Senior Course

Enjoy interactive language practice with lessons taught by teachers from the local area.

Your lessons will combine language practice with group challenges, games, navigating the city and two iPad lessons per week in the UK and Australia. You’ll explore language through activities, discussions, debated and group projects. Show what you’ve learned by completing a final multimedia project at the end of your course.

Kids Club and Junior Course

Study your chosen language as you travel with an EF Leader. Practice what you’ve learned during organized excursions, events and activities.

You’ll be taught by local language teachers using our specially-designed Go! book series. Includes teacher-led group work, role-plays, debates and real world tasks such as ordering in cafés and playing interactive games. As a final project, you’ll undertake a creative challenge.

Class styleThough all of the courses listed here are classroom-based and teacher-led, EF’s Action Learning approach is highly interactive and focuses on conversation. Your teachers make use of games, role-plays and group work to bring the language to life. Study visits and excursions get you out in the real world to use the language.

EF EfektaTM Action Learning curriculum When starting out on a language-learning journey, students make better progress with a high degree of interactivity. That’s why we created the EF EfektaTM Action Learning Curriculum, a personal approach that puts students at the heart of their course. All exercises are designed to give them the confidence and skills to successfully interact in their language of study - no matter if they’re in class or exploring their EF Course Town.

Language skills to be proud of It’s a fact: students achieve more when absorbing the language in various ways, around the clock. That’s why our class time is a combination of technologically- enhanced lessons, speaking practices in real-world situations and interactive exercises from EF’s Fast Track English books. Every practical task contributes to the EF Certificate of Achievement, which confirms student’s language level in line with the Common European Framework of Reference.

EF all the wayYour EF experience starts even before you leave home. Our staff and course consultants will give parents and children alike all the information and support needed before leaving, and we will stay with you throughout the trip until you are back home again.

Pre-departure • Contact the EF sales staff to learn more about your course abroad. • EF will handle all necessary Visa applications, respecting your privacy and personal data. • Ensure safety with applying for the standard medical and travel insurance from Erika Travel Insurance.• Log-on to our online platform MyEF, to chat with classmates and learn more about your destination.• Attend a pre-departure meeting to get all the details you need to know before departing on your trip.• Every student receives an EF Tshirt, student handbook and other travel gadgets to ensure a great trip.

2. The trip • Make yourself at home at EF’s carefully selected accommodations - whether it’s living with local hosts or meeting new friends in an EF student residence.• An EF Leader will escort you throughout your trip. They’ll travel with you to your destination and lead you on a day-to-day basis, ensuring your time abroad is as memorable and safe as possible.• You’ll benefit from our global network of staff who are on hand to help 24/7.

3. Lessons• Advance your language skills with teacher-led lessons or coaching sessions - depending on your course style. • Every student receives an EF Passport to Learn, and other course materials to ensure your language progression.• All EF teachers are carefully selected and qualified to teach a language.

4. Return• You’ll return home with an EF Certificate of Achievement proving your language development.• The EF experience doesn’t stop once you return home. You can attend EF Reunion Parties and earn great rewards as part of our EF Ambassador program.
