THE HOLOGRAPHIC ADVANTAGE

In holography, all the inormation required to reconstruct the reticle image is recorded everywhere in the Heads-Up Display window. I the

window is obstructed by mud, snow, rain, etc., the HWS remains ully operational, with point o aim/impact being maintained. Even in such

extreme cases where the ront window is shattered, the HWS is ully unctional and the zero is maintained! As long as the operator can see

through any portion o the window, the entire reticle pattern is visible on target. The operator can still engage with confdence!

BATTLE PROVEN

The HWS has been designed and tested to provide consistent,reliable perormance, even in the most hostile operating

environments. The HWS is waterproo (submersible), og-proo,

shock-proo, and withstands extreme temperature variations.

The HWS meets military drop test requirements with no

unctional degradation to the weapon optic and holds zero to

within 2 MOA! Every HWS is extensively tested in a punishing

recoil simulator generating 1,600 Gs o acceleration in less than

1.0 millisecond.

HEADS UP, FULL VIEW

Engagement with two eyes open is a must. The HWS employs

a true Heads-Up Display that eliminates blind spots, constricted

vision, or the tunnel vision associated with tubed sights. All user

controls are ush to the HWSs streamlined housing with no

protruding knobs, battery compartments or mounting rings that

block the shooters vision o the target area. True, two eyes open

shooting is realized. Instant threat identifcation is achieved

by maximizing the operators peripheral vision and ultimately

gaining greater control o the engagement zone. The end result

- operators achieve maximum situational awareness.

NO REVEALING SIGNATURE

The HWS is a passive weapon optic and does not emit anymuzzle side, position revealing light signature. The projected

reticle pattern is visible only to the operator. Even Gen III night

vision equipment cannot detect muzzle side signature o the

operators position. The result the operator remains absolutely

undetectable in any operating environment.

NO RETICLE WASHOUT

The HWSs 30 brightness settings (10 settings in NV mode)

ensure the holographic reticle can be instantly viewed in ALL

types o lighting environments, cluttered backgrounds and

target colors. The HWS delivers an impressive 30,000,000:1

bright to low reticle contrast ratio to ensure the reticle is always

clearly viewable. Reticles can be easily seen against white

targets in ull sunlight even in desert or tundra environments.

With the HWS, there are no reticle wash out conditions

as seen in red dot sighting systems. For extreme low light

conditions, engaging the HWSs night vision mode allows the

reticle pattern to be viewed in tandem with the most advanced

night vision systems on the market today. The 30 brightness

settings provide the operator the exibility to adjust or optimal

conditions in todays ever changing battlefelds.

The holographic technology that is

exclusive to L-3 EOTech, provides an

enormous advantage over the red dot competition.

Where the competitors can only provide a single aiming

dot, L-3 EOTech reticle designs can be abricated to incorporate

multiple trajectory point o aim/point o impact, range assist scales,

and anti-torque or cant visual indicators. With this advanced holographic

technology, the HWS demonstrates its unique fexibility to solve a number

o re control issues or a host o applications and weapon platorms.

L-3 EOTech introduces a 2 dot reticle in the XPS and new EXPS models. This simple reticle design is calibrated to the specic trajectory o

the M4 carbine. Although only two dots are provided, this unique pattern provides (4) usable aiming points.

The 2 dot reticle can also be distinguished easily with or without magnication. In addition, this reticle pattern can work on other weapon

platorms and provide (4) aiming points: close, medium and long range (see chart below).

Insights patented Slide-Lock interace system allows or instant

tool-ree mounting and removal on most pistol rails. In the M3X and

M6X series, there are three interace options. The Universal Slide-Lock

mount fts most pistols, while the 1913 Slide-Lock mount is designed

specifcally or the true M1913 Mil-Spec Picatinny rail. Both Slide-Lock

versions come with an alternate latch bar to insure the proper ft. The

Rail-Grabber mount fts most rail confgurations whether or a pistol,

rie or shotgun and utilizes a screw-adjustable locking plate that can

be tightened to insure a rock solid ft. The Rail-Grabber mount is

particularly recommended or heavy recoiling frearms.

Get the LED AdvantageLED vs. Incandescent (Xenon)

LEDs, or Light Emitting Diodes, have several advantages over incandescent bulbs.

First, LEDs deliver increased lumen output which is why you see not only signifcantincreases in lumen output, but LEDs can maintain a high lumen output over the

course o the batterys lie. LEDs also provide a longer lie than incandescent bulbs.

This is particularly important when the light is mounted on a frearm and subjected

to the extremes o weapon shock. Finally, the LED is ar more e cient in how it

consumes battery power. Despite its increased lumen output the LED extends the

battery run time signifcantly and in the case o the X2/X2L, M3/M6 and M3X/M6X,

existing lights bezel and remove the Xenon bulb. Take the LED rom
