Description:
Catalogue of military equipment, swords, uniforms, etc., Late 19th century Army of the United States. From the collection of Herbert Hillary Booker 2nd of Tujunga, California. I have loads of scans of rarer old militaria and anaval books, U.S. and foreign scanned. Scanning books preserves them better than being shelved and collecting dust and rotting away. Feel free to use these images however you wish, everything I have is public domain for all to share! Sarge Booker (I am a Booker, after all, aren't I?)

NEW I~ACE ON OI~D BEL1'S.

The old lace on a belt may be removed and the old leather re-covered withnew lace. vVhen we re-cover a belt with new lace we also clean the old metal

trimmings, so that the re-covered belt looks almost as well as a new one. Theconvenience and economy of having belts re-covered will be appreciated by officers

who have been promoted, and by those whose belts have become badly worn.

Our prices for re-covering belts are as follows:

For re-covering field officer's belt and slings with best gilt wire lace '. $5 00

wooden stirrup, there is only ODeother stirrup (the 'Whitman) in the market that will prevent thefoot from slipping. The 'Whitman Stirrup is elegant in appearance, is of proper weight, and bvmeans of a neat rubber llIat countersunk in its foot-plate prevents the foot from slipping. A pal!'of these Stirrups may be useel a good while, and then may be made as good as new by replatingau(l substituting new rubber mats for the old ones.
