to redeem our sins and reunite us with our i)ine Inheritance- Aspiritual person; on the other hand; recogni?es that Desus<s role was todemonstrate the true meaning of lo)e 3y con uering death; showing us theinfinite potential not only of his soul; 3ut of ours as well-

0ow a true con)ersation can 3egin; one that isn<t predicated on ine uality anddisparity; 3ut on union and lo)e- And this is where the Moses Code fits in-When od spo6e to Moses in the form of the 3urning 3ush; he esta3lished a

lin6 3etween Hea)en and !arth that hadn<t e"isted 3efore that moment- odtold Moses the Holy 0ame- That may not sound li6e a momentous occasionfrom our perspecti)e; 3ut from the perspecti)e of Moses and the Israelites; itwas-

It<s hard to ha)e a con)ersation with someone whose name you don<t 6now- Ifyou only 6now a title>in this case; it<s F od AlmightyG or e)en FThe od ofour *orefathersG>then no intimacy can 3e esta3lished- Intimacy; after all; is the

purpose of communion; which is the ultimate result of a deep con)ersation-

Moses opened the door for humanity to ha)e an intimate con)ersation with thei)ine- Centuries after Moses; another Dewish leader; ing /olomon; wrotea3out od as a lo)er and intimate partner- His ecstatic relationship with thei)ine wasn<t percei)ed as unreacha3le and unapproacha3le; 3ut as a spousewhose presence ma6es him drun6 with lo)e-

@et him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; Cor thy love is better than wine#

Mystics from e)ery tradition ha)e echoed these emotions; e"periencing thei)ine less in the mind and more in the heart- In Christianity; saints such asTeresa of A)ila; Dohn of the Cross; and *rancis of Assisi ha)e shared splendidaccounts of their rapture@ and in /ufism; few ha)e e)er reached the heights of&umi when he wrote

od is wine and upon this sweet drin6 we<)e 3ecome drun6ards; losing ourformer sel)es and disco)ering our true nature that<s holy and worthy of anem3race the world can ne)er comprehend- od has mo)ed from the unnamed to

the named and; ultimately; to the elo)ed-The uestion then 3ecomes$ Is od mo)ing toward us; or are we mo)ing towardod= If we 3elie)e that od mo)es closer to humanity as the centuries

progress; then we must also thin6 that od<s lo)e is conditional- In other words;the more od gets to 6now us; the more affection flows in our direction- utthis reflects human relationships more accurately rather than it does the i)ine-*rom the perspecti)e of i)inity; od only gi)es to od- We hold 3ac6 ourgi)ing until we<re sure it<s going to 3e accepted and then returned- If this is true;then perhaps there<s something to 3e learned from our newfound intimacy withod- Perhaps it<s finally time to 3egin imitating od rather than e"pecting ourCreator to imitate us-

What does it mean to say that od only gi)es= This is impossi3le from a human perspecti)e 3ecause if we 3elie)e that we<re gi)ing our energy or resourcesaway to people who e"ist outside of us; there comes a point where we ha)enothing left to gi)e- If we offered up all our energy; we<d die - - - then wherewould we 3e= (ur idea of gi)ing is$ F now your limit@ don<t gi)e more thanyou can afford to lose-G

Let<s shift perspecti)es so that we can understand how od gi)es-

Most of us are willing to consider the possi3ility that od doesn<t percei)eseparation- In other words; e)erything is contained within the whole wesometimes call od; and there<s nothing outside that whole- Physics teaches usthat energy can<t 3e created or destroyed@ it mo)es from one place to another- Ifthis is so; then anything we gi)e to another person is really nothing more thanan e"change of energy; 3ut from od<s perspecti)e; it really hasn<t gone

anywhere- /imply put; the energy hasn<t left its source; which is od- od isthe source of all energy; and therefore; it can ne)er lea)e or go anywhere at all-It remains where it has always 3een e)en though it may seem to mo)e from one

person or situation to another-

*e co'e to a new wor ,"

This lea)es us with only one possi3ility- i)ing and recei)ing aren<t twodifferent e"periences 3ut one>they are the same-

The purpose of the Moses Code is to e"perience the intimacy of our relationshipwith the i)ine and then spread it to others- We<re here to imitate od; 3ut wecan<t do it unless we understand our Creator- Bnderstanding comes only fromrelating to or communicating with someone or something; and we can onlydeeply communicate with someone if we 6now the person- The gift that Mosesga)e us; then; was the Holy 0ame@ and since then; we<)e 3een mo)ing closer tood rather than e"pecting od to mo)e closer to us-

The soul doesn<t worry a3out the things it 6nows will come automatically oncea higher le)el has 3een achie)ed- It<s concerned only with the ualities and gifts

that are eternal and 3eyond the physical world$ peace; lo)e; compassion; andgentleness- It focuses on the 3ene)olence of /pirit; 6nowing that the gifts of theworld will flow easily once a higher goal is sought-

I li6e to call this the tric6le7down theory of enlightenment- Desus is saying thatonly eternal gifts are worthy of your attention; and he<s also affirming that whenyou focus on these gifts; the rest are gi)en to you automatically- He furtherstates$

0ow imagine achie)ing the highest goal>that is; the reali?ation of Hea)en on!arth at this moment; not after you die- The goal is to e"perience hea)enly giftsin the here7and7now; and the energy of this will then 3egin to tric6le down to

the lower le)els of your pyramid- After you<)e reached Hea)en on !arth; theenergy will fill the second le)el; a life filled with lo)e and peace- (nce this isfulfilled; it will then flow into financial a3undance and then e)ery su3se uentle)el after that- 9ou<ll 3egin to reali?e that od<s plan 3rings success to e)eryarea of your life>not 2ust the initial desire-

What happens if you stri)e after and focus on one of the lower le)els>fore"ample; the desire for financial a3undance= Let<s imagine that you use theMoses Code; the power inherent in the name of od; to achie)e it- ecause theBni)erse always gi)es you e)erything you as6 for; you easily attain the goaland your 3an6 account is suddenly o)erflowing with money- And since thetric6le7down theory of enlightenment is also in effect; e)erything 3eneath thisdesire is also fulfilled- 9ou<re a3le to 3uy all the toys you thin6 you need inorder to 3e e)en happier than you are now- 9ou also ha)e a le)el of influencethat allows you to clim3 the social ladder-

The fulfillment of the soul is your only desire; 3ut you ha)en<t reali?ed this - - - perhaps until now- It may 3e impossi3le to permanently forfeit your soul; 3utyou can ignore it- Howe)er; you can<t neglect it fore)er- The longing of the soul

3ecomes more and more persistent until you can no longer deny its call-Ignoring your soul ultimately 3ecomes so painful that you ha)e no other choicethan to see6 after the ingdom of od or settle for an unsatisfied life- 9ou mayend up with an ama?ing house; the fastest car; and tremendous influence; 3utthe most important things are still missing; it<s as if od created a fall7safesystem to ensure your final acceptance of the truth-

