Priorities Survey for Online Learners
• Four sets of data will be shown: Lake Superior College (LSC)National results of all schools using PSOL (Nat’l)Minnesota Online schools using PSOL (Minn.)Ten 2-year schools for LSC Peer Group (Peer)
Order of Survey Questions
• The survey results are shown starting with the item determined to be most important to LSC online students.Each subsequent item is the next more important
item.There are a total of 26 items on the PSOL.The 11 most important items are shown in this
presentation.Student satisfaction numbers are also provided.
Summary
• The gap between the importance score and the satisfaction score represents the opportunity for quality improvement.
• The higher the importance, the greater the priority should be in closing the gap.
• However, some items are more controllable than others, especially in the short term.
