Our rating & descriptionThe venue is a residential palace dating back to the 16th century which,

over the centuries, has been added on to by various noble venetian fam-

ilies and is one of the most evocative and beautiful palaces in the city of

Venice; the Serenissima.

Sumptuous and possessing particular charm, it is located in a most

peaceful setting and has its own delightful private garden as well as a

magnificent terrace full of sun and colour. An ideal setting where to live

the intimacy and emotions which the city inspires; in a palace reminis-

cent of the ancient splendours of the Serene Republic of Venice.

The palazzo is located close to the Cà d’Oro, the splendid 15th century

gothic palace along the Grand Canal. It is located off the main tourist

drag but is still easily reachable by foot, after a two minute walk from

the Cà d’Oro water bus stop, or by boat using the palazzo’s private pier

positioned along the fetching Santa Caterina canal.

The refined elegance of the palazzo’s halls and common areas and the

delicacy of its original 16th century furnishings create a fascinating set-

ting; as well as the ideal location for gala dinners, unforgettable wed-

ding parties, cocktails, masquerade balls, musical events with small

orchestras as well as providing a special place to hold one’s business

AccomodationsThe venue is home to two lodging facilities, Suites and Residenza, each

of which has to offer elegant double rooms and very spacious and lumi-

nous suites, all decorated with taste and with special care for the orig-

inal antique restored 16th century furnishings contained within these

suites.

The interior decorating is enriched by antique mirror cases, delicate

damasked tapestries, hand-blown Murano glass chandeliers and im-

pressive decorative stuccos. The flooring is typical marble “alla vene-

ziana” alternated by a fine wood parquet. The ample spaces and im-

pressive light in these rooms create a priceless sensation of comfort,

privacy and well being.

The rooms either face the placid S. Caterina canal, thus providing a

classic venetian post card view, or face the inner courtyard and private

terrace also assuring a dazzling and charming view.

The Palazzo and its rooms provide the ideal location for peaceful get-
