PRINCIPAL

Since the beginning of time, people have been trying to find a way to live forever. Whether it be through a search for the Fountain of Youth, or through the latest “Miracle Drug,” people continue to try and find ways to make life an everlasting experience. As Christians, we are given some information about eternal life. As we let others know about what Jesus has done for us, and how he has saved us, we can share God’s plan. As John 6:47 says, “I tell you for certain that everyone who has faith in me has eternal life” (CEV).

As educators we have a special privilege. We can pass on the information that God has given us, so that our students may learn to love and have faith in God. Also, we can pass on knowledge of how to live a successful life while we are still here on earth. An educator finds no greater reward than to see a student grow, mature, and live a successful life on this earth, while preparing for a successful eternity.

As we look to the future at AUS, let’s remember that God has been with us, and our faith in Him will continue to guide us. It is our prayer that as students enter and leave our gates, they will be able to take a little bit of what they have learned with them that may communicate to others, “I saw a glimpse of eternity through what I learned at AUS.”
