it was August , 2008 when we meet with Mr. K. S. Na at Dry Dock # and become one of my Korean partners in this project. On the first days we working in the office he is very silent and he just focus on work, but when we got together working in the site, i found him jolly and very understanding guy.
With regards to our work, sometimes we encounter some problems in site regarding good implementation for quality. but we can easily solved because he explain to me clearly and systematically his plan in action and he also ask my own opinion and recommendation with regards to the problem. For more than two month we work together, i easily got his real being. he is so human and professional. in the job site we work as professional partner. but outside work, our relationship is like a real brother. his attitude and life style, being a Korean, cope with our Filipino trend. So it’s not hard to work with him. Mr. K.S. Na is very good partner .

We’ve already been working together for more than two months.
When i first came to Subic Shipyard, i was concerned whether i’d
be able to adjust to the new surroundings at this massive yard.
i remember when we first met. i was feeling a little nervous about
being in an unfamiliar place, but you welcomed me with a warm
smile. initially, i thought you just smiled out of courtesy. but now
i know that’s not so. You always work with a smile, whether it’s
under a blistering sun or pouring rain. After your example,
i learned how to enjoy work. i used to think of work as duty, so
i didn’t really think of it as fun. but after seeing how you always
work with a smile, i too have found the joy in my job.
You once told me that you’d like to work with me again on another
project when the work in Subic yard is over. “Me too,” i replied.
i was grateful you said that because i was thinking the same
thing. the work on Dry Dock # is nearing completion and it’s been
a pleasure working with you. We’ll go our separate ways when
this project ends. but let’s do our best at each of our next tasks
and hopefully, we can work together again someday as more
skilled and seasoned people. thank you, friend!