This is the truth we see6; and the Moses Code is the path we<ll wal6 on towardour ultimate reward- It<s time for us to recogni?e that our only goal is to imitatethe gifts of od; as well as the generosity of od@ and in doing so; we<ll reali?e

that we already ha)e e)erything that our soul needs to 3e happy and completelysatisfied- od only gi)es; yet e)erything is perfectly recei)ed 3y od- A giftcan ne)er truly lea)e its source; and this is what leads to our final acceptance ofthe ingdom of od that li)es within us-

raw your own pyramid representing the tric6le7down theory of enlightenment-Ma6e it 3ig enough so that you can write down a few words in each le)el- /tartat the top>the pinnacle of the triangle- How would you descri3e what Desuscalled the ingdom of od; Hea)en; enlightenment; and perfect lo)e= Writethose words at the )ery top- 0ow go to the 3ottom of the pyramid and list someof the things that you need to sur)i)e; such as food; clothing; and shelter- Theseare the most 3asic re uirements of your life- 9ou can focus on creatinga3undance here; or you can trust that the higher you rise on the pyramid; themore you can accept from od-

What are some of the gifts you could manifest directly a3o)e your most 3asicneeds= Perhaps the ne"t le)el for you would 3e satisfying your emotional needsor desires- Dot down a few of these 2ust a3o)e the 3ottom le)el- How many morele)els can you thin6 of= (ther than your physical or emotional needs; what elsecan you add to your pyramid= Ta6e some time to write these in as much detailas possi3le; and then decide where you really want to focus- &emem3er thataccording to the tric6le7down theory; e)erything 3elow what you focus uponwill automatically 3e created; while e)erything a3o)e it will 3e forgotten- *ore"ample; if you focus only on your physical needs; then e)erything a3o)e that

choosing to see as God sees 6 see6ing the gifts of the soul o)er those that willne)er satisfy you-

9ou may wonder; Q 1hat does it mean to see as God sees = In e)ery moment ofyour life; you can choose how you percei)e what<s around you>that is; the people in your life; the circumstances you e"perience; and the e)ents youencounter- If you decide to see through the eyes of the ego the /hadowN; you<llsee e)erything as separate and isolated- As I<)e said 3efore; one of the 3eliefs ofthe ego is that you must defend yourself from what<s outside and may attac6you without warning- 9ou o3ser)e the world through suspicious eyes; una3le totruly percei)e e"cept through a dar6ened filter- The people or circumstancesthat could ha)e ser)ed you well or 3rought you great 2oy are disregarded ore)en attac6ed>all 3ecause you chose to see the world in this way-

If you choose to see through the eyes of the soul; then the world and e)erythingin it appears in a )ery different light- 9ou reali?e that you aren<t separate fromanything or anyone 3ut are intimately lin6ed with the reality you o3ser)e-There<s no need to attac6 3ecause you 6now that you<d only 3e attac6ing your7self- The only thing left to do is to 3less e)erything you percei)e; 3ecause in theend; e)ery e"perience is guiding you into a deeper understanding of yourhighest purpose in life-

!arlier; you read that the ego see6s to get while the soul see6s to give# This is 3ecause the soul>now facing the light as opposed to facing the shadow>see6sto imitate the light; or od- The soul is really the lin6 or 3ridge 3etween the egoand the i)ine- (nce you<)e crossed that 3ridge and merged yourconsciousness with od; its purpose is complete and it identifies itself as onewith its Creator- In other words; the soul is a3sor3ed 3ac6 into the intention ofod; e"tending and e"panding e"actly as od e"tends and e"pands- The twoha)e 3ecome one; and only oneness e"ists-

This leads us to the final stage>the Light-

This is the source of e)erything you percei)e; which illuminates and creates theody soulN and the /hadow egoN- The goal of the Moses Code is to shift fromidentifying yourself with the ego to seeing through the eyes of the soul; and thenfinally remem3ering that in reality you<re neither of these- 9ou are the Light> one with the /ource that shines upon the rest of creation- This is your aim; 3utachie)ing it will re uire more of you than you can possi3ly imagine at this time-

At the 3eginning of Part II; you were gi)en the opportunity to stop and en2oythe lessons you<)e learned; using them to attract e)erything you<)e e)er desired

into your life- If you chose to stop there; you would ha)e possessed thenecessary tools to manifest whate)er reality you wished; and for a moment; youwould ha)e 3een appeased- ut that satisfaction wouldn<t ha)e lasted long

3ecause you would ha)e only achie)ed the desires of the ego and wouldn<t ha)ereali?ed that there<s a deeper longing>your soul; which can ne)er 3e appeasedwith any physical accomplishment- The soul see6s something that lies 3eyondthis world; something that can<t 3e defined or remo)ed 3y time or death- Itsearches for the eternal>or at least ualities of the e)erlasting which doesmanifest in this world-

What are some of these ualities=

O PeaceO Lo)eO raceO DoyO Patience

These are present 3oth here and in Hea)en; which is defined as a state ofconsciousness rather than a place you enter when you die- They<re li6e solid

3ridges connecting this world to the real one>a world 3ased upon the laws of(neness rather than of separation- The ego and the soul are li6e )ehicles thatcarry us into these )arious dimensions 3ut only as far as they<re a3le to go- *ore"ample; if you were dri)ing a car and reached the 3each; you wouldn<t 3e a3leto dri)e any farther- 9ou<d need a 3oat to carry you to the other side of theocean- ut if you didn<t ha)e the time it would ta6e to tra)el 3y 3oat; thenyou<d need a 2et to get you there faster-

The ego is li6e the car- It can carry you on land; 3ut it<s )ery limited when itcomes to other needs- The 3oat can ferry you o)er water; 3ut e)en it is limitedand can only get you to the other side o)er a long period of time- (nly the 2et

can transport you to any place you need to go 3ecause it<s a3le to rise a3o)e theearth and isn<t 3ound 3y the terrain- It doesn<t matter if you<re tra)eling througha desert or o)er a mountain- Its a3ility to ascend to a higher altitude ena3les it too)ercome the restrictions of the world 3elow-

In the first part of this 3oo6; you were dri)ing a car and the ego was in charge ofe)erything- Then you mo)ed to a 3oat; and the soul 3egan to ta6e you to the

places that the car couldn<t reach- 0ow it<s time to 3oard a 2et; for where you<regoing can<t 3e accessed 3y the car or the 3oat- This 2et will rise a3o)e the earth

and ta6e you into a new realm; one that isn<t 3ound 3y the laws or customs ofthe past-

The E)o4! A)en,a

The ego has only one agenda$ its own sur)i)al- ecause it<s ultimately anillusion; the ego must use e)erything at its disposal to continue the false imagesit creates- That<s why it<s so uic6 to a3andon one 3elief in fa)or of anothere)en though the two may oppose each other- !)en when the ego has plenty ofe)idence to support the truth>in this case; the fact that Moses was a3le tosecure the release of the He3rews using the power inherent in the name of od

>the moment this e)idence doesn<t ser)e its agenda; it<s disregarded- It wouldrather flip7flop than die; for death is its greatest fear- The ego con)inces youthat if it dies; you die; so you 3ecome a willing conspirator in this farce- This ishow the ego rationali?es e)ery decision it ma6es; ma6ing it seem uitereasona3le to follow one path this moment; then the opposite the ne"t-

