9:00 am to 9:45 am – talk by Park Historian and tour of the Atwood Higgins House and grounds (#3). 9:45 am to noon –choose among 3 walks led by Wellfleet Conservation Trust, Town Open Space Committee and CCNS staff and volunteers
Walk A – 1 mile: Visit schoolhouse monument (#6) and return along Bound Brook Island Road. Walk B – 2 miles: Walk A plus visit to Lombard cemetery (#18) and return to Atwood Higgins House.
Walk C – 3 miles: Visit the schoolhouse monument (#6), walk to the bay overlook , return to the Atwood Higgins House via the Lombard cemetery (#18) and the overlook with a view of Cape Cod Bay and Truro (#19).
