Simplification & Refinement of Your Ballistics

Depending on the exact ammunition performance, your guns barrel length,

the elevation, and any extreme temperatures, your specific ballistic

performance may differ slightly from those shown on this page. Since the

vast majority of shooting is done inside of 500 yards, we suggest that you

select either 300 or 400 yards and sight-in with the corresponding ballistics

characteristic of the reticle. This will provide you the best intermediate to long-

range calibration and the errors at closer distances are then usually minimal

enough to disregard. Several examples of this methodology are shown in

the calibration examples below.

Operational ease, rapid accessibility and low profile are the hallmarks of the BurrisTAC-2 Adjustment Knobs. The radial dial helps indicate at which revolution the

knob has been rotated. By having four scales of reference, the shooter can

always see one of them, whatever his shooting position may be. Once the rifle

has been sighted in, TAC-2 knobs can be set to zero by loosening the three

set screws, rotating the knobs to indicate zero, and then tightening the set

screws.