Moses and the IsraelitesN represents the part of all of us that would rather trustthe e)idence of separation rather than the promises of the i)ine- od promisedthat the He3rews would 3e led to a Fland o)erflowing with mil6 and honey;G theland of their 3irthright- ut the moment the desert winds 3egan to 3low; theyuestioned their a3ility to sur)i)e and went 3ac6 to their comfort ?one>adecision that ultimately depri)ed them of this great reward-

/imply put; the ego<s power is insignificant@ therefore; it must see6 ite)erywhere else in order to recei)e more- Bnfortunately; most people in thisworld li)e within this limited 3elief- They 3elie)e that they can do )ery little ontheir own; much li6e how Moses felt at the 3eginning of his Dourney- Anythingthat is wea6 must 3e 3olstered 3y something that<s strong; so the ego chooses tosee6 its strength outside in order to ma6e itself feel more powerful-

The soul; on the other hand; reaii?es that there<s nothing outside that can help itin any way- enuine strength lies within; and when we operate from the

wisdom contained within our soul; we feel empowered to create in a new way-When we li)e from the soul; we uic6ly reali?e that the true function of life is tocreate and e"tend as od creates and e"tends- Then the powerlessness of theego is o)ercome; and we achie)e a le)el of satisfaction that the mind can ne)ercomprehend-

The soul accomplishes this; as I<)e said 3efore; 3y gi)ing what it desires- If peace is the goal; then the soul offers peace to others- If lo)e is the intention; it<se"pressed e)erywhere and to e)eryone- The soul immediately recei)es these

gifts 3ecause it reali?es that it isn<t separate from the soul of another person- Inother words; these<s ultimately one soul e"pressing itself in an infinite num3er

dance is achie)ed-*rom this point on in our study; we<ll apply Moses<s con)ersation with od asthe framewor6 for understanding the Code and using it to attract e)erything wecould e)er desire- (nce again; Moses represents the ego; the part of us that

percei)es i)ine a3undance as something e"isting outside of oursel)es@ the 3urning 3ush represents the soul; the part of us that 3urns away the ego<s desiresand see6s a higher )ision and call@ and od is the true >; the most supreme partof us that remem3ers its oneness with all reality- The Moses Code is ultimatelythe fusion of these aspects; drawing upon each of them to create peace in ourli)es and in the world-

The uestion 3efore you now is simple$ Who are you in this drama ofmanifestation= Are you Moses; using the techni ues you<)e learned to attract allthe things you don<t currently possess; 3elie)ing they<ll enrich your life= Areyou the 3urning 3ush; a3la?e with the energy of creation and offering it toe)eryone you encounter= (r are you od; aware of the intimate connection youshare with e)ery li)ing 3eing and fully present with the heart of i)inity itself=

The choice has always 3een yours; and your awareness is 3ased on the figureyou choose to em3ody- The fact that you<)e come this far indicates that you<)efinally reali?ed the futility of the ego<s path- 9ou may ha)e successfullyattracted all the things you thought would satisfy your inner longing>houses;cars; and a3undance>3ut the yearning ne)er really left no matter how much

stuff you accumulated- 9ou may ha)e e)en learned the art of gi)ing what yoursoul most desires; and in doing so; you<)e reali?ed that it was always yours- 9etthere is still a final step to ta6e; one that your mind can<t truly comprehend-

Chapter Twe /eTHE FINAL STEP

Is it time to step into that reality now= Are you ready to finally attain the trueand highest goal of the Moses Code= If so; you<ll reunite your awareness withthe awareness of od and reali?e that you are (ne with your Creator- on<t 3esurprised if this ma6es you ua6e a 3it; filling your heart with 3oth e"citementand panic- It<s only natural; 3ut as you<)e read o)er and o)er; the ending is sure-9ou wouldn<t 3e reading this if you weren<t ready or if you hadn<t called thisinto your life- All you need to do is step forward- The angels will do the rest-

Imagine that you<)e 3een playing a role in a dramatic play for so many yearsthat the thin line separating the character you<)e created and the real you has

3ecome 3lurred- Instead of ta6ing off the costume and ma6eup when the performance is o)er; you return home and pretend that you<re still the character-Whene)er circumstances arise that re uire your attention or response; youdecide to act according to this fictitious person who doesn<t really e"ist- Indoing so; the truth in you has 3ecome o3scured; and you<)e lost trac6 of yourgenuine needs and desires- The you who od percei)es has fallen asleep and itseems that you may ne)er 3e awa6e again-

ut your awa6ening was preordained and if you choose to; you can remem3erand wa6e up from the dream of separation today>this )ery moment- 9ou werefooled into 3elie)ing that it ta6es time and that you<d ha)e to change who youare in order to be who you really are- oes that ma6e any sense at all= Whywould you ha)e to change to 3ecome your authentic self= 0ow the insanity ofthe ego is made clear; and it<s time to set it aside fore)er in fa)or of the )isionof od that ne)er changes-

Let<s read that once again$ the )ision of od that ne)er changes- !)en whileyou played a role from a play you wrote on your own; od has ne)er forgottenwho you really are- And if od hasn<t forgotten; neither ha)e you- This is thegreatest news in the Bni)erse 3ecause it signifies that you<)e 3een protectedfrom all the meaningless concepts you<)e created to hide from who you reallyare- They<)e ne)er e"isted at all e"cept in your own imagination- What otherchoice do you ha)e now 3ut to rouse yourself; stretch; and reali?e that you<)ene)er actually left your true home= 9ou were protected and safe from the

Wait a minute- May3e this is something new; something unforeseen that you<)ene)er imagined 3efore- 9ou may wonder; .onFt do anything at all2 .onFt even

try to release the final illusion of separation;the very thing that has kept me from reali ing that &’m already enlightened2

o you feel yourself rela"ing with the understanding that you don<t need to doanything at all= That<s the whole idea- When you<re afraid of something; you

3uild walls of protection that are difficult or e)en impossi3le for you too)ercome- ut when you<re at ease; the walls are )ery low to the ground>solow that any child could cross them- The goal is to help you stop putting

Let<s ta6e a 3reath for a moment- All this time you<)e 3een focused on whatyou need to do to practice the Moses Code in order to attract e)erything youreally desire- Then you<)e shifted the focus of this; gi)ing to others what youdesire; 3ut at least it was easy to tell who was doing the wor6- 9ou were; 3utnow you<re 3eing told something )ery different- 9ou<re 3eing as6ed to step

9ou<)e done an ama?ing 2o3 and should 3e commended for it-

ut this final step isn<t yours to ta6e@ the sooner you disco)er this; the uic6er itwill happen- It<s literally a step away from this world into eternity- Bntil nowthe decisions you<)e made ha)e 3een predicated on your 3elief in time; space;and all the limitations therein; it<s time to trust the (ne who doesn,t 6now theselimitations>the (ne who has the sacred role of remo)ing you from all thethings time would claim; esta3lishing your heart in the real world-

