1. Please fill the space provided with the name and stand number you require to be displayed on the name board of your stand, please make sure your type carefully or write clearly if you have printed off, as changes that have to be made due to illegible writing or incorrect typing will be a charged for.
2. Use upper and lowercase when completing this form and include any characters you wish to appear case sensitive. However, the organisers do have the right to convert all names to capitals, or break up names typed in using all capital letters into capitalised each word if typed in all caps if they feel it is appropriate for the show.
3. We restrict the name boards to 34 characters including spaces.
4. We normally provide one name board per open fascia, on stands that have an open fascia of 10 metres or more this can often be increased to two but this is dependent on the style of the shell scheme.
5. If a return form, is not received we will take the name provided by the organisers from the exhibitor list, if it is necessary to change this after the deadline there will be a charge of £30 + VAT be applied per board changed.
6. If you have a specific enquiry regarding your name you can email [email protected] remembering to state which show you are exhibiting at and your stand number in the subject heading.
7. Deadline for receipt of name board return form should be no later than 21 days before show opening.
8. Return forms, can be posted, faxed or emailed direct if unable to submit to the above email address. An acknowledgement of receipt can only be sent on reply to an email.
9. If you have booked a shell scheme after the deadline date please return this form immediately.

Any power cable that needs moving to another service duct, after the ordering deadline date, will be chargeable by the venue for moving due to insufficient information provided. If you cancel an invoiced order, there will be a 50% cancellation fee for mains. For fittings, lighting and sockets there will be no refund applicable if items have been installed.

Price
The Contract Price is based on the prevailing costs at the time of the quotation. If in the period up to the completion of the Contract there is
any increase in cost to the Company or a variation in the services required then the Contract Price shall be amended accordingly. Prices
quoted are exclusive of VAT and any other taxes, levies or similar charges whatsoever, all of which shall be paid by the Customer.
Payment
The Customer shall pay, in sterling, the whole invoice value, fifteen days prior to the exhibition opening date. If the Customer fails to make
full payment on the due dates, the Company is entitled, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available, to terminate the relevant
contract and suspend any performance of contract work. The Company reserves the right to charge interest at 3% above the Bank of
England base rate on amounts not paid on the due dates.
Performance
All Customer orders must be placed in writing. No Contract shall be created unless the Company accepts the order. The Company shall be
relieved of its contractual obligations in the event that performance thereof is prevented or delayed directly or indirectly by an act of God,
war, riot, strike, labour disturbance, industrial dispute, fire, flood, explosion, shortage of material or labour or any cause beyond the control
of the Company. If for any of these reasons the Contract is not completed the Customer shall pay the Contract price less the costs not
expended to date. Performance of the Contract is subject to the availability of the Company's property. The Company at its sole discretion
reserves the right to substitute unavailable Company property of a similar quality, specification and performance. The Company may sub-
contract all or any part of the services. The Company contracts for itself and as agent of and trustee for its employees and sub-contractors
and their employees and any reference in these Conditions to the Company shall be deemed to include every such employee and sub-
contractor.
Consequential Loss
The Company shall not under any circumstances be liable for any direct or indirect consequential loss arising from the services howsoever,
whensoever, or wheresoever caused and whether or not resulting from a negligent act or omission by the Company.
Company Property
All property used or supplied by the Company in connection with the Contract shall, unless expressly agreed by the Company in writing, be
on hire for the duration of the exhibition. The Customer will be responsible for the Company's property from the time of delivery up until
the time of collection by the Company. The Customer shall insure all of the Company's property for its full replacement cost and indemnify
the Company against loss of or damage to any of the Company's property howsoever caused. The Customer shall not assign, re-hire or part
with possession of the Company's property. The Customer warrants that it is the owner of exhibits and any other property entrusted to the
Company's custody or control or is authorised by the owner to accept these Conditions on the owner's behalf. The Company shall not be
liable for loss of or damage to the Customer's property howsoever, whensoever or wheresoever caused and whether or not such loss or
damage results from negligent act or omission by the Company.
Liability To Others
The Customer shall be liable for and shall indemnify the Company against claims from injuries sustained by persons and loss of or damage to
other persons property arising during the hire period howsoever caused unless such injury loss or damage results from a negligent act or
omission from the Company.
Regulations
The Customer shall comply with all regulations and conditions imposed by any exhibition organiser, promoter, hall owner or local or other
authority and shall be responsible for obtaining their written consent to any modification thereto or waiver thereof as may be necessary to
enable the Company to perform the Contract. The Customer shall communicate to the Company such as these regulations and conditions as
may affect the services and indemnify the Company against all liabilities arising from non compliance with any of the said regulations and
conditions unless resulting from negligent act or omission of the Company negligent act or omission from the Company.
Law
The Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of England. This provides a summary of our Conditions of
Business a full copy is available on request.

In this document "SEC" means Scottish Event Campus Limited.
SPECIFICATION OF STANDARD SUPPLY
1. The standard supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of the supply pipe which terminates in a stop
cock and one connection on the equipment requiring the service at a position on the stand as indicated on the customer's
dimensional drawing.
2. The service is not metered and the price includes the cost of water, air or gas used.
3. Floor fixings are of the Fischer removal bolt type. This allows for the supply of the bolt, fixing with plant in position,
removal and making good of the floor at the end of the exhibiton, The floor fixing is not suitable for up thrust or pull out
loads without provision of an approporiate anchor block.
4. Television aerials allows for the installation, maintenance and removal of the aerial cable which terminates in a standard
plug and single connection on the stand.

