(iiNi I i:mi;n "I have purchased through Mr. Hose, Hardware Merchant, one of
your "John Ji( 1,1. "' Steel Ranges, ancHvuT happy to state that it has done all I expected
and more.
I have had in my House at one time not less than two hundred guests, and found no
trouble in satisfying all their wants through having one of your Steel Ranges, and would
recommend all large hotel-keepers to try it alxne all others.
I remain, yours respectfully,

Geni LKMEN—In reply to your enquiry regarding the Range supplied us for Steam-
ship Cibola, and now in use thereon, we beg to say that it has given us entire satisfaction.
Although the Range we removed tc^jje replaced by yours was almost new, we were
forced to make the change, as it was not capable of doing the work requited.
Respectfidly yours,

Dfar Sirs—I have had no complaints about the Range you set up in my kitchen
at U King Ea^t from those who have used it during the last 5 months, before that I had no
experience of Hotel Ranges, and so cannot make comparisons practically. Of the i^iechanicai
excellence my judgment is that it is quite eeiual to any of those that I examined before
placing my order with you, both in completeness of design and substantiality of work. It
meets my requirements nicely.
Yours, etc.,
T. H- NASMITH.

Gentifmfn— Replying to your encpiiiy as to the working of the John Bull
Hotel Range which I inirchased from you-some time ago, I would say that I am more than
satisfied The consumption of fuel is not more than one-half the amount I had used in a
similai Rant-e made l)y another firm, and the results are for all purposes much more satis-
factory The Range is one of -.your No. "C" series, having one fire and two ovens, and
the heat in both ovens is perfect, and the baking qualities cannot be surpassed.
I am convinced that your Range is equal, if not superior, to any other on the market.
Respectfully yours,
(Sgd.) J. C. MILLER.

HE following pages show a linS^^'y^^ Ranges in extent and variety
unequalled by anything hitherio offered on this continent, ihere
being in the whole line over loo styles and sizes. We claim in behalf of
this Range that -it is the most economltal in fuel of any made, the heat
units being imparted to the cooking process more quickly and therefore more
economically than in any other structure made. The Range is made so as to
be durable in the highest degree. I'he Steel used is the best, safe steel, being
made for this exclusive purpose. The bodies are put together by hand work,
and being made of soft, tough steel, in combination with asbestos sheets,
thoroughly, riveted, will endure for a life time. The castings used are nearly
double the weight of castings for ordinary stove construction, and are so
made that the stationary parts, such as y'he top, are outside the fire line,
and so free from the danger of cracking by contact with the fire. In the coal
Range we are using our patent flexible duplex grate, which, besides being
free from the danger of jamming through expansion, is made so as to be
removable at the pleasure of the operator, without disturbing the linings,
water-front or other permanent fixings of t'he fire-place.
We ask the most careful examination of these goods, and a comparison
of value with anything else that is on the market, confident tint the experienced
Stove dealer will, in every case, make this his leader. The success of the line
is so far assured, that to-day the " John Bull " stands pre-eminent among
the Stoves on this market as a selling product. r^