In other words; you can<t ta6e this final step on your own; 3ut it can 3e ta6en foryou- This is the step that od must ta6e; for only then will you reali?e that youand od are one-

Here<s the 3est part- The step I<m descri3ing was actually ta6en a )ery longtime ago; 3efore time 3egan>that is; it<s a step that leads nowhere e"ceptwhere you<)e always 3een- It<s the step that leads to your heart and to theHea)en that has always 3een your home-

This is a 2ourney without distance- (ur only goal has 3een to reali?e>not in ourminds 3ut within our hearts>that the truth in us has ne)er changed; and weha)e the a3ility and the right to li)e within that truth now- - - this )ery moment-There<s nothing we need to do and nothing we need to alter; for what we<re nowfocused on can ne)er change; no matter what happens- This may 3e one of thehardest things for any of us to accept 3ecause until now we<)e 3een told theopposite- We<)e 3een taught that we ha)e the a3ility to lose our di)ineinheritance through sin or ma6ing choices that destroy the soul- What we<relearning now is that there<s nothing in this world that can destroy the soul sinceod<s lo)e is unconditional- We may he a3le to delay our awareness of thislo)e; 3ut it<s ine)ita3le-

0ow you ha)e the opportunity to accept the final step in the Moses Code;em3racing your eternal oneness with your i)ine /ource- Is it hard for you toac6nowledge that this solution has always 3een so close>that it was nothingmore than a choice away= Howe)er; that isn<t the uestion you should he as6ingyourself since the past is gone and means nothing- The only appropriateuestion is; Will you em3race it now=

%! ill !# an- e

If you say yes; then od will ta6e the step you<)e 3een una3le to ta6e yourself;

and you<ll remem3er who you are- one are the days of stri)ing after the ego<sendless appetite- All that you<re left with are the open rewards of Hea)en; here7and7now; waiting for you to recei)e and share- This is what od does; and nowit<s yours to do the same-

The Moses Code is now complete within you- 9our decision was all that wasneeded and then your willingness to step 3ac6 and allow od to ta6e the finalstep- The world and e)erything in it now fades and dissol)es into this HolyPurpose; for it is your purpose as well-

Ta6e a deep 3reath and allow it to 3e true-

APPENDIX A SHORT CO<RSE IN

MANIFESTATION

The su3title of this 3oo6 is FThe Most Powerful Manifestation Tool in theHistory of the World-G At first that may ha)e seemed li6e a grand claim; or itmay ha)e e)en 3een the )ery thing that determined whether or not you pic6edup the 3oo6- I<d li6e to add that I truly 3elie)e that the Moses Code is the most

powerful techni ue I<)e e)er encountered- Why= ecause I<)e e"periencedfirsthand the transformati)e power of com3ining the name of od with othertraditional manifestation practices- Howe)er; I<m not asserting that other

practices don<t ha)e their place; and that<s why I<m adding this section to the 3oo6- *or the Moses Code to 3e most effecti)e; it<s important to understandsome of the fundamental elements for creating e)erything you desire-

In %:: ; millions of people around the world 3ecame e"cited a3out adocumentary called The Secret which descri3ed on a 3asic le)el a phenomenoncalled the Law of Attraction- I was )ery e"cited when I saw the film; and I e)enadded some of the techni ues to my own practice- Howe)er; I was also a 3itworried 3y two aspects of The Secret# *irst of all; it seemed to 3e almostcompletely focused on using the Law of Attraction to get the things that wouldhopefully add happiness or contentment to your life- If you don<t li6e your car;you can use it to get a 3etter one- If you don<t li6e your house; you can manifestone that fulfills your wildest dreams- It all sounds good; 3ut there were some)ery important elements; or deeper secrets; that seemed to ha)e 3een left out-

The other thing that worried me a3out the film was that I felt it o)ersimplifiedthe process of manifestation; lea)ing out critical ingredients that coulddetermine a person<s success or failure- I 3egan hearing a3out many people who

followed the techni ues and practices; 3elie)ing that e)erything in their li)eswould suddenly shift- *or some it did; 3ut for many it didn<t- Bnfortunately;some of those who failed decided to throw out the entire process and simplygi)e up- They concluded that there wasn,t a secret at all and returned to theirli)es of )ictimhood-

(ne day I was discussing all of this with my friend e33ie *ord; the author ofmany 3est7selling 3oo6s; including The .ark Side of the @ight 6hasers# /he;li6e many other spiritual teachers I 6now; had )ery strong feelings on the

su32ect and wanted to find a way to offer a more complete )ersion of the Law ofAttraction and show how we can use it to fulfill our li)es- We decided to as6 a

few of our friends to 2oin us in a series of conference calls that would e"ploreusing the art of manifestation to give rather than simply get# I<m a strong

proponent of )iewing acts of ser)ice as a powerful path to enlightenment; and I

6now for certain that trying to satisfy the endless needs of the ego leads tocomplete disillusionment- Bnfortunately; this is what my colleagues and I areseeing o)er and o)er with people who are practicing the Secret#

The conference calls were referred to as <sing the Secret to 6reate Peace#Along with 0eale onald Walsch; Michael ec6with; Dean Houston; and Dames&ay; e33ie and I launched the course- I wasn<t at all surprised when more than1';::: people from around the world signed up; listening and participating inthis )ital con)ersation- It seemed that there were more people than we imaginedwho were ready to ta6e the ne"t step-

!)en though I<m 3eing honest with my feelings regarding the focus of TheSecret ; I also want to say that I 3elie)e it was a critically important step formany of the indi)iduals who watched it- &eali?ing that we create e)erything wee"perience>no matter how positi)e or negati)e it may seem>is the first stepin spiritual mastery- ut it<s only the 3eginning; and we shouldn<t thin6 thatwe<re in graduate school when we<re really in first grade- It 3ecameincreasingly clear that we needed another; more comprehensi)e 3oo6 at the Lawof Attraction-

A wee6 after the conference calls were completed; e33ie contacted me andrelated an interesting idea- /he as6ed if I<d 3e willing to wor6 with her on a newfilm; one that would help people who felt disenfranchised 3y The Secret# /hedidn<t 6now that months earlier I<d decided to get out of the mo)ie 3usiness;ha)ing 3een o)erwhelmed 3y the energy it too6 to produce or direct three otherflims; including &ndigo a feature a3out spiritually open children- Luc6y for me;she was persistent and finally con)inced me that humanity needed another loo6at this su32ect-

We considered se)eral angles and e"plored wor6ing with other successfulfilmma6ers; 3ut in the end I felt that the Moses Code offered e)erything Iwanted to e"press- I was already well into writing this 3oo6 and decided tocom3ine my efforts for a one7two punch$ a powerful written wor6 that would 3esupported 3y a con)incing film-

