Now is the time to pull out your cosiest winter knits and snuggle up, and perhaps treat yourself to a few new season piec- es..... Totally versatile, the knitted dress is going to be big this season. Dress it up with heels and your finest bling or wear with patterned tights and boots for a more casual look. This jumper picks up on this years trend for nude tones and would look great with dark skinnies or leggings. For added glamour and interest, wear with chunky pat- terned bangles or a long pendant necklace a la Accessorize. Totally cute and 60’s is this silver sequinned wooly skull cap. This may just beat your nans hand- knitted hat in the style stakes! For autumn casual wear throw on with a leather jacket and a silver bangle or two, don’t feel com- pelled to keep the sequin thing going though. One piece for daywear is more than enough Freshers, by now you may have noticed that there is a little bit of rivalry between Leeds University and the much better Leeds Metropolitan ;) We attempt to solve our differences in mini “face-offs”; which uni is the loudest in Academy on a Tuesday night, who can think of the rudest chants at the rugby, who sends the most offensive texts to those screens that pop up in clubs around the city.... and apparently, who has the tallest campus building (we are currently winning with the newly constructed Broadcasting Place Tower, which exceeds Leeds uni’s Parkinson building by 12 meters...in. your.
