Introduction
ISM band stands for “Industrial, Scientific and Medical” band License free band allocated by FCC 2.4GHz is the most crowded ISM band Many devices operate in 2.4GHz band e.g. MWO, Bluetooth, Cordless
phones etc. Wi-Fi also operates in this band Interference occurs between devices operating at 2.4GHz

Simultaneous use of ISM band devices near to one another produces:1. Degradation of Wi-Fi network performance2. Affect data transmission and increase errors in the received data.3. In worst case, termination of connection occurs Leakage power of MWO
Problem Statement
Aim of the Research
To get performance information of the Wi-Fi network in the presence of operation of:
1. Two microwave ovens, Cordless phone and Bluetooth2. How ISM band interferers affect the Wi-Fi network performance 3. To observe the attenuation of the leakage power of microwave ovens
by using different types of shielding materials in order to overcome the interference in the Wi-Fi signals.
Objectives
1. Finding the Wi-Fi network performance in the presence of operation of two Microwave ovens
2. To observe the attenuation of leakage power of microwave ovens by using material shielding
3. To analyze the Duty cycles and Spectrograms of Microwave oven, Bluetooth and Cordless phone
4. To analyze the effect of microwave oven near spectrum analyzer OR in the server room
5. To move towards an approach proving helpful in the mitigation of interference in future work
