Dear Forum Attendees,

Thank you for joining us at the 1st Annual Babson Finance AssociationVirtual Forum hosted by the Babson Finance Association (BFA). We areproud to bring industry leaders, students, and alumni together for anengaging discussion on various aspects of the financial industry. BFA is anundergraduate student organization whose mission is to bring togetherstudents with an active interest in finance and facilitate further exposureand engagement in the field. Through workshops, speaker events, site visits,and competitions. The sectors of BFA collectively work to provide memberswith the skills, resources, and guidance needed to be successful in thefinance industry.

Babson College has a great tradition and storied history in the area offinance. Roger W. Babson, who made his name as an investmentprofessional, now is remembered for the college that he founded and thatbears his name. Today, more than a quarter of Babson students enter afinance-related field post-graduation. BFA strives to help prepare Babsonstudents for professions in the financial services industry and to strengthenthe bond between current students and alumni. We hope you find thisvirtual forum succeeds with these goals.

Today’s virtual forum has brought together numerous leading professionalsfrom a wide range of firms. Today’s discussions will revolve around varioussectors of finance, including Investment Banking, Private Equity, AssetManagement, and Corporate Finance. Overall, we hope the forum givesattendees an overview of the various sectors in finance and advice forstudents and young professionals aiming to enter the industry.

Morning Keynote

Christopher McMahon '83Head of Global Mergers & AcquisitionsRobert W. Baird & Co.

Chris joined Baird in May 2002. He is Head of Baird's Global Mergers& Acquisitions activities and a member of the firm's InvestmentBanking Management Committee, as well as the M&A FairnessOpinion Committee. Chris has 27 years of investment bankingexperience. Prior to joining Baird, he was a Managing Director in theMergers & Acquisitions Group at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB),which he joined as part of CSFB's November 2000 acquisition ofDonaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). At DLJ, Chris was a ManagingDirector in DLJ’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Chris received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BSdegree from Babson College. He is a member of The Economic Club ofChicago and a member of the Board of Overseers at Babson College.

Afternoon Keynote

Kate Jaspon '98Chief Financial Officer Dunkin' Brands

Kate Jaspon is the Chief Financial Officer of Dunkin' Brands. In this role, she is responsible

for the global financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial reporting, business

analytics, tax, debt and cash management, enterprise risk management, electronic

payments, insurance and demand planning functions for domestic and international

Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins. Kate has lead Dunkin' through a number of transactions

including the Company's IPO and follow-on equity offerings, securitization and numerous

other debt transactions, the divestiture of a brand and several system implementations.

Kate joined Dunkin’ Brands in December 2005 as Assistant Controller. She was later

promoted to Vice President, Finance and Treasury and Corporate Controller, and was

appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2017.

Eight years prior to joining Dunkin’ Brands, Kate started her career with KPMG LLP, the

international financial services corporation, culminating in a role as Senior Manager,

where she supported both public and private companies as an auditor.

Kate earned a B.S. in Finance from Babson College and is a CPA licensed in Massachusetts.

Keynote Moderator

Laurie KrigmanProfessor of FinanceBabson College

Laurie Krigman is a Professor of Finance at Babson College. Dr. Krigman

specializes in the study of initial public offerings, investment banking and

corporate finance. She has presented her work at numerous professional

conferences and has published in leading academic journals including The

Journal of Finance, The Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial

Studies and the Journal of Corporate Finance.

Previously, Dr. Krigman was on the faculty at the University of Arizona where

she taught at the undergraduate, M.B.A and Ph.D. levels. Prior to returning to

academics, she was a money manager with Trinity Investment Management

Corporation. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Econometrics from the

University of Colorado; an MBA in Finance/International Business from

Syracuse University; and a B.A. in Economics from William Smith College.

Private Equity Panel

The Private Equity will give an overview of a career in Private Equity. Apanel compromised of professionals from a wide range of firms willdemonstrate the different strategies within Private Equity. The panel willdiscuss how current economic conditions are affecting the industry. Thepanelists will offer advice to students and young alumni interested inentering the industry.

Asset Management Panel

The Asset Management panel will give an overview of a career in AssetManagement. A panel compromised of professionals who work in a widerange of asset-classes will show the wide range of careers within AssetManagement. The panel is geared to give advice to students and youngalumni on best practices for job seeking and advice on how to have asuccessful career within the Asset Management Industry.
