Literary Festivals. Southwold is an extremely popular

seaside town situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, a

Southwold has an excellent range of High Street and

boutique shops, as well as a wide range of leisure

amenities which include golf and sailing clubs. Southwold is

characterised by its variety of Regency, Victorian and

Edwardian architecture bordered by the large common,

sandy beach, pier and promenade with colourful beach

harbour at the mouth of the River Blyth

Saxmundham, about four and a half miles to the

There is a further railway halt at Darsham, approximately

three and a half miles from the property, which like

Saxmundham gives services to Ipswich and London

Liverpool Street.
