Membership

• Membership is free and voluntary.

• Applicants must commit to the Partners Pledge to be inducted into the program.

• Contingent on having a positive environmental compliance record.

• Each Partners is required to complete a pollution prevention activity report to retain membership.

Pollution Prevention Scholarships

The Executive Committee offered $1000 scholarships to three Indiana schools. The criteria required the recipient to be:

• Graduate or Undergraduate student and Indiana resident.

• Interested in pursuing industrial sustainability and/or pollution prevention in industry.

Ryan Gansmer

Ryan is currently a Senior in the Environmental and Ecological Engineering Program and plans to pursue a career in sustainable systems engineering or industrial ecology after completing his education.

Giles Trent WardGiles is currently a Sophomore concentrating on a Natural Resources major in Environmental Management, and is focusing on environmental remediation, pollution control or other scientific technical applications in the industrial sector.

Haley Waldkoetter

Haley graduated from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs (IU SPEA) in 2015 with her undergraduate degree. She is returning to IU SPEA for her graduate studies. Haley was unable to attend today.

Partners for Pollution Prevention “Mini” Grant

The Partners will be awarding a $4,500.00 grant to a Partner that would like help with a P2 project. This grant money will only be

awarded to a current member, the project must be a new project as of the award date and the awardee will be required to

contribute at least $4,500.00 to the project to match what the Partners award.