STANDARD CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
1. If by reason of force majeure, labour difficulties or shortages of materials or any other cause outside the control of the
SEC, SEC is unable to provide all or any of the services ordered by the customer during the whole or any part of the
duration of the exhibition, the customer's rights shall be limited to the return of a corresponding proportion of the charges
paid by him for such services.
2. SEC will not be liable for damage to property or death or injury caused to any persons by or in any way connected with
the services agreed to the provided, except only where such damage or death or injury is occasioned by the negligence
of SEC, its employees or agents.
3. On no account will SEC be liable for consequential loss suffered by the customer howsoever caused.
4. Orders placed less than 7 days before the first day of build up will not be carried out until after completion of orders
already received. Late orders will only be accepted subject to availability.
5. SEC reserve the right to refuse to process orders until payment for the supply has been received.
6. SEC is sole agent for the installation of floor fixings, aerial signal cables, water, air and gas.
7. CANCELLATION & LATE ORDERS
Cancellation of orders will only be accepted when made in writing. Where written cancellation is received by SEC later
than one week prior to start of build-up, the service will be charged at the full rate

SUMMARY SPECIFICATION OF SUPPLY
1. Telephone Services
(a) A supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of a telephone line which normally terminates in a standard line jack unit,
in a position on the stand as indicated on the customer's dimensional drawing.(b) The service is metered and the cost includes the first £10 of call charges. Call charges over £10 will be invoiced separately
2. Internet Access
(a) A supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of items as requested, in a position on the stand as indicated on the
customer's dimensional drawing, For hard wired internet connections a CAT5 UTP cable will be presented at the customer's stand.
(b) Responsibility for configuration of IT services rests with the customer, unless configuration has been ordered separately.
(c) SEC reserve the right to disconnect any unauthorised wireless networks

CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT:
A. Exhibitiors requiring rigging should submit an order to Technical Services Department of the SEC 14 days
prior to commencement of build up together with a full description of the item(s) to be rigged.
All rigging items must comply with National Arenas Association (NAA) Rigging Guidance.
B. Your order should include the following details:-
i. Total weight of the item to be rigged including attachments, light fittings etc. Where light fittings are
attached give details of how the weight is distributed
ii. Height required from floor level to bottom of item.
iii. Dimensions of item.
iv. Details of how rigging wires may be attached to item.
v. Drawing of stand showing orientation in the hall and the position of the item with measurements in from
perimeter of stand
vi. Day and time the item should be rigged. Items to be rigged are required to be on site as early as
possible, and in any case by the first day of build up.
C. As per our terms and conditions of contract, payment must be received in advance before any work will be
carried out and should be enclosed with your order. SEC reserves the right to refuse to process orders
until payment for the service has been received. A VAT receipted invoice will be forwarded to you on receipt
of payment. A 25% surcharge may be made for late orders and no guarantee can be given that the work
will be carried out.
D. SEC cannot guarantee specific times for work to be carried out.
E. Rigging work contracted to others must first be approved by SEC Ltd. In this instance public/product
liability insurance, rigging plots and test certificates must be submitted to the Technical Services Dept.
14 days prior to commencement of build up. The appointed company must have the necessary credentials
and experience to carry out rigging work.
F. Example costs are as follows. (All cost below are exclusive of VAT) Prices valid from 1st April 2019 - 31st March 2020

G. In relation to the breakdown of the event, the normal procedure is that most items will be de-rigged on the
day after the last open day of the event. If you require your item to be de-rigged on the last open day, you
should make specific arrangements with the SEC. Your should make arrangements to receive your item
at the time it is de-rigged, failing which it will be left on your stand for collection and it will then be your
responsibility to ensure that it is picked up by you or your representative(s). SEC will accept no liability
for the item after it is de-rigged. Any items left for a period of time will be charged for disposal.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR SAMPLING ALCOHOL AT THE SEC STAGE 1 Please forward the following information to the SEC for approval:
Application for permission to sample alcohol at the SEC.
Proof of License.
Training certificate (mandatory 2-hour training is required).
Proof of age i.e. valid passport or driving license. STAGE 2 On receipt of the application form and documentation, the SEC will confirm a date and time for inspection with the applicant, the event organiser and SEC Food. Please note that the application will not be approved without the relevant documentation. Applicants must ensure the following details are adhered to:
All staff must complete mandatory two-hour training in relation to alcohol sales as required by the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005. Please note that those holding a personal licence in England must complete the 2-hour mandatory training as required by the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
All staff dispensing alcohol must be aged 18 or above.
“Challenge 25” legislation must be adhered to. Anyone appearing below the age of 25 should be asked to produce identification proving they are over 18. Acceptable “proof of age” documents at the SEC are passport or driving license. If there is any doubt over the age of a patron and proof cannot be produced, the sample should not be given.
Staff should not provide samples to people who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Sampling should not encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption, such as binge drinking, drunkenness or drink driving.
Sampling should not have a particular appeal to the under 18’s.
The sample of drink should only be consumed by the person it is served to.
Handwashing Facilities with Hot and Cold Water must be provided on your stand.
Samples should measure as below:
Beers/Ciders or similar - 50ml** Wine/Fortified wines/Champagne/Alcopops and similar - 25ml**
Spirits and similar - 5ml** **Source e-guide as of August 2015
It is preferable that samples should, wherever possible, be limited to one per person. You will be required to demonstrate an effective method of control of this.
A notice in accordance with the provisions of Section 110 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 must be displayed on the stand where the dispensing of alcohol is taking place.
I understand that should I or any personnel employed in relation to this application breach The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, I will be asked to cease all sampling of alcohol immediately. This notice is displayed in accordance with the provisions of section 110 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol on these premises. It is also an offence for any other person to buy or attempt to buy alcohol on these premises for a person under the age of 18. Where there is doubt as to whether a person attempting to buy alcohol on these premises is aged 18 or over, alcohol will not be sold to the person except on production of evidence showing the person to be 18 or over.