My goal with 3oth of these pro2ects has 3een to share my e"perience with theMoses Code while also offering a solid foundation in the significant elements of

manifestation practices- When these are com3ined; they create a potent energythat<s more powerful than anything I<)e witnessed 3efore- The ne"t section in

this Appendi" will 3e focused on these techni ues> the framewor6 that<sessential in ma6ing the Law of Attraction wor6- Bse what ma6es sense and feelfree to disregard what doesn<t- In the end you<re the authority; and your

willingness to activate your connection with your own Sacred Self is the onlything you need to be successful#

Most of the people who try to implement the Law of Attraction and fail areunaware of the issues that are 3loc6ing their a3ility to manifest their desires-This is usually 3ecause they ha)en<t done the wor6 re uired to clearly attractwhat they thin6 they want- The reason I say Fthin6 they wantG is 3ecausecontrary to their 3elief; the techni ue is actually wor6ing perfectly-

Human 3eings are comple"@ and unfortunately; one7dimensional solutions rarelysol)e intricate pro3lems- Most of the manifestation techni ues and tools that are

popular today are )alua3le and can produce wonderful 3enefits; 3ut only if a proper foundation is laid that allows them to ha)e the greatest effect- Ma6ing alist of affirmations and reciting them o)er and o)er is a powerful tool; 3utsaying & am an abundant being to yourself does )ery little if deep down>

3eneath your conscious mind>you 3elie)e the opposite-

There are many worthwhile programs that can help you appropriately andeffecti)ely address these issues; so I won<t attempt to include them here-Howe)er; one that I can strongly recommend is The /hadow Process; a retreatoffered 3y e33ie *ord- I<)e attended e33ie<s wor6shop and can honestly saythat it changed my life; gi)ing me tools to deal with the shadows that 3loc6edmy a3ility to attract what I really want in life- If you<d li6e to learn more; Isuggest that you attend a wor6shop for yourself or 3uy one of e33ie<s 3est7selling 3oo6s- 9ou can )isit her We3site for more information atwww-de33ieford-com -N

*or now; I simply want to add that this wor6 is essential if you want to truly

attract goodness and 3lessings into your life- As powerful as the Moses Code is;you ha)e within you the power of od; and it can<t 3e ta6en away- 9our wish isthe Bni)erse<s command; whether it<s conscious or unconscious- It will gi)eyou e)erything you as6 for; so it<s )ital that you 6now e"actly what it is you<reas6ing for- (therwise; you<ll practice these techni ues and pull into your life allthe things you 3elie)e you don<t want; and you<ll say that it doesn<t wor6- Itdoes wor6>e)ery timeE

0ow it<s time for you to do the wor6 so that your soul<s desire>not your ego<s

>will 3e reali?ed-

THE % >EYS TO

E0ERYTHINGE0ERITHING YO< DESIRE

1- e clear-%- e open-'- e willing-+- e happy-.- e focused-- e e"pectant-4- e energetic-5- e positi)e-8- e true-1:- e grateful-

These are some of the most important 6eys to help you manifest e)erthing youwant to attract into your life- 9ou,ll notice that each one starts with the word 3e

V for e"ample; e clear- That,s 3ecause they,re focused less on what you needto do and more on what you need to 3e-

?ou must be the change you wish to see in the world#$ > andhi

How many times ha)e we tal6ed a3out all the things we 3elie)e or want; 3utdeep down we were unwilling to integrate the ualities that would attract them=Words mean )ery little if our li)es don<t reflect what we say- /t- *rancis ofAssisi once said$ FPreach the ospel always; and if necessary; use words-G Thatis; the words we use are secondary to the way we li)e our li)es-

Ha)e you e)er met people who said all the right things; 3ut when you were withthem; something didn<t feel uite right= It<s as if there<s a radar detector withinus that feels what our mind alone can<t sense- (n the other hand; ha)e you e)er

3een with those who said )ery little; 3ut you find yourself ine"plica3ly happywhen you<re in their presence= These are the ones who ha)e perfected the art ofbeing the essential ingredient to attracting e)erything you could e)er desire-

These ten 6eys are guidelines; and there are others you may add as well- Theyaren<t in any particular order since e)eryone will ha)e a different e"perience

according to their own personal ma6eup- &ead them and find ways to integratethem into your own life- Most of all; don<t try to analy?e them with your logical

mind as much as li)e them in the ordinary moments of your life-

We often e"pect our li)es to 3e determined 3y e"traordinary e"periences when

it<s usually the e)eryday situations that teach us the most-

1. e :lea

9ou<)e pro3a3ly heard the saying F e careful what you as6 for 3ecause you 2ust might get it-G Ha)e you e)er 3een in a situation where you thought youwanted something>really wanted it>and then put all your energy intoachie)ing that goal; only to find out that it wasn<t what you wanted at all= 9oumay ha)e also e"perienced the ina3ility to focus enough on a specific goal andended up attracting something that didn<t fully align with the original intention-

Clarity is one of the most important 6eys to manifesting what you want- If yourthoughts aren<t clear; then the Bni)erse>that is; od>doesn<t 6now how orwhat to gi)e you- If there<s something you<)e already determined for yourselfremem3er that you should ne)er try to create something for another personN;write a list of e)ery detail you can thin6 of; e)ery attri3ute and characteristicthat defines the goal- Loo6 at this list often and add to it- *ocus on the details asclearly as you can and imagine them in your mind- od lo)es clear thoughts;while the ego lo)es what is confused and muddled-

Clarity also means simplicity- The simpler you ma6e the details; the straighterthe shot will 3e- Try not to o)ercomplicate your goal; 3ut allow it to re)eal itselfto you in as straightforward a manner as possi3le- If it<s clear to you; it will also

3e clear to od; and the path to achie)ing your desire will he unencum3ered-

2. e &;en

9our mind is li6e a parachute>it wor6s 3est when it<s open- It<s hard to arguewith that logic- A closed mind is no use to anyone 3ecause it 3elie)es it already6nows the path to wal6 and may therefore miss new opportunities when they

present themsel)es- The a3ility to remain open when your mind or heart is fi"edon a particular o32ect or outcome may 3e a tric6y proposition; 3ut it<s essentialin attracting the energy re uired for manifesting your dreams-

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/152249632-the-moses-code 82/96

eing clear and open may initially seem li6e opposing concepts- In the firstcase; you were as6ed to clearly define e"actly what you<re determined tomanifest- 0ow you<re 3eing as6ed to 3e open to new mo)ements>anything the

Bni)erse may send in your direction that either amplifies or clarifies the desiredgoal- In reality; they are supporti)e; one following the other- (nce you<)eclearly defined the desired e"perience and ha)e set your mind to a particularform; you then open yourself to e)ery possi3le )ariation- It<s as if you declare tothe Bni)erse$ FThis or more-G

eing open is the same as surrendering; an e"perience that is foreign to the ego 3ut is completely comforta3le for the soul- To the ego; surrendering is the sameas failure@ to the soul; it<s the first step toward ultimate )ictory- It shows odthat you<re willing to trust a higher )ision>one that you<ll 3e ready to em3raceat any gi)en moment- In this way; openness and clarity go together; li6e twosi3lings who may 3e different 3ut can<t li)e without each other-

3. e Willing

9our willingness to o3ser)e; a3sor3; and then release e)erything that comesinto your consciousness will help determine how easily it flows into your life-egin 3y o3ser)ing what you desire$

