(1Th 4:9) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are
taught of God to love one another.
(1Th 4:10) And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we
beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
(1Th 4:9) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are
taught of God to love one another.
(1Th 4:10) And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we
beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
(Joh 13:34-35) A new commandment I give
unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another.
(Joh 15:12-13) This is my commandment,
That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends.
(1Jn 3:16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
A. The standard love is a CONVINCING love
B. The standard love is a COMMITTED love
C. The standard love is a COMPASSION love
(1Jn 3:17) But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his
brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God
in him?
A. The standard love is a CONVINCING love
B. The standard love is a COMMITTED love
C. The standard love is a COMPASSION love
D. The standard love is a CARING love
(Rom 12:10) Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour
preferring one another;
(Eph 5:2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

C. The standard love is a COMPASSION love
D. The standard love is a CARING love
E. The standard love is a COVERING love
(1Pe 4:8) And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for
charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
(Rom 5:8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(1Th 4:9) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are
taught of God to love one another.
(1Th 4:10) And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we
beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
(Rom 5:5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God
is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto
us.
(1Jn 4:7-21) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for
God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love,
not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath
seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to
be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in
him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but
perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,
how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
I. We have a Standard for love
II. We should have a Spontaneous love
III.We are to Supersede the love we already
have

(1Th 4:10) And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we

(Php 1:9) And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in
knowledge and in all judgment;
