Offering

Offertory What Does the Lord Require of You? Chancel Choir by Robert Hobby Karl Barton, Flute

What does the Lord require of you? Bind up the brokenhearted offering God’s peace. Strenghten the weak, offering God’s hope. Seek and find, find the face of Christ. Seek and find the face of Christ in each of God’s children.

What does the Lord require of you? Nurture the young and tend the old, offering God’s love. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, offering God’s compassion. Share the good news in the Name of Christ. Share the Good news; with God there is welcome for all!

What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, and love kindness, and to walk humbly with God.

Prayer of Dedication (responsive) Cory Hill Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.

*Doxology Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise God all creatures here below; praise God above, ye heavenly hosts; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen

*Affirmation of Faith The Apostle’s Creed Trinity Whitley

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayers of the People & The Lord’s Prayer Trinity Whitley

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