O Is it something that will ser)e more than your own self7interests> that is; would it 3enefit humanity and the whole world as well= If it<ssomething that fills your cup alone; then it isn<t worthy 3ecause it won<tteach you the higher lesson that e)ery gift you offer to another wasalready within you-

O Is it something that you can a3sor3 into your heart as well as your

mind= It<s important that you<re a3le to feel the gift you<re a3out torecei)e; for your mind alone can<t contain the higher goals that you trulydesire- In other words; don<t sell yourself short- A new car is a wonderfulgift and something you can certainly manifest and appreciate; 3ut does itgenuinely inspire your heart= Would it inspire the hearts of others=9ou<re capa3le of a3sor3ing so much; so go for it-

O Are you a3le to release or surrender the goal; then trust that it willflow to you naturally and easily= If not; you may find yourself forcing

what was ne)er intended to 3e yours- Try to resist the urge for your ego to

lead the way; and allow od to gi)e you e)erything that already 3elongsto you-

4. e %a;;

This is a 6ey that can<t 3e o)eremphasi?ed- As you<)e read; od<s will for youis perfect 2oy- Perfect Hoy! This means there<s a degree of happiness that neitherthe world nor the ego can understand 3ut your heart is constantly stri)ing toachie)e- This is what you truly desire; for it<s the 2oy that 3ridges Hea)en and!arth- y accepting this; you also 3ecome a sym3ol to others who are as worthyof this gift as you are- The more you reali?e that you deser)e perfect 2oy andaccept it; you 3ecome the 6ind of teacher the world needs most- 9ou<re ane"ample of the only thing that fulfills each one of us-

oes happiness seem li6e a small thing to you= The truth is that we oftensacrifice it in order to recei)e the gifts our ego desires; neglecting the simplerthings that ser)e us on deeper and more essential le)els- This is usually lin6edto how we<re percei)ed 3y others in the world- *eeding a person who is in needmight satisfy you more than eating in the fanciest restaurant- Helping someonewho is homeless might fill you with more 2oy than adding a new addition toyour own home- 9our soul doesn<t see6 what pumps up your feelings of self7worth- It<s happy only when you gi)e this gift to others>then your self7worth ise"panded in ways that the mind can ne)er comprehend-

5. e F!$#-e"

/tay focused on what<s 3ehind the goal rather than on the goal itself- As6yourself; why am & seeking this gift in the first place2 1hat’s the motivatingdesire that &’m not looking at2 Perhaps you<re concentrating on attracting a new

home- What<s the moti)ating desire or need that<s inspiring you to create this=May3e you don<t feel safe where you<re li)ing now; or you don<t feel a3undantin your house- *ocus for a moment on that; really feel it; and then as6 yourselfwhere it<s coming from- (nce you disco)er the answer; focus on fulfilling whatlies deeper in your heart- This will allow the perfect home to appear on its own-It may not 3e the one you first en)isioned>It may 3e simpler or smaller thanyour first choice>3ut you<ll 3e satisfied with it in a way you wouldn<t ha)e

3een with one that was larger or more grandiose- This is 3ecause you tuned in toyour inner self and fulfilled the deeper desire of your soul-

We usually thin6 of locus as something that<s fi"ed and straight- I suggestthin6ing of it as fluid and flowing- When you reali?e that your mind doesn<talways 6now what<s 3est for you and that a strict; unyielding mind7set might

attract something that doesn<t ser)e your highest good; then opening to aflowing focus starts to ma6e sense- Trust that your heart 6nows more than yourmind when it comes to these things; and let a more gentle focus guide your path-

6. e E ;e$tant

Always e"pect the 3estE Affirm that e)erything you desire will come to youeasily and naturally- &emem3er that energy flows where attention goes- Ifyou<re focused on creating something 3ut your inner thoughts are fi"ed onfailure; that<s what you<ll attract- !nergy; li6e water; always see6s the deepestwell or spring and naturally flows in its direction- Try to 3ecome aware of yourdeeper thoughts and impulses; and if needed; e"tend some lo)e in theirdirection- *ocusing lo)e usually means that you<re open; understanding; anduncritical- 9ou<ll disco)er that you<ll 3e a3le to soothe your dou3ts 3etter withlo)e rather than criticism- 0egati)e attention only ser)es to reinforce the

patterns that created the 3loc6; whereas lo)ing76indness dissol)es e)erything inits path-

We<)e all heard the saying F!"pect a miracle-G This is )ery good ad)ice; 3ecause what you truly e"pect will always 3e yours- The tric6 is to unco)er theimpulses that determine what you<re really as6ing for; not 2ust what<s mosto3)ious- Then you<ll 3e a3le to proceed with a clear mind and open heart; andwhate)er you as6 for will 3e yours- That<s one of the most crucial lessons tolearn in the art of attraction$ od always gi)es you what you as6 for- /o stopas6ing for what you don’t want; and e"pect what you do# This is the sign of truemastery-

7. e Ene geti$

The higher the impulse; the more energetic the response- In other words; yourenergy usually increases when you as6 for what your soul really wants- *ore"ample; imagine that your attention is focused on manifesting a new car- /ome

people are e"tremely passionate a3out automo3iles; 3ut most simply follow thecurrent trends or opinions- oes the desire for a new car align with what your

soul desires= What might inspire you more= Perhaps you<)e always wanted totra)el 3ut ne)er had the chance; or you<)e wanted to pic6 up a particular s6ill or

new ho33y 3ut ha)en<t had the confidence to do that either- Planning an around7the7world cruise would create more positi)e energy than a car; as woulddeciding to ta6e art lessons- @et your passion be your guide and the energy

reIuired will follow#

eing energetic is also contagious- If you,re spea6ing to friends and aredescri3ing something that you<re trying to attract into your life 3ut they don<tfeel any passion 3ehind your focus; then they won<t 3e a3le to help you 3yadding more energy- Howe)er; if they feel inspired 3y your )ision; two thingswill pro3a3ly happen- *irst; they<ll fuel your enthusiasm 3y adding more energyto yours- /econd; they<ll 3e positi)ely influenced 3y your energy and will goout and create something for themsel)es>something that inspires their life- The6ey is to follow your heart; not your mind- 9ou heart is always a 3etter

3arometer of what Hea)en is choosing to add to your life-

8. e P!-iti/e

This 6ey is an a3solute- If you<re negati)e a3out what you<re trying to attract;the Bni)erse will interpret your negati)ity as not wanting and you won<tachie)e your goal-

The pro3lem is that this energy can sometimes 3e hard to discern- It hides inyour consciousness and e)ades the o3)ious mo)ements of your rational mind-That<s 3ecause the 3loc6s to your positi)ity are often nonrational e)en thoughthey wear the clothes of the most optimistic person you<)e e)er met- &emem3erthat e)ery thought or goal has a sponsoring thought> and there are alsosponsoring thoughts to your sponsoring thoughts- Is it starting to sound compli7cated=N The point is that your surface thoughts may not represent what<shappening 3eneath the surface; 3ut energy will still flow to the more powerful

force-

The 6ey isn<t to o)ercomplicate the issue and 3elie)e that you must unearthlayer after layer of 3eliefs that ha)e ruled your life- /imply 3e willing to loo6and then 3less- /ometime these negati)e 3eliefs 2ust need you to ac6nowledgethem; and then they can mo)e on their way- As long as you<re conscious ofthem; they can 3e addressed uic6ly and effecti)ely- Then you<ll 3e a3le tomo)e on to the ne"t step-

