People’s Choice Award 2012 A Plus Carpet Cleaning and Pest Control Sonia and Paul accepting the award A Plus Carpet Cleaning and Pest control were voted as the People’s Choice award by other members, for providing excellent service and setting a great example in trading effectively. Sonia and Paul were delighted to receive the award and look forward to doing business with more members in 2013!
Top Trader 2012 Brian Lincez Bob Stone accepting the award from Dominic Brian was awarded Top Trader for 2012 for producing the highest Trade volume in across other Brisbane East Brokerage. Bob Stone accepted the award on Brian’s behalf. Bob and Brian sell a wide variety of stock ranging from furniture, fridge's, crockery, cutlery and other novelty items.
Best New Member 2012
Romeo’s Marketing David Miller accepting the award from Simone Romeos Marketing was selected by the Team at Brisbane East as the best New Member 2012. Romeo’s provide and deliver the fruit and veg box’s to the Brisbane East and West Brokerages. We look forward to receiving more delicious fruit and veg from Romeos next year!

THE YEAR THAT WAS 2012
2012 has been a very exciting year for Bartercard and especially so for Brisbane East. This year we have had two very successful Trade Shows hosted at the Beenleigh Sports Arena. Both Trade Shows provided a wide variety of stock and an overall good day! This year Bartercard also released the phone app! The Bartercard phone application has already proven to be a great tool to help members trade efficiently. The app allows users to pay members online, search for businesses nearby, search for offices locations and check their account balance. This year we have had a high capacity of stock sold from the brokerage as well as several successful exclusive events. Brisbane East has also been expanding our communication and networking capabilities with our Facebook page. The page has become a great platform to share news, promote businesses, network, share photo’s and in-turn further assist all our members to learn more about the system in a interactive environment. We have also had some new editions to our team: Simone Sherrin, Jamie-Lee Currey and Catherine Bishop whom have joined Dominic and Clarissa. There has been an eclectic mix of new members intro-duced into the system over the last twelve months which have become valuable traders. Overall it has been a very busy year embellished with success and positive change. We all eagerly await for what 2013 brings our way!

Eureka Promotions Eureka Promotions inc Jarrod Fletcher- Steven Deller joined Bartercard and has been a successful trader with selling tables at his corporate boxing events (which I have attended and had a blast) he then has also used his Bartercard $ to pay for some of the expenses for these events. Steven is also the proud Trainer of our Sponsored Member Jar-rod Fletcher who was named the Middle Weight Champion last Sunday in Perth. Jarrod along with Wife Krista and 2 beautiful children find ways to put those great sponsorship dollars to good which helps the Champion focus on being the Champion he is.
Ready Movers Ready Movers joined the Bartercard bandwagon in August this year and has been a reliable trader through out! Shaun Lindsay provides exceptional service and a can-do attitude. Ready Mov-ers cater for small local domestic moves through to interstate moves. Short and long term secure storage is available! Shaun has already aided over 30 Bartecard members in only 3 months!
Brisbane Lions Released VIP Boxes for the 2012 AFL season – which a few of our members got to purchase and entertain clients, staff, family or friends. The Brisbane Lions came on board in march this year and are sure to provide many great deals in the future for all of you AFL fans!
