is for You
We, the unified faith community of OUR LADY OF FATIMA PARISH, include the churches of Saint Peter, Our Lady of Hope, Saint Michael, Holy Rosary and Immaculate Conception. We are a diverse, merged community with a long history of faith. As a community of faith, we seek to worship together and grow with the sacraments as we nurture a love of Christ and one another. As disciples of Christ through Catholic education we strive to help the youth and children explore, understand and practice their faith. As a body of Christ, we are committed to evangelization through Catholic education and fellowship. We seek to become a strong, active community rooted in charity.

From the Desk of Father Bosco Dear Friends, In our times Christmas has become very commercialized and often very pagan. Many people are lured into overspending and excessive eating and drinking. However, these abuses must not blind us to the true meaning of Christmas. When thick smoke rises up, catches in our throat, and brings tears
to our eyes, it is because a fire has been lit. Ever since the coming of Christ, a bright fire has been burning on our earth, a fire that will never die. At this fire we experience the warmth of God’s love, and the glow of human fellowship. Let us not be afraid to come in out of the cold and warm ourselves at this fire. Praise the Lord! God has put on flesh and has come to live among us. I wish you and your families a MERRY CHRISTMAS and all the blessings of the Infant Savior.

OUR CALL TO STEWARDSHIP “And the Word became flesh” John 1:14 Jesus is God’s ultimate gift of love to us. The countless other blessings that God showers upon us are nothing compared to the gift of His only Son. The only appropriate way for us to respond to such generous love is with our own generous love. When we dedicate our lives to sharing all the gifts God has placed in our hands, the peace of Christ truly will control our hearts and we will know Christmas joy every day.
Please pray for our sick: Bernie Wiegel, Glenn Garvey, Dale Symons, Eileen White, Joyce Von Rueden, Rita Marty and Heidi Brunkow Moran. If you know of someone seriously ill and needs community prayers, please inform Father Bosco.

Seeing is believing. Take a ride to Holy Rosary Cemetery and see the statue of “Christ the Redeemer”. The expense would amount to $10,000 including landscaping. If one or more families are willing to perpetuate the memory of someone in their family, you may donate and we will duly recognize them with a plaque on the base.
WELCOME to Marla Kilburg & Tim Weigel as new members of Our Lady of Fatima. Please shake their hands and make them feel welcome.
OLF has recently subscribed to The Augustine’s Institute’s “FORMED”, a resource that brings the Catholic Faith to each of us—on demand. There are programs, books, audio and movies to appeal to all ages. We’re excited to bring FORMED to the parish and have plans for a more visible promotion after Christmas. For now, we invite anyone who is curious to go to formed.org and register. Our Parish code is T3VFJV. By registering, you will have access to all of the resources available.
