Parish Announcements

Stop by our table outside after the first 3 Masses today to get a cup of coffee or juice , or donut for 50¢. The OLV bookstore in the church basement is also open after the first 3 Masses.

Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Andrew Gabriel Haynos of Crouse, NC, and Charlotte Marie Jones

from ICC, who are to be married on October 6, 2018 at ICC. Any persons knowing of any impediments to this union

are obliged, under conscience, to notify the Pastor as soon as possible.

Confessions When school is in session, the 8 am Wednesday morning confessions will be for the ICA boys only.

The 8 am Confessions on Friday morning are for the parish. Please note that from now on the priests on Tuesday and

Thursday evenings will remain in the confessional until at least 8:15 pm and on Saturday mornings until at least

10:15 am. The priests will remain as long as necessary to complete all the confessions but please be considerate of

the priests and try not to wait until the last minute to come, especially if you have a large family, so the priests can

participate in 8:30 pm Compline, as required by our Statutes.

Thursday Benediction Time Starting this week, Thursday Benediction will begin at 5:30 pm instead of 6:30 pm

ICC Marriage Getaway - Only 4 spots remaining!

The 2nd Annual ICC Marriage Getaway will be October 5 - 7, 2018 at the beautiful Schweitzer Mountain Re-

sort. Fr Todd Angele will be leading the weekend and will be available for consultations and confessions. Please

Parish Catechism will begin on Monday September 17th at 5 pm in the school. Students meet outside in the play-

ground area between the church and academy and then go to their classrooms. There will be four classes, First Com-

munion, Confirmation, Middle School and High-school. Registration forms are available in the office and complet-

ed forms should be returned to the office no later than this Wednesday, September 12th. Any children not in the

Academy, or St Dominics or enrolled in a Homeschool program that has daily Catechism lessons should be signed

up for these classes and should attend every week.

St. Martin’s Closet Clothes, Uniforms & Shoes—absolutely free! Adult and children’s clothes, school uniforms,

winter coats, etc. are from ICC parishioners for ICC parishioners. Open during school hours. Located on the right

side as you exit the ICA parking lot. Please come and pick up what you need and drop off what you no longer need.

Rosary March in CdA Please mark Saturday October 13th on your calendar for our annual Rosary March. This

will begin at 10:30 am in the parking lot of the Baymount Inn & Suites located on the corner of 23rd and Sherman

Avenues in CdA. We will walk down Sherman Ave. to Lake Coeur d’Alene praying the 15 decades of the Rosary

and singing Marian hymns. Come join us in honoring Our Lady publically on the anniversary date of the miracle of

the sun which took place in Fatima on October 13, 1917. God will certainly bless those who honor Our Lady!

Bridge Repair Please note that the N Idaho Street Bridge over I-90 will be under repair from Tuesday Sept. 11

through Thursday Sept. 20. During this period traffic movement will be reduced on this road so an alternate route is

recommended for accessing the Church and Academy.

Church Office Hours Now that school has resumed, the Parish Office is open Monday - Friday from 9 am to noon

and from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. The office is closed for Holy Days of Obligation and federal holidays.

Attention Ladies! If you borrow a head scarf or mantilla from the basket in the back of the church please return it

there, DO NOT drop them on the ledges by the side doors! This is not where they belong. Your cooperation in this

matter will be very much appreciated.

School Announcements

The ICC Student Honor Society is now enrolling new members! Applications are available to all 10th through 12th

graders who are members of ICC and meet the criteria. Pick up the explanation of criteria and applications in the

vestibule after Mass. Applications must be completed and returned by October 5th. Contact ICCSHSocie-

INK DROP PROGRAM Drop your used laser or inkjet cartridges in the box in the Church vestibule or bring them to

Mrs. Blanton at the Boys' Academy during school hours.

SAVE YOUR BOXTOPS Please donate your Box Tops 4 Education for the next Rome Trip. (Each is worth 10 cents so

they really add up!) This helps feed the boys on their trip to Rome. Box tops should be deposited in the medal tin in the

vestibule next to the Eucharistic Crusader Treasure Sheet Box.

Spiritual & Apostolic Societies

EUC Members The New Hostia booklets are now available so please pick up your copy in the vestibule near the

Eucharistic Crusade box. (Only one per family, please). Treasure sheets will be collected from the box and counted

over the summer, so please continue to submit them. Meetings will resume very soon.

Holy Name Sunday is today with Corporate Communion at the 8:30 am Mass and the meeting with a spiritual con-

ference by Fr Beck following. All men of the parish are invited to attend.
