1. All rates are net cash with order unless credit has been approved by the publisher. Where credit has been extended, invoices are payable on terms stipulated on the invoice statement. 2. MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa and check by phone accepted. 3. All invoices are due net thirty days. 4. Publisher will invoice advertiser on a monthly or cash basis.

discounts are not allowed unless otherwise noted. Rates are for locally owned and operated businesses in our market area.

B. Every effort will be made to comply with the advertiser’s po-sition request; however, position is not sold or guaranteed.

Advertising orders are not accepted on a “position or omit” basis.

C. A contract, signed in advance, is required to earn other than the open rate and to qualify for discounts.

D. Publisher reserves the right to revise advertising rates upon 30 days notice and all contracts are accepted subject to this

condition.

E. The Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement.

F. Advertiser represents and warrants that all statements con-tained in copy submitted by Advertiser are true, and Adver-

tiser agrees that it will indemnify and hold harmless Publisher from liability, including reasonable attorney’s fees and other costs of defense, arising from any actions or claims for libel, slander, dis-paragement, trade libel, invasion of privacy, or other causes of ac-tion resulting from the publication of Advertiser’s copy.

G. The St. Augustine Record and StAugustine.com will not be liable for any error in advertisements to a greater extent

than the cost of the space occupied by the error. The Publisher will not incur any liability for errors after the first day the ad ap-pears. Any errors should be reported immediately to the advertis-ing department for correction as soon as possible. Publisher is not responsible for errors on copy received after deadline.

H. All advertising space used will be credited once as advertising inches toward contract fulfillment, except

as otherwise noted.

I. Advertising set to resemble news matter must carry the word “Advertisement” at the top of the advertisement.

J. Some advertisers may be temporarily extended a $500 cour-tesy credit limit pending the final credit extension decision,

providing a completed credit application has been submitted for review.

K. The software used to schedule and track digital impressions is set to deliver impressions within a standard margin of error.

Completed campaigns which have delivered within a seven percent margin (i.e.,+or -) will be considered to have been delivered in full.

In addition, when advertisers run multiple online impression-based campaigns during a month, the combined total number of im-pressions delivered for a given ad type will be compared to the to-tal number of online impressions ordered to determine if ordered impressions have been fulfilled.

L. The St. Augustine Record Preprint Insert PolicyFull Run, Part-Run and Zoned Preprint Advertisers

We appreciate your business and strive to deliver the best service possible. Free standing inserts (“FSI”) rates are not based solely on circulation or distribution. We cannot guarantee the amount of daily or Sunday newspapers sold or distributed. The following policies are applicable to the inclusion of free-standing inserts (“FSI”) in our newspaper and related publications:• FSIs are billed for quantities ordered and inserted. Distribution quantities are forecasted based upon available information. Ac-tual deliveries are subject to change due to fluctuations in sub-scribers and single copy sales. o For all insertion orders, the advertiser must indicate in the insertion order how excess inserts or shortages are to be addressed. •Excess •Ifnoinstructionsareprovidedforexcessinserts,atour discretion, we will: (i) insert the excess in adjacent zoned ar-eas, (ii) insert the excess in other products to completely fulfill the order. Any excess after this will be destroyed. •Shortages •Ifnoinstructionsareprovidedforshortages,wewillinsert what is available without regard for zoned areas covered. If instructed, we will endeavor to cover specific zones first. • Out of Spec Inserts o FSIs not meeting the specifications set forth in our pre-print specifications and requirements policy may pose problems for machine insertion. If accepted every attempt will be made to fulfill the order and the advertiser will be billed for ordered and inserted amount. Certain types of out of spec inserts may be ac-cepted and hand inserted for an additional cost. Please check with your sales representative before placing the order. • In no event shall we be liable for printing, delivery or other pre-print production costs incurred by the advertiser. Further, we are not liable for any consequential damages, such as lost revenue, lost profits or similar damages.

In order to achieve the best insertions possible, all of these conditions must be followed. Machine Insert Size Restrictions: • Minimum Size: 8 ½” X 5 ½” • Maximum Size: 11” X 10.5”The longest/widest side of the insert should be the leading edge (the folded or bound side of the insert). This side is used to determine compliance with the maxi-mum size restriction. FSIs not meeting these specifications cannot be accepted for machine insertion. Additional charges for distribution may apply and costs vary. Stock Specifications: • Minimum Thickness: 0.007”( 7/1000) - 80lb offset or 100lb gloss cover stock are recommended • Maximum Thickness: 1/4 inchMinimum thickness is for single sheets, cards and envelopes. Standard broadsheet inserts printed on 30lb newsprint must be a minimum of 8 pages. Newsprint inserts of less than 8 pages may require quarter-folding for insertion to develop a thickness of .006 min. Standard tabloid page inserts printed on 30lb stock must also be a minimum of 8 pages.Out of Spec Inserts:FSIs with the following characteristics may pose problems for machine insertion. Please check with your sales representative to arrange to test these inserts for production compatibility and packaging approval before placing an insertion order. Some out of spec inserts may be accepted and hand inserted for an additional cost. • Non-rectangular, tri-fold, or die-cut, special shape inserts. Accordion folds cannot be accommodated. • Inserts of inconsistent thickness (non-uniform thickness or a lump in an insert, pre-stuffed inserts). • Inserts that stick together and do not separate consistently. • Inserts that are glued, stapled, stitched, perforated or perfect bound. • Inserts that contain objects (such as keys, coins, cd’s, etc.) attached to any page. • Sachets containing scented objects, liquids or shampoos. • Poly-bags, paper-bags or product samples.

Ad text can be accepted through email, as word document or fax/printed out. Artwork is only accepted as a high resolution jpg, pdf, tif, psd, eps or ai. Artwork sent as word document, publisher file or fax will be rejected or substituted.

Camera Ready Ads - All ads need to be complete and ready to run. If ad is to run black & white it needs to be sent black & white. If ad is to run color it needs to be CMYK not RGB.

Delivery - There are a variety of ways to send us the data, including: to your sales rep’s email, Adsend, CD, internet or FTP (we can use your site or provide one).
