Every day that I work on Signal I ask myself two things: “How can we make our connection to our customers stronger?” and “What sets us apart from everyone else?”
A lot of our strong customer connection and loyalty has come from our Media. Shows like ETT (Every Third Thursday) and the upcoming Signal Life open the factory doors to the internet
and showcase how we live and work. Signal operates through partnerships, interesting snowboard builds and our constant search for new adventure. I believe this insight into snowboard
manufacturing and the willingness to share this adventure has created a personal bond with our viewers. Our intent —in the beginning— was just to try something new. It turns out that
snowboarders see themselves in what we do and that has created a great community.
We’re a small company. Small can be challenging, but small can be great. With our Live Chat and a direct phone line, our customers get the answers they need right away. We take a very
personal interest in every customer’s situation. And because we’re small, we can be quite flexible. We’re dedicated to our US factory. Not only does our factory set us apart from other
companies, our factory gives us the opportunity to customize and grow. The factory is stronger than ever. A partnership with our new engineers has produced new Capped Wall™ Construction
and Urethane Wraps on the boards. We are so thrilled with these technologies. This is what having your own factory is all about.
And, of course, Signal wouldn’t be Signal without all its personalities. Our Team Riders are our ambassadors and our inspirations behind the series we build. John Jackson, Jake OE,
Yusaku Horii, Cody Bieresdorf, and Kas Lemmens are always pushing next level on the hill or in the streets. We are very proud of our small business and the flexibility we have to challenge
the market and our industry in new ways. We always encourage and welcome your thoughts or ideas and we most certainly look forward to working with you this year!
We love to snowboard. We love the outdoors. We love an adventure.
And we love the connection.
Join us!

Signal. A Better Connection.
16.17 seASaONsignalsnowboards.com
We’re building snowboards here at home in Huntington Beach. And we’re building a community.
We joined forces with a pair of engineers this year who truly understand Signal at its core. Together, we are introducing some new construction and shapes to our line such as the patent pending Urethane Wrap by Lithe Technologies. Sidewalls like skate wheels provide dampening and durability.
Skate Minnesota. This year we turned Jake OE’s board into an entire line. This series is specifically designed for streets and parks. Extra long contact length packs extra centimeters into the board while keeping the overall length of the board shorter.
We brought the Omni back and it’s better than ever. This board has no fiberglass or topsheet—just beautiful carbon. You’ll see new shapes on boards like the Siren Maiden. We shared the quad-sidecut in John Jackson’s Sierra Series with a couple other boards. And there’s so much more…enjoy!

Park Series Built specifically for snowboard parks and streets, the Park Series was created in 2006 to serve as a progression-friendly snowboard with a soft flex for butters and presses. Evolving over the years and now redesigned for 2017, the new shape and new price make it affordable and easy to ride. It has a radial sidecut and mid-wide waist width good for larger boot sizes. The flex is soft, which makes it the go-to board that allows you to quickly add new tricks to your shred game.

The Disruptor is a board that goes anywhere. Backcountry, parks or streets, the Disruptor is built for speed, larger jumps and faster lines. With a radial side cut, medium flex and mid-wide waist width good for larger feet, the Disruptor provides stability at high speeds and a stiffer flex for more stompability on larger jumps.

troubador Rock on and enjoy the looseness and freedom that only the Troubadour can provide. Rocker technology allows you to master the basics or enjoy a more surfy feel because of the reverse bend in the board. Our reverse camber starts in the center of the snowboard between the inserts and follows out to a 5-Degree lift at the nose and tail. The Troubadour is a great board for beginners and riders that like it loose and less catchy edge to edge.

cody hails from Minnesota and has helped groom the next level riding we’ve seen out of the Mid-West. You can see Cody’s style from a mile away as he makes the most difficult tricks look easy. Cody’s board blends that high paced Minnesota lap line with the need for confidence in presses and flex in the streets. Cody’s board is built like a Disruptor but with a specialty flex and a carbon X on the tail for strength.

the omni is back and better than ever. With a patent pending new cap construction, this board requires no fiberglass and no topsheet—just beautiful carbon fiber and stunning seamless urethane around the entire board. You’ll notice new interesting shapes on boards like the Siren Maiden, Disruptor and Cody. And last but not least we shared the John Jackson’s Sierra Series quad-sidecut with the EPIC and OMNI. We couldn’t be more excited…. enjoy!

Minnesota Series by Jake O.E.
New for 2017, we worked with Jake Olson-Elm to create an entirely new board line. This series was designed by Jake for the city streets and snowboard parks by packing extra centimeters into the contact length but keeping a shorter overall length. Different than any other board in the line, the steep nose and tail profiles are built to enhance tricks that have evolved in streets. The Minnesota Series has a medium flex for presses at high speed, and a radial side-cut and centered stance for more progressive snowboarding. Series

Sierra Series by John Jackson
John Jackson is one of the world’s best snowboarders. After winning X-Games Real Snow Gold this past season (2015) on his limited edition Sierra Series, we couldn’t be more proud to share this updated version that is ready for the masses. John pushes limits in all aspects of life so it was no surprise when he dove head first into bringing the Sierra Series manu-facturing and design to his level. John is responsible for the Directional Quad Side-cuts in the line this year and they were built to hold an edge at high speed and for traversing across steeps. He specifically designed this side cut to hold a heel edge as well as the toe edge. The mid-wide waist widths are good for both regular and larger boot sizes. The Series has a medium tip to tail flex, with very thin tip and tail profiles to cut down swing weight. The Sierra Series at its core it built to handle the some of the gnarliest terrain one can get themselves into on the mountain. If you’re not at John’s level, this is still a great board for holding an edge riding with speed and it gives you the ability to make micro-corrections with ease.

The warm fuzzies.
We’ve seriously stepped up our game this year when it comes to apparel. We’ve got tees, sweatshirts, jackets, beanies and hats—everything you need to keep yourself covered, warm and rockin’ with some Signal love.
All of the tees are available in three colorways in sizes Small through Double Extra Large. They aren’t overly slim fitting, nor are they too boxy. They’re just right.
The Coach’s jacket is a great piece for layering with a hoodie or just by itself on a spring day. All of our designs this year are inspired by Signal touchstones like the IDEA FACTORY hat. Your head is an idea factory. Use it!

This board is built with carbon in place of fiberglass and standard topsheet material.
Proudly made in Huntington Beach California U.S.A
Carbon is added from tip to tail or edge to edge for extra strength.
Tips are in the air and that gives you a loose, floaty ride.
Yep! Just like skateboard wheels. Urethane gives to dampening and durability.
It’s got camber in the middle of the board and Rocker on the tips.
Because it’s powered by the sun.
There’s carbon in an X pattern on the tail for landing strength.
It’s the spring in your board. Depress to engage the sidecut.
Part or all of this board was handpainted by the folks at Signal.
Not, camber or rocker—It’s Flat!
