Double your impact / DYIFrom its beginning in 1921, CCC has moved forward by listening to God’s leading for future direction. In 2010 following an extended season of prayer, CCC elders, pastors, staff and key leaders responded to God’s prompting by initiating a spiritual journey with exponential impact. This vision, overwhelmingly embraced, is a promise

to make disciples of Jesus for Kingdom Impact and a commitment to fund the vision with $9.5 million over three years.By faith as campus impact is maximized, citywide impact multiplied and global impact magnified, thousands will join the family of God. As the blessings of this generation are added to the spiritual foundations of CCC’s rich spiritual

heritage, children will mature in Christ, neighborhood congregations will be born, disciples will emerge and love will be poured out worldwide.

If you have not added your voice and influence to the vision or you would like to know more, pick up a DYI packet today.

Mike & Sue Farho (Tunisia) / Pray that God will give the church wisdom and that those who are baptized make even greater steps forward in obedience to God's word.

Carolyn Thorson (Gabon) / Pray that Carolyn will get settled back into her life and ministry after being in the USA for the past year.

Carey Shlieker (Mali) / Pray that God would provide the right vehicle at the right time for my work here in Segou.

Mali / Continue to pray for Mali and the unrest caused by the rebellion in the north. Pray for the Christians in the north who are being persecuted.

The Great Commission FundThe Great Commission Fund (GCF) is your opportunity to reach a lost world with the hope of Jesus. The GCF gives Alliance missionaries and creative access workers the freedom to answer their call to ministry without the worry of raising funds, depending instead on God to supply their needs through the giving of faithful people. Partner with the Alliance to build Christ’s church around the world with your giving to the GCF. Designate your gift weekly or a one-time gift on your offering envelope or through eGiving at cccomaha.org/give.

Update from Dr. Dan Nessleroade in MaliCCC has been blessed to partner with amazing missionaries in Mali for the past 9 years. Dr. Dan Nesselroade, the Medical Director at the Hospital for Women and Children in Koutiala, has been a faithful servant for many years. "It has been a turbulent 2012 for the country of Mali. The coup d’état in March and the subsequent fall of the north to salafist groups have thrown the country into disarray. Al Qaeda appears to be our northern neighbor for the foreseeable future, as the UN doesn’t forecast troops on the ground here until September of 2013 at the earliest. Of course everyone is hoping for a peaceful solution, it just seems hard to imagine that any lasting peace could be negotiated.

Life has been pretty normal here in Koutiala. The hospital has continued to grow despite the unrest. If my numbers are correct, we should deliver baby number 10,000 this month or next. We had a record of 189 deliveries in October. October also saw the addition of over 200 solar panels at the hospital to supplement the power. This should reduce our electric bill dramatically and free up income for salaries and growth.

Many of you ask about our chicken farming project at Bethel Bible school. We have about 930 chickens that are actively laying over 700 eggs a day. I do little more than check up on it now, as it is being successfully managed by Malians and I am swamped at the hospital. But it gives me great joy to watch them succeeding and reaping such a profit from their efforts. There seems to still always be an egg crisis here in town, so I think enough market is there to easily double our production in years to come, and still not meet the demand.

Blessings, Dr. Dan Nesselroade"

Financial resources are a blessing, a result of God’s provision and a tool to be used to worship God. Followers of Christ acknowledge that material possessions belong to God and the return of money to the local church is an investment in the Kingdom.

What should I know about Kingdom investing? It is a privilege to participate in the work of the local church by contributing cheerfully, sacrificially and generously (emphasis on 2 Corinthians 8 and 9). Through prayer, seek a clear conscience in regard to investing in the work God has given CCC to accomplish. If you are visiting or you are not yet a follower of Christ, make today’s priority to focus on the larger issue: the relationship God offers through Jesus. Contact Tim Perry if you have questions about your faith journey / [email protected].

How do I participate?Participate during services at both campuses or set up eGiving online. You may also place checks or cash in the secure giving box on the wall near the office entrance at the Old Mill Campus. An offering envelope is required to obtain a receipt for cash offerings. Contribution envelopes can be obtained at the Old Mill Campus from the Office Services Window, and service venues. At the Bellevue Campus, they are located at the Information Table. Contact Doni Gregory at [email protected] / 402.938.1512 to receive preprinted envelopes. eGiving registration is also available at cccomaha.org.
