Today I want to share a website with you where youcan go to learn about wild animals!
We are going to travel to the San Diego Zoo together and observe animal behavior.
Get ready for a wild adventure!
Travel to the San Diego Zoo!
One way to get to the San Diego Zoo is from the Library Links website that I’ve shared with you before. The San Diego Zoo link is listed under “For Curious Minds.”
You can also click on the link to go straight to San Diego Zoo Kids. You don’t have to click this link now, it’s also on the last slide!
I am first going to give you all of the directions for our assignment. Then, at the end of this SlideShow, you will find the links that you need to complete the assignment.
We might be thousands of miles away, but we can still observe the animals in real time!
Hint: These tabs are great for exploring the website. The tab for videos takes you to the live cams.
Explore the Wild Animals!
Browse the different animals and videos, including the live web cams!
There are
many live
animal cams to
explore!
Remember, San Diego is three hours behind us. The animals tend to be awake and active when it is afternoon here.
When you are done…..Use paper and any art supplies you might have (like crayons and markers) to draw a picture of one of the animals you visited at the San Diego Zoo.
Once you are finished, use your iPad to take a photo of your drawing and upload it to the exit ticket in Google Classroom.
