BAADER took over LINCO in 2007 and have since then introduced these well know spiral tanks from LINCO into our main markets here in Europe. LINCO has, due to a very strong sales organizati on, sold the LINCO Chillers to the Chilean marked since 1992 and has already sold more than 20 tanks within the salmon business!
The fi rst tank delivered by BAADER was a bleeding tank Ø3.2 m – 58 m³ delivered to Scotland in 2011. In 2013 we have delivered the fi rst tanks to Norway Ø2.4 m – 10 m³ for buff ering and chilling.
The design and constructi on of these spiral tanks is based on our old and well known tanks from LINCO. These spiral tanks have been supplied to the food industry by LINCO already for more than 40 years. More than 300 tanks are alrea-dy delivered to customers worldwide for cooling, washing and thawing all kinds of poultry, fi sh and porti ons of red meat.
History:
In the late 60’ties/early 70’ties the first LINCO spiral tanks were built for the chicken industry
In 1973 LINCO chillers were the basis for a new regulation of the European Community which said that only spiral chillers were allowed within the European Community, also for the reason of ‘first in- first out’, the possibility to control and record temperatures for water and product, as well as exact throughput.
Most of the recommendation proposed to the EEC in 1974 is still forming the main concept of the EU Regulation today.
Spiral Chillers from LINCO were at that time the only ones built in Europe
Over the years the spiral chillers has been update and improved but it still looks more or less like the ones build in the mid 90‘s - shown in the leaflet below.
Future:
In 2013 BAADER has taken over the company Seafood Innovati ons which is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of welfare-friendly soluti ons for the effi cient stunning of fi sh. Therefore we are now working on expanding our program for tanks also to be used in connecti on with these stunning systems
Thanks to conti nuous improvements the BAADER-LINCO spiral chillers incorporate latest technology and we can supply state of the arts tanks for fi sh processors nowadays.
