Drophecy Of The Towner High School tudents I, the Constant Gazer from the planet of f'.klrs, do enjoy taking my long range telescope and glanc
ing toward Earth at the end of each century to see the students of "Old Towner Hi."
On this Spring morning in 1999 I am searching for the eight Hi students of 1960.
First, I see the former Sharon Huddleston, who is now the wife of a Colorado Springs Cadet. They were blessed with nine little cadets , junior. Sharon is as spry as a spring chicken, who still likes to play basketba II .
I now can see Bobby Osborn, who is now managing a landing field for the civilian space ships. His squaw was his old school gal friend, no other than Gloria Hookins. They have one boy and three girls. Bob still likes to hunt rabbits and ride a motor scooter.
Lorry Tuttle divorced his first wife to remain a bachelor for a great number of years. He had no children. It appears through the telescope that he is still flirting with the old ladies as usual. It appears that he might be doing something with scout work since he has a scout badge on his garment.
Jane Quinby was fortunate enough to take nursing and is now head nurse in the County Hospital located at Towner. Towner now comprises all of Kiowa County and the only school in the county is at Towner. Oi I was developed in the area and Towner is second in size to Denver in the state. Jane was married to a young man from Holly, Colo. His name could not be had from this distance but he was red headed for her six boys are a II red headed.
Charles Humburg is now the leading farmer in the area South of Towner. He appears to have many thousand Hereford cattle on his ranch. He is using Mr. and Mrs. Hammond as his foreman and household caretaker. He still has trouble with his car driving while in Holly.
Lorry Herren is now a famous lawyer in Denver. He represents most of the people in Towner with their oil royalties and leases. His wife is a cute little blonde who was holding their sixteenth child.
Jeanie Brodie is now head of the mathematics department in Colorado University. She refused any number of suitors to remain an old maid. However, she still has that familiar smile for everyone. She sti II plays guard on the co liege basketba II team.
Lonetta Hess is now the wife of a retired general and lives in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She has no children of her own but it appears that she has adopted nine little Indian boys. Her hubby is Darell Wright.
The faculty of 1960 are scattered in many places.
Mr. and Mrs. little are now running a chicken ranch in Eastern Arkansas. tv'r. and Mrs. Godden went to school and are now both instructors in Greater Towner Hi. Mr. and Mrs. Rice have both retired but their son is teaching band and music in Pittsburg, Po. Mr. and tv'rs. Mead could not be located on the worldly map so Wilbur must be on Jupitor in the science field which was his highest ambition.
