The Almond Board of Australia (ABA) is the peak industry body for Australian almonds. The ABA operates as a not-for-profit, membership based organisation representing the interests of Australian almond growers, processors and marketers.

As the Australian almond industry’s peak body, the ABA facilitates further growth of the industry, seeks to maximise its profitability and ensure its sustainability by providing a platform for industry members to collectively respond to industry wide issues, invest in research and marketing, share knowledge, and interact with government and other stakeholders.

In 2017, almonds were one of Australia’s most valuable single commodity horticultural crop with farmgate value of more than $600 million. Almonds are Australia’s most valuable horticultural export industry with 2017 export sales of $429 million.

We are pleased to announce that the 18th Annual Australian Almond Conference, from October 30th to November 1st 2018 will be held at the Pullman Hotel, Albert Park, Melbourne.

This Conference will include presentations by respected Australian and International researchers and experts focussing on the entire supply chain. Speakers will address issues of industry interest, from pollination to promotion and product quality to price prediction.

The Conference is the one event attended by all sectors of our industry – from the growers who do the hard yards on our farms to the processor marketers and many industry partners who provide product and services. It is also a time when we hear from, as an industry, leaders and decision makers from Government and across the broader agricultural community.

Growers and delegates will go away with not only a thorough understanding of the industry’s research activities but also the wide ranging efforts to further develop our industry by implementing the strategic plan 2018 - 2023. We look forward to announcing our speaker line-up in the next month.

A ‘must attend’ event on the industry calendar, this Conference is the largest gathering of almond industry representatives in Australia. It brings together over 400 Australian and international delegates.

The Australian almond industry has come a long way in a short period of time with 40,000 Ha planted. We are one of Australia’s fastest growing horticultural crops with further orchards being planted over the next three years.

The Conference has become known for the value it adds to our industry and the 2018 event will be no exception.

Sponsorship enables organisations such as yours to link to the Australian industry and contribute to the success of the Australian Almond Conference. The Conference will provide high degree of visibility for promotion of your products and services.

This prospectus includes options encompassing complete marketing exposure at the Conference, verbal and signage recognition, logos on delegate satchels, exclusive event sponsorship and trade show display space.

Additional exposure is offered through an array of print advertising including programs and pre and post event marketing materials.

Sponsorship of this major event offers your organisation ongoing recognition and direct exposure at the highest level to the Australian almond industry. We invite you to become involved in this exciting industry event!
