Over the years we have tested a lot of plastics. Not one has come close to matching the desirable qualities of Gen2 high-density polyethylene. Gen2 perfectly balances durability versus weight and delivers a consistently smooth fi nish with rich, vibrant color. Our boats look, feel and perform better because we use Gen2 HDP.

DuraLite is the lightest possible roto-molded kayak, we offer. We use a high grade Metalocine polyethylene and precisely control its fl ow during the molding process to eliminate waste. Less material means 20% less weight. DuraLite also produces a glossy fi nish, similar to the look of a composite boat.

PROCOMPOSITEFew things are as lovely to look at, or as joyful to paddle, as a Wilderness Systems composite kayak. Our layups in Kevlar or fi berglass are incredibly strong and light, and an exquisite expression of the kayak-builder’s art. When you’re ready to step up to the best, go pro.

PHASE 3 OUTFITTING: NOTHING ELSE COMPARESThe more you paddle the more you’ll appreciate the engineering marvels of Phase3 outfi tting. The sculptured high-density foam seat encourages air circulation and the precise-position settings relieve thigh and back fatigue, delivering unprecedented fi t and comfort. Our friction-adjustment system permits settings anywhere within the range of motion for that adjustment. You can set up your Phase3 seat precisely to fi t YOUR body type. And you’ll never have to land and exit your boat to adjust your settings; all controls are right at your fi ngertips.

Comfort and safety are assured when you buy a Wilderness Systems kayak, even our value-priced models. Phase3 Lite is a scaled-back version of our full-featured outfi tting. With a little less foam, fewer air fl ow channels and lacking the Backrest Height feature, it’s still superior outfi tting to just about anything else out there.

FOOTBRACES: ADJUSTMENT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

SLIDELOCK™: The ingenious SlideLock Footbrace System fi nally ends the frustrating struggle with footpeg adjustment. Our simple mechanism puts control right at your fi ngertips. You can set and reset your foot braces while sitting in your boat with a simple hand adjustment.

TRIGGERLOCK™: Most of our Sit-On-Top kayaks have TriggerLock footbraces, smooth-operating footpegs that quickly and easily adjust with the end of your foot or by reaching forward with your hands.

COMFORT SEATING SYSTEMWilderness Systems is introducing the new CSS system (Comfort Seating System) on the new Ride 135 and Tarpon series. The CSS system provides

superior sit-on-top comfort. With the exception of the Tarpon 130T, which will only have the seat back pad portion of the system, the other models will have a two pound density EVA foam seat pad and a contoured, padded, seat back. The seat pads match the contour of the respective kayaks rotomolded seat and provides additional grip and contact for better boat control.
