ask this question. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of Stephen Ministry. No one will find out what
you discuss with your Stephen Minister. If you have a burden you need to share, perhaps a Stephen
Minister can help. Stephen Ministers are trained to listen and help others sort through their feelings.
If you feel a need for someone to be there for you while you work through a difficult time

5. Personal Ministries: "God wants every member of the church to stand faithfully at his post of duty,
to realize his responsibility, and create a heavenly atmosphere about his soul by continually
gathering the bright rays of the Sun of Righteousness to shed upon the pathway of those about him.
. . . We are to be representatives of Christ, as Christ was a representative of the Father. We want to
be able to attract souls to Jesus, to point them to the Lamb of Calvary, who taketh away the sin of
the world. Christ does not clothe sin with His righteousness, but He removes the sin, and in its place
He imputes His own righteousness. When your sin is cleansed, the righteousness of Christ goes
before you, and the glory of the Lord is your rearward. Your influence will then be decidedly on the
side of Christ; for instead of making self a center, you will make Christ a center, and will feel that
you are a guardian of sacred trusts." (Signs of the Times, April 4, 1892; Reflecting Christ p.213;
Acts 5:32)

HAMILTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
Our Vision:
The vision of the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church is to be a caring, biblically directed Christian Fellowship, where everyone experiences a loving relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to using their talents and abilities to prepare others for His Second Coming.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church is to proclaim the everlasting gospel to our families, friends and neighbors, leading them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and nurturing them through Christ centered ministries in preparation for His soon return.
Our Method:
We pursue this mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through:
Preaching: We proclaim the message of a loving God fully revealed in His Son Jesus Christ and the Bible. We present the Bible’s full message, which includes the second advent of Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandment law with its reminder of the Seventh-day Sabbath. Teaching: We nurture the development of a loving relationship with God, by furthering the understanding of God’s will through Bible studies, teaching health and stewardship principles and community seminars.
Restorating: We minister to the needs of the whole person, which involves the compassionate ministry of restoring the spiritual, physical, emotional and social well-being through various community services, health programs and support group ministries. Discipling: Affirming continued spiritual growth and development of all members. We nurture the converted, instruct them in righteous living, train them for effective witness and encourage their responsive obedience to God’s Will.
Our Motto:
Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33.
Spread the Love! Share the Joy!
