Did you see that flying disc? Oh wait, it was just a Frisbee. Are you fast enough,

can you jump and touch the sky? Come play this out of sight, mind-blowing

game. Bust a move, not an eye! Catch the Fever, catch the Ultimate Frisbee.

The Soarin’ Rules:

1. Time: Each game will be five minutes long with no stoppage of play.

2. Teams: Five players are required to start the game, if less than five players

are present by game start, your team will be required to forfeit.

3. Initiate Play – The game begins with both teams lining up in their respective

end zone. The defense throws (kickoff) the disc to the offense.

4. Movement of the Disc -- The disc may be advanced in any forward

direction by completing a pass to a teammate. Players may not run with

the disc. The person with the disc ("thrower") has ten seconds to throw the

disc from where they caught the disc. The defender guarding the thrower

("marker") counts out the stall count. No backward throws are allowed.

5. Scoring -- Each time the offense completes a pass in the defense's endzone,

the offense scores a point. Play is initiated after each score.

6. Change of possession -- When a pass in not completed (e.g. out of bounds,

drop, block, interception), the defense immediately takes possession of the

disc and becomes the offense.

7. Substitutions -- Players may be substituted only after a point is scored.

8. Non-contact -- No physical contact is allowed between players. Picks and

screens are also prohibited. A pick or screen consists of interfering a player

from catching the disc. If contact occurs, a foul will be called.

9. Fouls -- When a player initiates contact on another player a foul occurs.

When a foul disrupts possession, the play resumes as if the possession was

retained. The referee will dictate if the play is to be redone.

10. Brackets: Team brackets will decide who advances to the next rounds,

single elimination rules will be followed.