9. e T #e

This 6ey follows from where the last one left off- eing true is the same as 3eing honest>something that<s re uired if you want to successfully manifestyour heart<s desire- &emem3er that the Bni)erse always see6s to gi)e you whatyou really want- ut if you<re confused a3out what you desire; the Bni)erse will

3e unsure a3out what to gi)e you- Most of these lessons are focused on helpingyou 3e clear>then to clearly manifest-

Many people thin6 that all they need to do is follow a simple list of instructions;and e)erything will directly flow to them- In theory this is accurate; 3ut mostindi)iduals ha)en<t done the inner wor6 that<s re uired in order to allow the

process to 3e successful- They run through the directions they<)e 3een gi)enand it doesn<t wor6- /ome then decide that they aren<t li6e others who are a3leto attract good things; 3elie)ing they don<t ha)e the a3ility to achie)e theirdesires- This is unfortunate; as it<s a gift that each one of us possesses to thesame degree simply 3ecause we were all created 3y the same od- The onlydifference is that some people ha)e completed their inner wor6 and othersha)en<t- eing true means 3eing true to yourself; and this is a gift that no onecan gi)e you 3ut… guess who=

9ou ha)e to 3e honest with yourself- There<s no su3stitute for this; and no onecan 3e honest for you- 9ou can practice all the 6eys to manifestation that you<re

3eing offered here; 3ut if you<re not willing to 3e true; you<ll only succeed inattracting what doesn<t ser)e your highest good- 0otice that I didn<t say thatyou<d 3e 3ound to fail 3ecause failure is impossi3le- The uestion to as6yourself is$ %ow do & succeed in attracting what my soul wants2 The answer isto always do the wor6 that<s re uired to sweep away the limiting 3eliefs thatha)e 3een 3loc6ing you- Then e)erything you truly want will flow naturally in

your direction; all 3ecause you were honest with yourself and willing to loo6closely at the hidden desires that you weren<t a3le to see 3efore-

10. e ate #l.

ratitude is perhaps the most important 6ey to attracting e)erything youdeser)e- It<s the acti)ating force that od can<t deny; and the Bni)erse 3ows to

a heart filled with i)ine appreciation- And you are no different- Whensomeone is grateful for a gift you<)e offered or a small act of 6indness you<)e

shown; it ma6es you want to gi)e e)en more- (n the other hand; if you offer agift to someone and the recei)er is ungrateful; you may 3e offended- At the )eryleast; you<ll 3e less li6ely to gi)e again 3ecause you feel that the gift won<t 3e

fully appreciated-The Bni)erse wor6s in a similar way; so 3e grateful for e)ery gift from od; nomatter how 3ig or small- od doesn<t understand the difference 3etween smallgifts and large ones>they<re all the same 3ecause they come from the sameheart- In addition; 3e grateful for your failures as well as your successes- Wetend to learn more from the ways we don<t succeed than we do from successitself- (nce the lesson has 3een learned; you can mo)e forward and a)oidma6ing the same mista6e again; all 3ecause you were grateful in a way thatcompletely transcends logic-

!)eryone in the world at one time or another has felt unworthy of attractinggoodness into their li)es- Perhaps a difficult childhood or other traumatic e"pe7riences ha)e led us to adopt these limiting or de)astating 3eliefs a3outoursel)es- We sometimes assume that these thoughts are laid out in concreteand we<ll ne)er 3e a3le to mo)e past them- Howe)er; the opposite is true-

9ou ha)e the opportunity to 3e re3orn and ha)e the fresh start you<)e 3eendenying yourself- The first step is to 6now that it<s possi3le and then to step intothat possi3ility- Are you ready= If you say yes; a 3rand7new world awaits youright now-

9ou are worthy of e)ery gift you desire for one reason$ ?ou’re a perfect child

of God in this and every moment# &eading this 3oo6 means that you ha)e atleast some 3elief in the Bni)ersal Power we sometimes call od- It doesn<treally matter how you practice; 3ut the 6nowledge that there<s a force 3eyondyour own limited a3ilities is )ital in releasing the patterns that ha)e controlledyou until now-

I 3elie)e that od sees each one of us as whole and perfect regardless of whatwe<)e done in the past or what we<ll do in the future- In other words; od lo)esus for who we are right now- If this is true; none of the terri3le things you<)e

done in the past mean anything- They<re simply the e"periences that 3roughtyou to this moment; and it<s here that you can accept a new )ision>the one

held 3y od that allows you to attract into your life e)erything that is good andworthy of a perfect child of od- Then you<ll 3e a3le to see yourself e"actly asod sees you and 6now that you<re worthy of e)ery gift you<)e pre)iously

denied yourself-

2. N!t ea"

In the pre)ious section; I as6ed if you 3elie)e that you<re ready to accept thegifts you deser)e- I<m hoping you said yes; for your admission of this fact is the

3eginning of your final acceptance of e)erything that<s already yours- /o whatdoes that mean e"actly=

As I<)e e"plained many times; the gifts you truly want are the ones that arealready within you; not outside of you- The ego see6s to get the things it

percei)es as outside itself in order to secure a longer life; while your spirit>oryour soul>see6s to give the things you really want; there3y reali?ing that theywere already there within you-

What are these gifts= Perhaps one we can all agree on is lo)e; as we<re allsee6ing to e"perience it in e)ery area of our li)es- We want to 3e lo)ed 3y ourchildren; our partner; our friends; and e)en people we 3arely 6now- We desirethis 3ecause we ultimately want to 3elie)e that we<re lo)a3le>that is; worthyof 3eing lo)ed-

Therefore; most of the things your ego see6s are designed to ma6e you seemmore lo)a3le- Why= ecause the ego has a )ery different )ision of you thanod does- od percei)es you to 3e completely deser)ing of lo)e no matter whatyou thin6; say; or do- 9our ego; on the other hand; rarely accepts this- !)enwhen you pro)e yourself to 3e lo)ing; it dou3ts that it will last- Around the

corner; there surely lies e)idence that pro)es you don<t deser)e to 3e lo)ed- /oyour ego con2ures up an ela3orate charade that attempts to show others that itsnegati)e )ision of you isn<t true- It 3egins gathering things around you that it

3elie)es will help you fool others- If you ha)e the right car; an ela3orate house;or anything else it designs; then you<ll 3e worthy of the attention of someone farmore wonderful than you-

od doesn<t 3elie)e anything li6e this- There<s nothing you can accumulatearound you that can alter the truth- od sees you as holy; and the only thing that

is worthy of one so holy is lo)e itself- Therefore; od spreads lo)e 3efore your

e)ery step; 3ut its effect is lost unless you<re willing to claim it for yourself-9ou<re challenged to trust one )oice or the other-

