The differences between moving image compared to digital publishing graphics and digital gaming graphics is that moving image is one of the most popular sectors where a graphic designer would be involved in. E.g. music, gaming, YouTube, lifestyle, TV. Graphic design is used in all moving image products. The differences is that digital publishing graphics could not be a moving image such as a cd cover, DVD covers, e-magazines. The similarities between moving image and digital gaming graphics is that gaming consist of moving image. Gaming includes a lot of movement and dedication in the graphic design industry. It takes a long time to create a game, it also takes time.

on their CD covers, this is to make their product more advertising towards the audience.

In the Christina Aguilera Cd cover we are shown that half of her face is edited. This genre used in the cover is music as professional designers use art, designs, and music to express visual, audible and emotional expression towards the viewer. Another genre that could be used in the cover is science fiction, as half of her face resembles a robot connoting imaginative concepts. The graphic designer created a non-realistic cd cover.

In the Michael Jackson cd cover we can see that there is multiple graphic designs used in the cover. There is also bright, eye-catching colours used. The genre used in this cd cover is fantasy and fiction. As the graphic designer included dogs sitting on thrones wearing what a king/queen would wear. There are many fantasy imagery used in the cd cover. It involves a imaginary universe, The cd cover includes non realistic elements such as visionary art.

The differences between digital publishing graphics compared to moving image graphic design is that Moving image could include the minimal design. Such as the logo of the show, the actual brand that the show is being played off e.g. Channel 4, ITV. Title sequences are used in moving image too. Unlike cd covers some include them, but majority only use only the artists name or the name of the album on the cover. It is kept minimal, usually the artists want the graphic designer to create something unique, so the audience buy their product, no artists want too much text included as it might come across as boring. The similarities compared to both sectors is that they all include a type of design.

Digital gaming graphics This genre of graphic design is Simulation. Simulation has been used frequently over the

growth of gaming and graphic design. Many graphic designers use this genre frequently to design many games in this genre. Simulation has impacted the gaming industry due to the basic graphic designs it started with.

It made a impact to graphic designers who designed games a long time ago. The differences between digital gaming graphics compared to moving image and digital

publishing graphics is that it takes a long time to create a game. Graphic designers get paid a high amount especially if they are designing each character, location.

An example of a popular genre in stimulation is racing games. The impact of stimulation racing games has impacted the gaming industry very rapidly. Stimulation games led to most advanced games that include racing, e.g. Grand theft auto five. The game contains a lot of characteristics not only racing is involved in the game. You can walk around freely, drive around, do assigned missions. Also graphic designers have approved since stimulation games were brought into the industry as in the game you can also go to the fun fair, the park etc.
