• He started writing the date in his diary: April4th 1984 but then he stopped and suddenlyhe started writing faster:

• He definitely hate Big Brother.

• Thoughtcrime: it means having badthoughts against the Party or Big Brother.

• Facecrime: it was dangerous to look desbieliving.

• Ownlife: it means separation fromeverybody else.

• Goodthinkers: people who know what theymust do.

• Crimestop: stopping before you think a wrong thought against the Party.

• Blackwhite: it has two meanings, the firstone, enemies say that black is white, theytell lies and the other one is that Partymembers say that black is white becausethe Party tells them to and because theybelieve it.

• Doublethink: it allows people to hold twodifferent ideas in their minds at the sametime and to accept both of them.

• It had no title, it was known as ‘The Book’. Allmembers of the Brotherhood had to read it.

It was about the Party, against the Party. Ittalked about kinds of people in the world, theHigh, the Middle and the Low.

It also said that there was no law and no rules, they were no necessary.
