Relations for Charter Hospital in Athens. Like CJ, she has a warm and vibrant personality and will be the caring face of First Baptist Church to those in distress and need. We are thrilled to have her here. In this busy December, I hope to see you many times in worship and in fun. Merry Christmas from our family to each of you. Your friend and pastor, Dear Church, There are now 50 homes in Hall County built by Habitat for Humanity! Of the numerous ones we have helped to build, I have yet to attend the dedication with the new homeowners without seeing their tears and hearing, “I never dreamed I could ever live in a house like this.” In this Christmas season, let us resolve as a congregation to build another one. The local Habitat Chapter dreams of building 25 in this county in 2015; we can surely help with at least one. Every dime given goes 100% to the construction of the home. Your friend and pastor,

Dear Church,

There are now 50 homes in Hall County built by Habitat for Humanity! Of the numerous ones we have helped to build, I have yet to attend the

dedication with the new homeowners without seeing their tears and hearing, “I never dreamed I could ever live in a house like this.” In this Christmas season, let us resolve as a congregation to build another one. The local Habitat Chapter dreams of building 25 in this county in 2015; we can surely help with at least one. Every dime given goes 100% to the construction of the home. All of us give gifts, and I’m sure I’ve given my share of unforgettable ones.

The family of First Baptist Church would like to express its deepest sympathy to the following:Peggy Daughtry in the death of her aunt

Dorothy RogersSheila Dunckel in the death of her father

Jack AllisonMark Green in the death of his aunt

Vera Nell

Many Thanks to Kayanne and Abit Massey for their generous gift of 16 tickets to the GTA production of Sleeping Beauty at Brenau’s Pearce Auditorium. Here our 2nd and 3rd grade girls enjoy having their pictures taken with the wicked witch and a good fairy! The girls were so excited that some reported they couldn’t sleep the night before. In addition to tutoring and sharing the message of God’s love expressed through Christ, we want to provide different types of cultural enrichment to broaden these children’s experiences. This is an excellent way to do that. Also, thanks to the volunteers who picked up and accompanied the children.

Dearest First Baptist Church Family,Marcus, Campbell, Hallie, Asher, and I (Josie) have been completely overwhelmed by all of the prayers, meals, hugs, cards, and especially the donations that have

been so selflessly given to our family in support of Asher as he continues his battle against retinoblastoma. We have felt every single prayer that has been lifted up and have been rejoicing in the fact that the Lord has heard them as He continues to heal our sweet baby boy. We could not be doing this without the encouragement, love, and support of you all. Our family will be forever thankful for each of you! Many Blessings, The Rock Family

SPECIAL THANKS!
