The 2011-12 women’s basketball season is here, and with each new season comes new optimism. Western Oregon will bring back three starters and four student-athletes who earned letters last season.

Head coach Greg Bruce led the team to a 9-9 record in the highly competitive Great Northwest Athletic Conference last season, for its most league wins since 2001-02, and the Wolves will be looking to build on that momentum going into this season.
