Proverbs 6:16-17 - These six things doth the LORD hate: yea,

 seven are an abomination unto him: 17   A proud look  , a

lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, .

Proverbs 15:25 - The LORD will destroy the house of the proud :

but he will establish the border of the widow .

I saiah 13:11 -  And I will punish the world for their evil, and the

wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of 

the proud to cease , and will lay low the haughtiness of the

terrible.

Malachi 4:1 -  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as anoven; and all the proud  , yea, and all that do wickedly,

boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,..32

  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they whichcommit such things are worthy of death , not only do the

9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they

were righteous, and despised others: (  Arrogant & Proud  )

10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a

tax collector.

11  "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, „God, I thank You

that I am not like other men - extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as

this tax collector. 12  „I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.‟