Desus said; F0o one can ser)e two mastersG Mt $%+N- 9ou also can<t trust twodifferent )oices; especially when they completely contradict one another- 9ouare either holy or )ile- Which will you choose= If you choose holiness and aredeser)ing of lo)e; you<ll 3e as6ed to offer that gift to someone else- Then you<ll

3e a3le to claim it for yourself- It<s only when you act as od in the world> gi)ing to others what they deser)e>will you disco)er that the gifts you trulywant ha)e always 3een within you- They were hidden; yes; and e)en forgotten;

3ut they ne)er left you- Through this act of ser)ice; you disco)er the truth ofwho you are; and in doing so; you reali?e that you<re ready for anything-

3. N!t :lea

(ne of the things that may 3loc6 you from reali?ing your heart<s intent is thatyou<re not clear a3out what you<re really as6ing for- As I wrote 3efore; you may

3e clear a3out what you think you<re re uesting; 3ut if something else isappearing in your life; then there<s an issue you<re not consciously aware of-

9ou already 6now that od gi)es you e)erything you as6 for- If you want to6now what you really want; simply loo6 at what<s showing up in your life- It<sthe perfect ar3itrator since it ne)er lies- If you thin6 you<re as6ing for the

perfect relationship 3ut you consistently attract people who don<t appreciateyou; ta6e you for granted; or ne)er listen to what you feel is important; thenwhat you<re actually as6ing for is someone who doesn<t appreciate you; ta6esyou for granted; and doesn<t listenE

(6ay; let<s start there- !)en this can 3e a 3eginning for attracting what willser)e your soul- Let<s ta6e the 2udgment out of the e uation and simply be clear

a3out what<s really happening- In your mind; you<re as6ing for the perfect partner; 3ut what 6eeps showing up is someone who<s as imperfect as you- Ah;may3e there<s a clue here- If e)erything you percei)e is really a reflection of thedecisions you<re ma6ing a3out yourself; then it<s your opinion a3out you thatneeds to change>not your opinion of the other person-

0ow we<re getting a clearer picture- As I<)e said; inner wor6 is usually re uiredto undo the limiting 3eliefs that ha)e pre)iously held you 3ac6- The uestion is;do you want to continue to see yourself in this light; or are you willing to 3egin

anew= Why not 3egin focusing on the things a3out you that you really lo)e=/ince e)erything you focus on increases; this may 3e the perfect e"ercise- et a

)i)id picture of the parts of yourself that you really want to attract instead of the parts you don<t- It 3egins with clarity; 3ut it will end with your recei)ing whatyour soul has 3een longing for-

4. N!t Ent,#-ia-ti$

(ne of the 6eys to attracting what you really want is to 3e energetic a3out yourdesires- The more energy you gi)e something; the more it will gi)e 3ac6 to you-!nthusiasm is )ery similar to this and should 3e )iewed in the same light-

If you aren<t enthusiastic a3out what you<re creating; the Bni)erse won<t ta6eyou seriously- *or e"ample; if you meet someone you<re attracted to and areinterested in as6ing this person out for a date; it<s customary to show someenthusiasm- It gi)es the other person the signal that you thin6 he or she isspecial; and your energy alone may 3e enough to get a date-

ut what happens if you show no eagerness at all= 9ou as6 the person out withlittle emotion and in a monotone )oice; and this indi)idual will pro3a3ly loo6 atyou and thin6 you<re 6idding; assuming that there must 3e some other agenda

3ecause you clearly aren<t interested in going on a real date-

When you approach the Bni)erse in this way; you achie)e the same results- It<simportant to get e"cited a3out what you<re as6ing for since it<s a form ofenergy- We<)e already esta3lished that gi)ing and recei)ing are the same thing;and the more energy you gi)e; the more you<ll recei)e- 9ou can<t e"pect to getsomething you don<t gi)e; so don<t e"pect od to gi)e you something you<renot really committed to- !nthusiasm is a form of commitment; so 3e selecti)eand only focus on what you<re really passionate a3out-

5. N!t &;en

It<s impossi3le to wal6 through a door that isn<t open- Li6ewise; it<s impossi3lefor you to recei)e anything if you aren<t open- /ome of the 3loc6s I<m sharingmay seem completely o3)ious; yet these are the ones that are commonlymissed- Dust 3ecause something is out in the open doesn<t mean that we see it-We may also )iew it with our mind 3ut not percei)e it with our heart>in otherwords; we don<t really understand it and won<t 3e open to recei)ing it-

on,t 3e fooled into thin6ing that you already 6now all of this>or worse still;that you<re immune to these 3loc6s- ()er the years; I<)e learned that I<mimmune to nothing- I fall into the same traps as e)eryone else; and it helps to

remind myself that I still ha)e some growing to do-Dust 3ecause you<)e learned something; it doesn<t mean the lesson is o)er-Thin6 a3out this$ The only real 2ourney you e)er ta6e is a 2ourney of 1' inches

> from the mind to the heart- I can<t tell you how many times I<)e studied alesson in my mind 3ut then failed to practice it in a real situation- I<)e alsocaught myself forgetting something I already learned without e)en reali?ing thatI was doing it- It<s important to ac6nowledge that you<re always growing andgetting 3etter- e open to seeing your challenges as well as your )ictories- Thisis the surest way to continue e)ol)ing; attracting what you truly desire withgreater e"pertise-

6. N!t %ealt,

The following uestion is simple; and it<s )ital that you answer it as clearly andhonestly as possi3le$ .oes the goal you seek create harmony or discord2

This is essentially what health is$ 3alance and harmony- If the goal you<refocusing on sets you off 3alance and doesn<t promote your well73eing on e)eryle)el; then I suggest you either release it or allow it to shift to something new> something that promotes good health in e)ery way- 9ou certainly ha)e the

power within you to create whate)er you choose> what 3lesses and heals youas well as what 3rings di)ision and discord into your life-

&emem3er; though; that whate)er you offer to others and the world you alsooffer to yourself- 9ou may e)en use the Moses Code to hurt another person; 3ut

3e )ery careful- Through this process; you<)e tread close to Hea)en; and it<simportant that this altar remains dear of anything other than the highest intent-Act as od would and use the power contained in the Code to promote well7

3eing and healing for e)eryone you encounter; and then it will surely 3e yours-

7. N!t Willing

If you<re not willing to wor6 toward the goal you see6; then it may 3e 3est to letit go and sa)e yourself the trou3le- This isn<t meant for those who wish to wa)e

out of shape; you may want to ta6e a loo6 at what you really want- This isn<tmeant to limit your creation in any way@ rather; it<s to recogni?e when your realmoti)ation is to seek but not find#

Bnfortunately; we sometimes set goals that we<ll ne)er achie)e in order to pro)e that we don<t really deser)e them- (ur ego wants to loo6 3ac6 and say;F/ee; I told you this wouldn<t wor6E 0ow go 3ac6 to where you 3elong-G
