Tail tunnel

The tail tunnel is consisted of two parts: upper reach with a

larger top-slope and lower reach with flat-ceiling, and flat-

ceiling tail tunnel is under open channel flow while the tail

water level is below its top altitude.

Because the tail tunnel has a larger top-slope and tail water

level is below top altitude of its outlet, an interface point is

existed and tail tunnel is divided into pressurized flowsegment and open channel flow segment, and length of

open channel flow can be varied under different tail water

level or load rejection/increment condition.
