Hi Harry,

I hope you have a min to read this.

I was delighted to receive my book this morning then extra specially delighted to see that you had signed it for me. I never thought that a small gesture like that could have such a big effect, I am thrilled.

Also I have been reading your stuff for many years now and never even dreamt of writing to you before. I guess that’s be-cause I started my business 4 years ago, I used your books to get started and things just went well from the start. Effortless success. But then I kind of lost my way. What I mean by that is, although my business was growing I wasn’t and my skill sets weren’t either. So Ultimately as the economy started to fall so did my business.

Fortunately though, at the start of the this year I went back to my beginnings, ‘SMB Consulting Best Practises’ and realised I had put into practise very little of what I’d learned. So much so that I am embarrassed to say that, even though I did all the studying for the SBS Cert, I didn’t take the exam. I have no excuses and I hate to say it but I became a break fix busi-ness owner, not a true SMB Consultant. This is a distinction I wouldn’t have admitted or even seen a year ago.

Now though as Dillon would say ‘times they are a changing’!

On returning to SMB Nation and drilling through the site, its sponsors and webinars etc it has become abundantly clear to me where I have gone wrong. That clarity has given me such a lift. Moving from feeling as if I had no idea what to do, to having a roadmap of what needs to be done, how to do it and when to do it, is an unbelievable feeling.

So not only did you help me start my business Harry but you are now helping me save and grow my business ‘In a reces-sion!’.

INSERTSFurnished inserts are billed at the contract rate for a full-page black-and-white ad, less a 20%-35% discount depending on the number of pages. Special sizes apply to inserts. Samples need to be sent in advance to SMB Nation’s Production Department to be approved to ensure that the piece conforms to postal and printing specs. CHANCECOMMISSION&TERMSTOPAYMENTSAll advertising is invoiced upon receipt of the signed contract. All invoices are due and payable upon 30 days of the publication print date to the SMB Nation office location designated on the invoice. If bill is not paid 14 days prior to publication print date, SMB Nation Inc. reserves the right to withhold printing of advertisement in the SMB PC Magazine. SMB Nation may change its pricing at any time without prior notice. If you have an advertising campaign with a signed contract running, and the price changes you will not need to pay the difference. Your purchase price for the advertising will stay the same. Charges will be calculated solely based on the records maintained by SMB Nation.

TERMS&CONDITIONSThe publisher reserves the right to decline or discontinue without explanation any advertising deemed unsuitable. Advertisers and advertising agencies assume complete liability for all content of advertisements printed and agree to indemnify and defend the pub-lisher from all claims, accusations, or expenses, including legal fees, rising from ads placed in SMB Partner Community magazine.

FREQUENCYAGREEMENTSThe frequency contract is based on the number of insertions billed within a specified 12-month period. Each furnished insert counts as one toward contract frequency. Fulfillment of the number of insertions in less than a year will require that a new contract be signed. Rates for contract holders will be guaranteed for the duration of the contract. The contract must be signed by the advertiser and the advertising agency in advance to receive contract rates. Contract cancellation by the advertiser will void the contract rate and adver-tisers will be re-billed at the one-time rate. Without a frequency contract, advertisers will be billed at the one-time rate for each inser-tion. Single, noncontract insertions are considered on an earned-rate basis and may not be applied to future contracts.

CANCELLATIONSCancellations must be received in writing by space closing date. Cancellations after that date will be invoiced for the full amount. Pre-ferred position orders are non-cancelable within 60 days of scheduled closing dates.
