About the ACTS Conference...

The 15th International Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) conference will provide learning and networking opportunities for professionals and students working in all areas of sustainability across campus and surrounding communities. Coming together under the theme of “refocus + renew” delegates will share new ideas and successes, whilst advancing knowledge of current and emerging themes.

The event attracts participants that are actively engaged in sustainability initiatives within areas covering curriculum, environmental management, facilities, finance, social responsibility and community engagement. Conference attendees include:

About the Awards...Held in conjunction with the annual ACTS Conference, the Green Gown Awards Australasia is the first and only award scheme dedicated to recognising excellence in sustainability within the tertiary education sector in Australia and New Zealand. Now in their sixth year, the Awards aim to recognise those institutions leading the way. Founded in the UK in 2004, the Awards have grown in size, reputation and prestige year on year, gaining high credibility and recognition within the sector.

Building on the national successes the International Awards, now in their third year, allow UK, Australasian, and French Speaking Europe & Canadian winners to compete for the international title in three categories!

Run by ACTS, the 2015 winners will be announced at a fabulous dinner and Awards ceremony on 22 October 2015 at The Pier on the Geelong Waterfront.

Sponsorship Terms and ConditionsSponsors submit this application in understanding and agreement that:

• Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (herein referred to as “ACTS”) reserves the right to judge the appropriateness of any sponsorship applicant and to decline sponsorship if the organisation is in any respect deemed unsuitable as a sponsor.• Sponsorship places will be offered on a first-come first-served basis, subject to the above condition, upon ACTS receiving the completed ‘Application to Sponsor’ form. Sponsorship places will be not reserved or withheld from other interested parties until ACTS receives this completed application form.• Sponsorship places will be confirmed in writing along with an invoice for payment (please note the Australian Good and Services Tax (GST) at 10% is applicable to all packages outlined in this propsectus). Sponsor applicants must adhere to the payment terms of the invoice, as sponsorship will not become effective until agreed payment has been received. If agreed payment has not been received according to the terms of the invoice, ACTS reserves the right to offer your requested sponsor package to another organisation.• All cancellations of sponsorship must be received in writing to ACTS at [email protected]. Refunds will be issued, minus 30% of the package cost if cancellation is received by the 01/09/2015. After this deadline no refunds will be issued.• Sponsorship monies contribute to the successful planning and promotion of the ACTS conference in addition to subsidising the costs of management, communication, invited speakers, programme, publications etc. Sponsorship monies are not expected on any entertainment incurred which is incidental to the activities of the conference and, on this basis, sponsorship monies are tax deductible.• Sponsorship exposure and acknowledgement is facilitated by credits on the conference pages of the ACTS website and the ACTS Conference website.• Provision of banners and any other promotional material is the responsibility of the Sponsor.• Colour reproductions will, when printed, be as close to the specified colour as practical.• Information provided in the sponsorship prospectus is correct at the time of going to print. The conference organisers reserve the right to amend existing unsold sponsorship or add additional sponsorship packages as required without notice to confirmed sponsors and exhibitors. • Once sponsorship has been confirmed, further logistics will be available and confirmed with the venue. All bump in, bump out times and venue specific requirements will be made available as early as possible.• Deadline of content for entry into the ACTS conference delegate guide will be 01/10/2015.• Sponsors can receive the conference delegate list prior to the start of the conference (subject to completion this will be no earlier than 1 week prior to the conference and no later than the start of the week of the conference).
