On Ministry Fair Sunday, the comment I heard most was, "I did not know we provided all these ministries." Many of you responded to the service opportunies by volunteering, and I am thankful for you, and I am excited for even more of our Victory family to discover all the ministry opons we have available. But to connue providing them, we need even more volunteers. If you have not found your place of ministry, I would love to chat with you. We have many needs and could use your service. Summer is quickly approaching and with it comes one of our greatest outreach ministries: Vacaon Bible School. We need Bible study leaders, craſt leaders, mission leaders, snack and recreaon leaders, just to name a few. Please pray about your role in VBS and contact Kyle Cliſton for more informaon about how you can be involved in this wonderful outreach. Thank you for your connued support and commitment to Victory. I am excited about what God has been doing and connues to do in and through the people of Victory. In Christ's Service, Todd From Todd Spring 2020 is just around the corner and we can look forward to the glorious beauty that comes with the budding of plants and the blooming of flowers revealing once again the majesty of the Creator of this universe and how amazing His giſt of this world is. As together we witness the rebirth from the winter months, we are also reminded that what was once dead in trespasses and sin, can be transformed into life through God’s majesc grace. I am grateful to know God has made the connecon with me through His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, sealing me to an eternal promise with a life that is new, abundant, and everlasng. It is in the springme we are granted the privilege to turn our thoughts toward the celebraon of Easter and the resurrecon of our Redeemer and Savior, Jesus Christ. As the brown of winter is transformed into the green of spring, so too, does every believer become a new creaon, with the old having passed and the new being revealed. We worship an Awesome God! As we prepare for Easter (April 12 th ) 2020, I want to announce that we will have a Good Friday Service on Friday evening, April 10 th at 7:00 PM. The service will feature special music, worship, readings of reflecon as we consider the price our Redeemer paid for our freedom, and acvies for our children. Jim Worthing will join us for the Easter weekend providing music for the Good Friday Service, the Sunrise Service at Hermitage Funeral Home and our Easter celebraons here on Resurrecon Sunday. Todd Capps has prepared, with the assistance of others, a Prayer Guide for the week of Easter that will be available to you at the end of March. Kyle Cliſton will oversee an Easter Egg Hunt and a presentaon of the Easter story for our children on Wednesday, April 8 th at 6:00 PM. I will be away hosng a group as we travel to the Holy Land during March. The VBC group will depart Nashville on Thursday, March 5 th and return on Sunday, March 15 th . I am grateful for the VBC staff and their abilies to cover the needs of the church while I am away. Todd Capps will be preaching on Sunday, March 8 th in the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services. Mike Massaro will be preaching on Sunday, March 15 th in the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services. Jim Ausn and Kyle Cliſton will be preaching in the 5:00 PM services while I am away. I want to express how grateful I am for Todd Capps and his team and their work in presenng a wonderful Ministry Fair on Sunday, February 23 rd . You also, are to be commended for your support and response to this important opportunity to join with the Mission of the Victory Bapst Family to Connect people to Jesus. Blessings and Shalom, Bro.
