Occupant Placement We built Big Red’s stout Occupant Protection Structure around the rider and passenger, and positioned the seats so you’re well protected. Built out of sturdy, large-diameter tubing, Big Red’s Occupant Protection Structure includes such details as integrated handholds, recessed top tubes and a more spacious structure to further enhance protection.

Dual-Circuit Automotive-Style BrakesOther side-by-sides use single-circuit brake systems. Not Big Red: two separate circuits ensure balanced braking from one front and one rear wheel even if a line is damaged. Oversized brake rotors make a good thing even better.

Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) SeatbeltsBig Red features inertia-locking, three-point seatbelts. And we’ve specially tuned the locking mechanism to resist annoying engagement on rough roads, but to engage fi rmly when you need them.

Big Red is recommended for drivers 16 years of age and older, and tall enough to wear the seat belt properly and reach all the controls. The passenger should also be tall enough for the seat belt to fi t properly and brace themselves, if needed, by placing both feet fi rmly on the fl oor while fi rmly grasping the hand hold. Honda recommends that all MUV drivers read their Owner’s Manual thoroughly and view the DVD “Multipurpose Utility Vehicles: A Guide to Safe Operation” which came with your new Big Red.
