► It is clear from the image that the fixed retaining tab (marked white so that it is easier to

see) is pointing upwards. If you see a drain on which the retaining tab has been fitted in

this way, rotate the pre-installed plastic part through 180 degrees (as indicated by the

drain shown on the right in the image)

► Before commencing rotation, immerse the drain in some water containing a few drops of

an everyday rinsing agent. Adding the rinsing agent makes the plastic ring easier to rotate.

Use flat pliers to rotate the plastic ring, gripping it on the left-hand or right-hand side► Then install both drains on the heater and air conditioning unit in the first instance,

ensuring that the drains are not twisted. During the next assembly step, you must ensure

that the fixed retaining tab, which is now pointing downwards, is inserted in the recess on

the body. Now firmly press the water drain hose into place in the recess on the body. You

should be able to hear the flexible retaining tab engage.
