WHAT IS PHLEBOTOMYIt is the process of inserting the needle into

the vein for the collection of blood.The phlebotomist is a trained and skilled

person who performs the act of phlebotomy.

downwards in an aero plane landing technique (insert not more than a quarter of the needle) into the donors vein and note the time
